GGuest UserThe guesthouse has a great location, perfect for those driving. The owner was incredibly welcoming. The rooftop terrace offers sunrise views 🌅, though there's a slight obstruction. The sea of clouds is beautiful, definitely worth the trip. Breakfast has several options, all delicious 😋, showing the owner's dedication to the business. Thumbs up! 👍

The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

GGuest UserExceeded all my expectations of a boutique homestay with only six rooms . Ultra luxury linens and beddings , ,Panasonic view of sea clouds at the confer of your bath tub , tasteful contemporary chinese interiors , and to top it all , run by a simple humble couple who goes to ends to make your stay a comfortable one . When you stay for 3 nights or more , they cook up a storm of local delicacies for your dinner , on top of daily breakfast! Do be prepared breakfasts are local style . Bit there’s a great cafe nearby service Arabica yunna beans and it’s become one of my fave ! Def great value for money !

The host and his wife are very nice and helpful - thanks again! Dont miss the delicious tee the family is producing themselves. There is a nice roof terrace for breakfast and a nice restaurant just on the other side of street.

MMichele GramAmazing stay! The house is located just outside the village on a quiet road. The rooms are super clean, well equipped, and have air conditioning, which is important in winter. But beyond the house itself, the real highlight is the owner. We shared several tea-drinking sessions where he explained the secrets of Pu’er tea and Bulang traditions and history. Despite the language barrier (we don’t speak Chinese and he doesn’t speak English), he made a huge effort using translator apps, and communication was easy and fun. He is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, we highly recommend spending time drinking tea with him. He also created a WeChat mini-app with guides and information about the area, which we used a lot and found very helpful. Our stay was unforgettable: the Jingmai mountains were the highlight of our trip to China, and we went home with some amazing Pu’er tea and great memories. Looking forward to coming back!

This B&B has the most attention to detail of any I've ever stayed in. There's a tea mountain outside the terrace outside the room, and it's very comfortable to sleep on the recliner at night. The tea in the tea basket in the room exudes a lingering fragrance. The proprietress's tea is delicious and she's a very nice person. The whole tea room is elegantly decorated. In the evening, everyone sits together to drink tea, roast sweet potatoes, roast peanuts, and roast baba. It's very happy and highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at the Guest House. It's situated a bit down from Wengji village centre : amazing view of the mountains and nights are very calm ! We really appreciated staying in Jingmai mountain region, a more preserved and authentic area, especially after having visited Northern Yunnan where we were sometimes disappointed.... We rented an e-scooter at Mangjing which was very convenient to visit villages and tea forests around. The family is very nice and helpful, we really appreciated discovering all these different teas : green, black, white, etc. And so happy to have bought some home ! Wishing you the best ! The room is clean and new, giving people a comfortable feeling. The inn environment is good, the boss is nice, it is pleasant to drink tea, there is wild honey, and the farm dishes are delicious and affordable.

CCPeterVThe place is clean, including the bedsheet and comforter are extremely white. All amnesties are provided. The only thing I need to suggest some improvement is having the heater/air conditioner. Because in winter time, I don’t think not having one guests would not survive.

Beautful view, friendly staff. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, but only served from 8am. We were able to grab a couple of boiled eggs before our 8am departure though!
