"The guesthouse offers airport or pier pick-up and drop-off services. It's basically a converted house, but the rooms are nice and well-equipped, and most importantly, they're very new. The owner is very helpful and grateful for reminding us about the typhoon the next day, urging us to go to the pier early to wait in line, as the ferry was only operating two trips due to the typhoon. We arrived early and got a spot on the waiting list, thus avoiding the risk of not being able to get to Xiamen. They also held our room until check-out time so we could continue staying if we couldn't make it to Xiamen."

"Staying at the Eight Eight Guanhai Guyi B&B, this stay experience was really satisfactory and left a deep impression. The B&B retains the traditional Sanheyuan ancient style, full of the unique history and culture of Golden Gate. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was good to sleep, and the modern equipment was perfect. It was both old and nostalgic and very convenient to live. My favorite is the open sea view, especially the sunset in the evening, which is really healing. The proprietress and the housekeeper are very kind and enthusiastic, and will also introduce attractions and food intimately. On the whole, this is not only an accommodation, but also a wonderful experience combining ancient scorpions, sea views and human touch. Next time I come to Golden Gate, I will definitely stay again!"
