"I'd give it a 5-star rating overall. The hardware and design of the rooms and public areas are flawless – high ceilings, stylish, and opulent. The on-site photography service was surprisingly good too, with plenty of great shots to choose from. However, the hotel service could use some improvement at check-in. From the moment we drove into the hotel until we entered the lobby, there wasn't a single staff member to guide us. The buggy driver didn't proactively help with our luggage at check-in either. On the flip side, the young man with glasses who helped us at check-out was incredibly attentive, following me to the car to help with luggage. Other staff members we encountered at different times were also very enthusiastic. All in all, I'm satisfied."

Every evening, he'd sit at the guesthouse entrance, sharing the day's photographic captures with guests. "I booked a river-view room for two nights. The room wasn't large, but it was compact and adequate, not too cramped, and the facilities were sufficient. The hotel's design reflects a resort concept. I've been here several times before, and this time the room had been renovated. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The bedding was comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet, although the bed was a bit small. At night, I could hear frogs croaking and roosters crowing in the distance. There was a reading lamp by the bed. The river-view room had a small terrace with a pleasant view of the Nanla River. I mainly came here for the surrounding environment. There's a good Dai-style restaurant called Mikanhong in Manlongle Village nearby, which I always eat at, but it's the only one I visit. It's not very commercialized, so it's suitable for people who prefer peace and quiet. There are several villages within about ten kilometers that you can drive to explore. On weekends, you can go to local markets and eat delicious food. Showering was inconvenient; the water wasn't very hot during the day, so I could only shower at night, but it was fine by the next morning. The breakfast was average, but filling. The trash cans were small, not big enough for a resort hotel. Overall, it's a budget hotel."

"The location is absolutely fantastic, making it the top choice for both night tours and daytime visits to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. However, the facilities are undeniably outdated; it's an old-fashioned hotel, and the breakfast is just average. Even for an old hotel, it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. The lack of charging stations is a major inconvenience, as you have to drive more than ten minutes from the east gate to the west gate to charge. But, if you're planning night tours and daytime sightseeing, I genuinely recommend it because you can directly access everything from the hotel lobby, which means more sleep! Despite the hotel being old, the service is prompt and the staff are quite nice."
