Environment: I heard that it was a house left by a general, so it has the most unique roof in the neighborhood. I also heard that the house was over a hundred years old and was renovated this year. It’s really easy to take pictures inside. You can take good photos from every angle, and there is a small yard in the front and back.
Then there is a back mountain nearby, and in front is the well-preserved Zhushan settlement. It is very comfortable to walk around when you have time.
Cleanliness: The entire B&B was very clean and I felt very comfortable when I stayed there.
Facilities: The facilities are very complete, even the hair dryer is from Daisen (only small suggestion, I hope it comes with conditioner)
Service: The boss and the landlady are really nice people. We got in touch before we went there, chatted a lot, and gave us a lot of help and suggestions. They provided free pick-up and drop-off for arrival and departure. They also gave us a lot of recommendations and suggestions when we were in the local area. Help, and later we chatted and heard that they met and got to know each other when they were working as tour guides in Xiamen, and then they also owned a small shop in Jincheng Town. They are a very hard-working family.

MM28pek0v3****The guesthouse room was fantastic—clean, tidy, and beautiful. The owner was also incredibly kind; I felt a genuine warmth emanating from him. It was my first time traveling alone, and I was a little worried about feeling lonely. But the owner was like an older brother, offering me all sorts of help; I felt a familial bond with him. If any friends ever visit Kinmen, I will definitely recommend this guesthouse!

AAnonymous UserThe service was excellent; the uncle and auntie were very warm and hospitable. The environment was clean and tidy. Although the room wasn't large, it was small but perfectly equipped. The only drawback, or perhaps an advantage, was the convenient transportation. The guesthouse is located next to a main road, and you can often hear motorcycles whizzing by.

小小民1號This trip to Xiamen was arranged via the ”Mini Three Links” from Kinmen. The Kinmen itinerary included 3 days and 2 nights, with accommodation at the Kinmen Shimei Resort. The facilities and services were excellent (a triple room had 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, and 1 kitchen). A special commendable aspect was the breakfast service; the chefs and staff provided detailed explanations on how to heat the food to enhance its flavor. It showed a genuine dedication to serving guests (this embodies the spirit of Kinmen – hospitality and treating tourists like family and friends) – truly admirable! The only drawback was the resort's remote location (far from Kinmen city, the airport, and Shuitou Wharf). Improvements in facilities and services are needed – such as free airport shuttle service and discounted taxi/motorcycle rentals. These are just my personal opinions, suggestions, and thoughts; I hope they are helpful. Finally, I wish everyone a happy, safe, and enjoyable trip!

HHe Ming-yiWhat I liked: the location is very convenient if you’re coming to Kinmen from Xiamen. The homestay is walking distance from Shuitou Port (about 15 minutes).
The owner is a very friendly and helpful person. He helped me rent an electric motorcycle and responded very fast to all of my text messages.
The homestay is clean (the cleaning lady is very kind, too! ^^). There’s a lot of storage space as well as lockers. The shampoo and body wash in the bathroom were also really nice.
What could be improved: the bunk beds consists of a wooden plank and bedding, so it was quite hard and a bit uncomfortable. However, I still managed to sleep well and there’s enough privacy.
There are no locks in the homestay. Basically anyone from outside can access the public areas and the room with the bunk beds, which can be scary for some solo travelers. However, the homestay has security cameras and Kinmen is very safe in general, so I was never really worried. The door of the room is quite heavy and makes a lot of noise, so this is something to be mindful of when it’s late and you’re sharing the room with other guests.
All in all, I had a great experience and would stay here again. I’m really happy to have had the opportunity to stay at a traditional house for such an affordable price.

GGuest UserI had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth.
The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though it’s a little away from the main busy areas — something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic.
Overall, it’s great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. I’d happily stay here again.

Tumbler Travel is located in Jinning Township, not right in the busy center but close enough to key spots like Kinmen National Park and the airport — it’s only a short ride away, which was super convenient. Some reviewers said the area isn’t super lively with restaurants right outside, but it’s peaceful and a good base for exploring by bike or scooter. 
Cleanliness & facilities:
Guests generally mention that the rooms are clean and comfortable, with free Wi-Fi and basic amenities like air-conditioning, a fridge, and reliable water. It’s not a luxury place — think simple yet functional. 
One recommended feature is that it offers free airport transfer (with prior notice), which is handy if you’re flying into Kinmen.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and tidy, and this homestay was really comfortable! First of all, I have to praise the aunt. The people are super nice and very warm and thoughtful. From check-in to departure, they are very meticulous. They will also take the initiative to recommend delicious and fun nearby, as kind as the elders at home. Besides hygiene, the room was really cleaned spotlessly, the bedding, floor, and bathroom were very clean, and I lived in peace of mind. The trip to Golden Gate is because this homestay has a lot of points, and I will definitely stay here next time.

The owner is incredibly welcoming and offers pier pick-up and drop-off service 👍 The rooms are clean and well-equipped, with a refrigerator, water dispenser, and kitchen available for your use on the first floor. The location is superb, with a 7-Eleven, drugstore, and pharmacy right outside the door. It's also just 3 bus stops to the left for Jincheng Bus Station and 3 stops to the right for Carrefour. Perfect for those who can't ride an electric scooter – hassle-free shopping and getting around!

Different from hotels in China, maybe they advocate simplicity and environmental protection, so the cups for brushing teeth and the cups in the breakfast room are disposable cups. At present, there are no hotels in China that use keys to open the door, but they still use keys to open the door, which is a bit uncomfortable. I forgot to lock the door before going out several times, and ran back to lock the door. The sound insulation is not good, and the guests outside can hear the conversation clearly. The washbasin only has a basin, no table. The dry and wet separation of the bathroom is only a curtain, not separated by glass. The view outside the window is good and feels great.
