"I really liked this place, the attention to detail is obvious. The room itself was a delight to stay in. The location was also great, there's a lot of stuff going on there. The breakfast was better than the usual fare in less stylish Beijing hotels, though the selection was not vast. That was made up for by a attentive and friendly service. I will stay here again next time in Beijing."

"As new hotel. Great rooms and everything was very clean and quiet with lovely soft beds that we slept so well in. We booked 2 x twin rooms with no window and found the rooms to be great, especially after a day of sightseeing. Staff were friendly and helpful, though we knew no chinese. The hotel is located a short Didi ride from the metro. We opted for the breakfast on a number of occasions and found it to be good value. A good selection of food which we enjoyed. Nearby the hotel were shops for our daily needs and a KFC."

The room features a large bed and a Smart Control system. Reasonably priced. The housekeeper is very friendly, and the reception staff are extremely helpful. Close to Chaoyang Park and the upscale Sanlitun shopping mall. Breakfast was tasty and worth signing up for. "The hotel boasts a very convenient location, being super close to the subway station. The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting guests proactively. Room facilities were also quite good. There's a complimentary pool table on the basement level, which is perfect for unwinding. Right across from it, you'll find a well-equipped gym. It offers excellent value for money, and I'd definitely stay here again for any future needs."

"More than a 5 star hotel. Honestly everything for our stay was perfect, from the location to the fact a taxi can come to the doorstop, to the breakfast they kindly included for free for 7 days!!! The hotel is beautiful and clean, everything in the room works perfectly and everything is provided, from a hairdryer to tooth brushes to comb to body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel.. the list goes on. I came to stay with my mum and I have to say the best thing about the hotel is the staff. The reception staff was kind, friendly and so helpful at all hours. I cannot thank you enough for making the trip so nice for me and my mum. I felt like I had a friend in Beijing who I could message on wechat and I asked so so many questions and always got the most helpful responses, from searching for tickets for me to helping me find restaurants. I must reiterate: they are remarkably young, full of energy, and incredibly capable. One evening, I encountered a minor issue with the bathroom in my room. I immediately contacted the front desk, and to my surprise, your team's response was incredibly swift, and their professionalism in resolving the issue far exceeded my expectations. A special shout-out goes to the male staff member, Shenglong, whose performance was truly exceptional. Not only did he arrive on the scene promptly, but he also handled the problem with incredible patience and meticulous attention to detail. He maintained a gentle and friendly smile throughout, and his professional and attentive service made me feel genuinely respected and cared for. His attitude and approach put me completely at ease and significantly enhanced my positive impression of the hotel. Furthermore, your entire team is exceptional. Whenever I left the hotel, the staff at the entrance would kindly remind us to take a bottle of water, just in case. And upon our return, they would warmly greet us with questions like, 'Did you have a good time? Where did you go? Do you need anything else?' These seemingly small gestures were incredibly heartwarming and made us feel truly looked after and cared for. This group of young individuals is full of vitality, sincere, and enthusiastic, which is truly reassuring to witness. Beyond the excellent service, I also want to commend the hotel's overall design aesthetic and meticulous upkeep. The entire hotel's design is truly unique and distinctive, with every detail exuding taste. From the room decor to the artwork adorning the hallway walls, everything creates an elegant yet modern ambiance that always caught my eye. The rooms were spotless, and the furnishings were exquisite and comfortable, allowing me to feel the joy of being in a luxurious space at every moment. "Will start with The Good: This is a new hotel, so everything was modern and ultra clean. My bed was super comfortable, aircon worked wonderfully and I had a somewhat-corner room with wide-spanning windows! I visited in summer, so I loved coming back in the afternoons for a comfortable quick rest before heading back out again. Shower was huge and clean, amazing water pressure. I love the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel too? I'm very picky with my shampoos, but I didn't need to bust out my travel packs. Hair was smooth the whole time! Love the robot too. Location is great, within Wangfujing and I could easily walk to anywhere to grab food. Sits right above a subway too, super convenient! They placed water bottles at every floor in front of the elevator, so you can grab more water if needed. If there are none left, just call for some water (in Chinese), and the robot will deliver some to you. Lobby is nice and huge too, if you're waiting for a Didi, comfortable to wait here. The Meh: Most of the staff do not speak English, which made asking for any help over the phone impossible. At reception, you'll have to communicate via translation app. Anything complicated - forget about it. However staff were nice, and tried their best to help you as much as they possibly can :) There's only ONE elevator, and it's used by everyone, including staff, so waiting times for the elevator can be incredibly long. The Bad: Location is actually excellent, just the accessibility in an issue. If this was mentioned anywhere in any reviews, I would not have booked the hotel. The hotel was located on the 3rd floor, and even though it has a 'lobby' on the first floor, they blocked the entrance so taxis or cars can't drive in (see pic of hotel lobby with an actual driveway, but it's barricaded)?? No staff on first floor too. I tried to ask reception the location for Didi pickup, and told that I will need to go by the side of the main road and wait for the Didi/taxi there. The main road is incredibly busy, so this can be stressful. If you have luggage? It's even more stressful. I thought perhaps I misunderstood, but on all the days I stayed there, I notice that that's what everyone checking out did as well - waiting at the side of the road with their luggages, then quickly throwing in their luggage in the boot while getting horned at by the cars behind. What I eventually did was to set the pickup location to a spot right beside the hotel, so that the Didi would turn into 'Baishu Hutong', and then simply wait by the alley for the Didi and flag it down. A lot less stressful, and the Didi will be able to stop for longer (driver was even able to step out and help load the luggage in easily). Note as well even though it's just a short flight of steps, there is no ramp, so not convenient if you have heavy luggage. If it's raining, you'll of course, get caught in the rain as well, since there are no sheltered paths beyond the lobby. The accessibility was my only pain point with the hotel, but major enough. So strange that they didn't pay attention to this detail."

The subway station is just a short stroll away, and Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing? All just a stone's throw away! It couldn't be more convenient! What truly won me over had to be the **adorable delivery robot** – so futuristic! The front desk staff were not only charming and beautiful but incredibly kind-hearted, with genuinely radiant smiles. **And here's the best part: One day, I was about to head out and realized it was raining, feeling a bit down about it. Immediately, a staff member handed me a raincoat and an umbrella, saying, 'Don't get wet!' That thoughtful gesture truly warmed my heart!** The little gift they gave me at check-out was also super sweet – it genuinely made me feel right at home! Honestly, for this price, staying at such a fantastic hotel feels like hitting the jackpot! It’s fully equipped with smart devices and incredibly thoughtful service. The buffet breakfast offers so many choices it's hard to decide, the gym equipment is brand new, and the shower pressure is incredibly strong – perfect for a refreshing hot shower after a workout! Whether you're here for medical appointments, tourism, or business, don't even hesitate, just book it! I've already been raving about it to all my friends. Next time I'm in Beijing? Tongrun is my home! I'm officially obsessed and locked in for good! 💕"

"The place is nice and clean, the problem i had was that it was filled with cigarette smoke which was along the corridor and also my room. I called and made my complains but there was nothing that was done. I was in room 540 but i complained to them about the next door but the hotel staff did not give me a solution. I called like at least 5 times on one of the nights but nothing was done. Very disappointed"
