"Viver, very pleased to come across of this small, but comfortable Hotel. Especially you were pleased with The staff of this Hotel friendly, open with a good humour, already to help you in no respects business lunch was very good, not much choice but everything what we had was very tasty and prepared with the love. You wouldn’t expect in such small Hotel for such small way to have a lovely swimming pool. The only thing it was not as good as could be was the rooms gloomy with a small window, with the flies all around and not very clean. They have to Renova them and I think they’re in the process they wish them good luck and the sense our things."

"I highly recommend it! We spent two nights at Mohammed's place. He's very friendly, always smiling, welcoming, and offered excellent advice. He helped us find someone to organize a hot air balloon ride and also found a local breakfast spot (delicious falafel just around the corner)! The room was perfect, the atmosphere was fantastic, even outside. There was even a little cat there to greet us 🥰"

"Right off the top, we did not stay at Mara House. We did, however, book 4 days of travel, transfers and tours directly with Mara / Mara House. Luxor has been on my bucket list as long as I can remember. Last month my husband and I finally made it here for our 40th anniversary. I pretty much knew what I wanted to see, I just needed help with planning and logistics. Unlike the large bus tours, I wanted a dedicated, personalised tour for just the two of us, with a knowledgeable guide and driver, seeing the the sites we deemed important to us. Mara was our Ace in the Hole. I came across her blog while researching our trip and I was hooked by her honesty of telling it like it is. I contacted her with our travel dates and trip desires. She put together an itinerary as well as made suggestions for a few extra sites not even on our radar. I took her advice and went with it. WOW!! Could not have worked out better. Awesome trip!
