GGuest UserThe location is great, very close to the subway, especially Line 8, which is super convenient for watching the flag-raising ceremony and exploring Qianmen Street for food and shopping. The decor is a bit dated, and there's no mini-fridge, but the wide bedside table is very practical, and the bay window is perfect for families. The service was good; they even upgraded us to a room with a view of Zhengyangmen Gate, which was fantastic. Breakfast wasn't very convenient though.

Aallaine___I came via the HSR at Beijing West and decided to just stay around the area. It looks very unassuming outside much like the area around the railway station but the room inside is very clean and feels new! The location is just a bit hard to find, but this is mostly due to how the whole Beijing West is. You have to walk across the parking lot at the north side of Beijin West to locate the hotel. Close also to the metro line and there’s an airport bus also that goes straight to PEK nearby or the train going to PKX.

TTravelForFreedomA very pleasant stay in a big room at a good location for 2 + 6 nights. All cars that we took could enter the narrow alley except for the first night that we had to walk about 300 metres to the place when the road was under construction. The shower room comes with heating and so it was nice to be able to shower in a warm room. Service was friendly and prompt. Those cleaning ladies were exceptionally hardworking. All went well until the last 2 nights with a new neighbour whom we believed was a light sleeper who banged hard on the wall to signal us to quiet down at about 10 pm when we didn't even really speak loudly. Feedback to the counter and they offered us immediately a change of room for sleeping that we declined since it was our last night there. Will recommend Base as most will not run into bad luck like us to have such neighbour (it will be nice if they could come to us and tell us politely or feedback to the counter to inform us instead of banging on the wall so rudely).

GGuest UserThis was truly a perfect stay! Every staff member was polite and responsible. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. Most importantly, the hotel's decor beautifully showcased Shanxi culture. The complimentary water and tea, along with all the services, perfectly met my expectations and standards. Plus, dining at the restaurant downstairs gives you a 12% discount, and the food is absolutely delicious. I really love Shanxi cuisine! The hotel's location is also superb, making it easy to get anywhere. It's incredibly well-connected, whether you're heading to Qianmen, Tiananmen, or various spots near the Second and Third Ring Roads, and it's right next to the subway and bus stops. I definitely want to come back to such a great hotel. Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll be sure to stay here again!

SShengxuanzhongjiezheThis is hands down the best value-for-money hotel in all of Beijing. It comes with complimentary breakfast, and this time they even upgraded my room! The newly renovated rooms have bathtubs and floor-to-ceiling windows. I ended up extending my stay for many days without even realizing it; everything else was just perfect. I'm happy to sacrifice a bit of my commute time to stay here.

AAnonymous User🌟 My first stay at this hotel near Qianmen was a great experience overall 👍. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade upon arrival. The room was much more spacious than I expected, with a charming retro decor featuring dark wood floors and a grey-blue accent wall – clearly designed with care. There was even a small patio outside the room, perfect for relaxing and taking a break. 📍 The location is a huge plus, right next to the Qianmen Street subway station 🚉. It's super convenient to walk to the subway and get to various attractions. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, making it easy to grab a bite. The room facilities were comprehensive and generally clean. I stayed for two nights and was very comfortable. It's definitely my top choice for sightseeing and dining, and worth considering for anyone visiting Beijing~

The only thing was that the water pressure in the shower was quite strong; it sounded like a high-pressure washer when I was showering.
