Mountain view Hotels in Tai'an

This hotel is excellent – great environment, very clean, delicious food, and wonderful service. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from Tianwai Village at Mount Tai. For convenience when hiking, the front desk even thoughtfully provided free hiking poles and disposable raincoats, which was a really nice touch that made us feel very welcome. Since we were traveling with our dog, they also gave us pet toys upon check-in. The hotel restaurant's food also exceeded our expectations; they don't overcharge for low quality just because it's a hotel, which is a big plus! While there aren't many restaurants or department stores right near the hotel, you can take an electric scooter from the entrance for about 20 minutes to reach Wuyue Plaza, a large shopping mall with plenty of dining and entertainment options. We also visited the Underground Dragon Palace this trip, which was incredibly cool inside. It involves walking through the cave and a boat ride, with one particularly exciting section that the kids loved. It was a comfortable escape from the 35-degree heat outside.

Location: The hotel's location is great, very convenient, close to scenic spots and commercial areas. Plus, the room had an excellent orientation, offering a direct view of Mount Tai. Service: The Atour's service in Mount Tai is truly exceptional; I feel it even surpasses that of Atour S hotels. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. Facilities: They have a laundry room and a gym, which is great. The hotel room was also relatively quiet, which is a big plus for light sleepers like us. The breakfast was also very good, and they even had takeaway boxes and coffee cups, which shows amazing attention to detail.

The guesthouse is perfectly situated at the foot of Mount Tai, just a short walk from the Hongmen Visitor Center. Our room was spotless and cozy, the small courtyard was wonderfully quiet, and the overall design was quite tasteful (I regret forgetting to take photos!). The owner is incredibly warm and cheerful, and even kindly offered pick-up and drop-off service near Hongmen. We had planned to climb the mountain the following day, but the weather forecast predicted rain, making us worried about our itinerary. To our relief, the owner checked a cloud map, confidently assured us it wouldn't rain, and even helped us plan the perfect route. True to their word, the next day was beautifully cool and refreshing, resulting in an absolutely fantastic experience. Thanks to contacting the owner in advance for some excellent packing advice, we were well-prepared and didn't have to carry any unnecessary luggage. Overall, a truly wonderful stay!

We only stayed at the hotel for one night before climbing the mountain but we were treated as if we were family. The hotel might not have the amenities of a 5 Star hotel but the level of service is exactly what you'd hope to get from a 5 Star hotel. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and always with a huge smile. They also recommended a restaurant across the road which was absolutely delicious. The hotel is clean, has everything you need in a hotel room and is less than 250m from the main entrance to the climb (Red Gate). The taxi had a bit of a problem finding the hotel because it's down a small alley off of the main road but it's well worth hunting it out.

This hotel definitely deserves a five-star rating! My room was incredibly spacious, and they even upgraded my room type and gave a complimentary breakfast for my child, which had a great variety. The night view from the 24th floor was amazing. There's a mall nearby with a popular stir-fried chicken place (expect a queue!), and a small night market. The hotel has an adjoining ground-level parking lot; just give your license plate number to the front desk when you leave, and parking is free, which is super convenient. Even though prices went up during the May Day holiday, it was still very reasonably priced compared to other hotels. If you come during off-peak times, the value for money would be exceptional. The only minor downside is the lack of a mini-fridge in the room. It felt a bit odd, especially since they provided a Dyson hairdryer – you'd expect a standard amenity like a fridge. The hotel is about 9 kilometers from Tianwai Village at Mount Tai, roughly a 20-minute drive. You can park at Taishan Hospital, which is right across from Tianwai Village. Just make sure to park before 7:30 AM.

The room facilities were excellent, and the front desk staff were very welcoming and responsible. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted great. There's also a gym on the fourth floor, perfect for a light workout. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The guesthouse is located by the roadside with parking, making it suitable for those driving. The courtyard has beautiful landscaping, perfect for taking photos. The rooms have underfloor heating, so the temperature is just right. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but the food is quite tasty and enjoyable. The guesthouse is conveniently located near Hongmen and Tianwaicun, easily accessible by foot or bus.

My second stay here, and it's just as good as I remember, even better than my first visit! The small courtyard has a wonderful atmosphere; this year I deliberately set aside an extra two hours just to relax there. It's super close to the Taohua Yu cable car, literally a two-minute walk. The rooms are clean, the staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and the food is delicious. Breakfast is excellent – perfect for filling up before heading up the mountain. Whatever you need, just ask, and they'll help. I'll definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

The B&B was a surprise. It is located by the water. The scenery is pleasant, quiet and warm. The room is comfortable and spacious. The boss gave me fruits. There is a large bathtub and a disposable bathtub cover is provided, so I took a nice soak. Breakfast is a fixed set meal, which includes boiled eggs, milk, grilled sausages, custard buns, rice porridge, stir-fried vegetables, pickles and noodles. If it is not enough, you can add more. The next day, they also made egg fried rice at our request, which was very considerate. The chef is very capable, and all the dishes he ordered taste great. I like the prawns braised with cabbage, beans braised with pork ribs, and hand-shredded cabbage. It's right next to the bus stop, and you can take the mountain bus in 10 minutes' walk.

Given the limited resources on the mountain, having a room with hot water was truly satisfying. The food we ordered was delivered to our room, and it was delicious and generously portioned. We got a wake-up call to see the sunrise the next day, but unfortunately, there were too many people, and we couldn't keep up with the main group. We found our own spot to watch it, and it was an unforgettable experience. A big thanks to the front desk staff for providing hot water; carrying a hot water bottle made watching the sunrise much less cold.
