When we first arrived at the reception, the ladies were very welcoming and kind. They checked us in earlier which was so helpful cos we left home at 5am. So we had a shower before going out. They have a metro very close by. When I asked for ice They always gave me in a bucket. The only negative I have to say is, there was a gentleman at the reception on my birthday which was the 06/08. He was sooo rude when I asked him for ice. I would personally say he's rascist, because i saw how he attended to the white pple before and after me. He was very moody. There was also a gentleman at the bar 07/08 he was so kind. Although he was closing and mentioned he might miss his bus, he still managed to serve a group of guests and gave me some ice in a glass. The hotel looks lovely though. I will stay there again despite the rude man at the reception.

The location is excellent, close to museums and art galleries like the Prado, Thyssen-Baptiste, and Reina Sofia, and convenient for traveling to other Spanish cities from the train station. The room was more refined than the official photos, and the space was quite large. Hotels in Madrid generally offer lower value for money compared to other cities, but overall, we were satisfied. The room included a list of recommended restaurants in the area; be sure to check the ratings on Google Maps before choosing, as we trusted the hotel's recommendations too much and ended up with a terrible experience.
