We booked a deluxe triple room. The entire check-in process, from arrival to settling into our room, was very smooth. The hotel itself has a great ambiance, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room overlooked the square, offering a beautiful view. The location is superb for exploring, as the Line 10 Metro exit is just 100 meters away, making it incredibly convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay! 😊

It’s a good place for family to stay a bit far from city centre but if you use commute trains it only takes 15 minutes. Would love to stay again in the future.

The hotel was quite comfortable, but there's no direct airport shuttle. If you take the subway, you'll have to carry your luggage a short distance. The staff was okay; they kept asking if we wanted to add breakfast since we hadn't booked it, and they did deliver luggage to the room. The first time, they delivered the wrong bags, and when we told them it wasn't ours, they responded with 'but it has Chinese writing on it?' The turndown service included chocolates, and we got a free glass bottled water every day.

My stay at the Intercontinental Madrid was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, placing me right in the heart of the vibrant city, allowing easy access to all the must-see attractions. The service was impeccable - the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The highlight for me was the Club Lounge experience; the exquisite service and attention to detail truly made me feel like a valued guest. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Madrid.

The hotel is perfect! The breakfast is superb, the menu is delicious and varied. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is superb!!!! We walked all day! Everything is close to the hotel. The only downside is that the large towels smell awful! It's as if they were washed and left wet for a long time; they've gone rancid and smell really bad. We need to throw them out and buy new ones. We'll definitely be back! A great hotel.

This hotel is incredibly 'designed'! If you stay here, you'll get to 'enjoy': a glass bathroom door that you can't see through at night, making it likely you'll just fall asleep in the bathroom 😵; a luggage rack too small for a 26-inch suitcase 🤷🏻♀️; a leaky, non-sealing shower door 💧; bedside pendant lights you'll bump your head on every time you look up 🌛; the privilege of refilling your reusable bottle with local tap water 🍶; and 'smart features' that weren't mentioned anywhere in the description 😃. On top of that, if you're on the fourth floor or above, you'll experience amazing soundproofing, with the rooftop bar serenading you to sleep 🛌. And the best part? A beautiful price of 2500 RMB per night in the off-season! 💰 I haven't experienced a hotel like this in many places. What a truly 'novel' experience! 👍🏻

Went to meet a friend at their cafe and was very impressed with the black and gold colour scheme throughout the lobby and the cafe area. The cafe has a nice seating layout with very comfortable sofa’s and some decent arm chairs. The service is also second to none & the coffee was really nice. It also was rather reasonably priced considering the location. Would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area :)

I stayed at this hotel for three consecutive nights. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and there was a supermarket conveniently located right outside. A particular highlight was their underground parking garage: the entry and exit points were very wide, allowing even large vehicles to maneuver in and out smoothly, and the parking spaces themselves were very generously sized. The only minor downsides were that the hotel facilities felt a bit dated, and the shower water pressure was quite low. However, the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. Overall, everything else was great – it was clean and the service was good.

We stayed at The Madrid Edition while celebrating my friend’s 40th birthday in Spain, and it was the perfect choice for the trip. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special and well thought out. The hotel kindly surprised us with complimentary cava and a birthday cake, which was such a lovely touch and made the celebration even more memorable. We had also requested a flower arrangement in advance, and it was done beautifully—exactly as we had hoped. The location is another huge advantage. The hotel sits right in the middle of the city, making it extremely convenient to walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. It made exploring Madrid effortless. What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only small downside was the room ambience lighting felt a little too dim at times. Aside from that minor detail, everything—from the lobby and facilities to the rooms—was excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend The Madrid Edition to anyone visiting Madrid, especially for a special occasion.

The central location cannot be beat. The hotel feels recently renovated or at least in very good condition. Staff friendly and check in was smooth.  There is a good sized, well equipped gym in the basement and a must visit rooftop bar to begin the evening. Despite being central the rooms are well sound insulated, no noticeable noise disruption. I recommend this Hotel and would gladly stay again. The bell staff did a great job on luggage storage and ordering a taxi, etc.
