Parking is incredibly convenient here, a stark contrast to the often-congested and crowded west gate. Just to the left, there's a fantastic local restaurant offering both breakfast and lunch. Their food is absolutely top-notch, incredibly affordable, and showcases authentic local specialties. To the right, you'll discover a Xinhua Bookstore with distinctive Dai ethnic charm, ideal for a relaxed hour of browsing. About 200 meters straight ahead, we found a fireworks shop. As it was Chinese New Year during our visit, we happily bought and set off some impressive fireworks! The front desk staff were wonderfully warm and polite. Evenings were wonderfully quiet, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep. The following morning, after a leisurely breakfast, our drive to Wangtianshu Scenic Area was completely traffic-free. If your schedule permits, I wholeheartedly recommend a one-night stay here; you're sure to have a joyful and serene experience."

During the Spring Festival, the girl at the front desk gave me a souvenir when I left the store. There is a parking space with direct elevator access. There is a fast food restaurant downstairs. But the breakfast is very simple, and there is almost nothing at 8:30. I read online that it is from Chengdu, and I understand it when compared to Huayang, but I think it is a little weaker than Huayang, but it is clean when I am away from home. It's good to have both health and service. Besides, it's during the Spring Festival. I still give the hotel a thumbs up for the attentive service, but the hardware hasn't kept up."

You can't enter through the border, so you can only take a picture from afar. The hotel's location is good, not far from either the old or new border crossings, and there are many restaurants nearby, though the prices are a bit high. Another complaint: taxis in Mohan are a real headache. They don't use meters, charge a flat rate of 20 yuan per person, and are difficult to hail. It seems there are no buses."

"The hotel is closed to the bus station . It is also close to the hotel where you can take a direct bus to 望天𣗳. The food option is quite limited. The area appears dead. It is better to stay near the night market which is about 3 km away . That area is livelier and full of activities.   The hotel offers no breakfast which is a negative for me. The room is pretty basic. There is a low cocktail that you can’t use it as a table to have a meal. There is not much to do in Mengle without  a car. i checked out 1 day earlier because I think 2 nights is more than enough for a sleepy town. The staff is helpful though . They offered good information about 望天樹. The room is clean.I don’t remember if  it offers any tea but definitely no coffee.  Overall, for the price that it charges, I don’t have a lot of complaints.  "

"This was the second hotel we stayed at on our birdwatching trip in Menglun. It was originally a backup plan because we booked the Wanglian Hotel late, but after staying there, we found it to be a hidden gem. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the west gate of the botanical garden and the suspension bridge, which is very convenient. We walked there from the botanical garden. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were immediately greeted by warm service. The landlady was incredibly welcoming, and there were complimentary candies, snacks, and fruits for guests to enjoy while they waited – a very thoughtful touch. After check-in, you can add the service WeChat account to let them know the breakfast time and location, nearby restaurants, and the Wi-Fi password. The service response time is also very fast; my room had a problem with the TV's internet connection, and it was resolved within 10 minutes. I think that's impressive for the town. The hotel facilities are relatively new, with a mahogany interior and ethnic style. The facilities are quite complete, and surprisingly, it even has a small gym – great! It's nice to get some exercise after a long day. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's sufficient. If you don't want to eat breakfast there, there are many snack shops and night markets nearby. For example, there are many Dai-style restaurants in the village within a 500-meter walk of the hotel, offering authentic local flavors that are worth trying. The hotel has a relatively large parking lot, making it convenient for tourists arriving by car. A small gift is given upon check-out, which is also a nice touch. Overall, we stayed here for two nights, and our biggest impression was how incredibly welcoming the owner was. We were always ready to chat and provided a lot of information. If you're not particularly keen on the botanical garden night tour, this is a very good value accommodation in Menglun."
