KKyaraMeru_If you're traveling to Linfen, Shanxi, I genuinely recommend Gu Cheng Da Yuan. It's not a hotel in the usual sense; it's more like staying in a living piece of history.
The moment you push open the heavy wooden door, the city's hustle and bustle are shut out. It's a genuine old house, not some 'faux-ancient' style.
🛏️ The stay was more comfortable than I expected. The room was spacious, antique in style, but not at all dark.
✔ Underfloor heating + central air conditioning throughout, so no fear of the cold in winter.
✔ Turn on the projector and binge-watching shows in bed at night was incredibly satisfying 📽️.
✔ Welcome fruit, tea, coffee, cocktails 🍹, and afternoon tea 🫖 were all prepared.
✔ 24-hour butler service, always responsive.
✔ Takeout can be delivered directly to the room – super friendly for lazy people.
🥟 The attention to detail was a real bonus. On the Winter Solstice, I actually got to eat dumplings handmade by the hotel, and I suddenly felt 'cared for'. The breakfast menu changes daily, so you don't get tired of it.
💆♀️ This was a truly relaxing, 'lie-flat' vacation. This time, I also tried the newly introduced sound bowl healing at the hotel, which made me so relaxed I didn't want to talk throughout the session. Even if I didn't leave all day, just soaking up the sun, reading, and daydreaming in the courtyard felt completely worth it.
📸 Every corner is picture-perfect. Carved window lattices, grey brick corridors – every spot is Instagrammable.
If you're looking for a trip where you don't have to rush your itinerary or exert yourself, but simply want to stay somewhere excellent and peaceful, then Gu Cheng Da Yuan is truly a place to just lie back and relax 🤎.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Novotel Hotel was fantastic. The hotel called us after our reservation to ask what time we'd be arriving and how many children we had. They even pre-arranged the beds for us. We're a family of four, and usually when we stay in other hotels, we have to make our own beds in double rooms. The Novotel not only pre-arranged the beds but also gave us an extra blanket, which was very thoughtful. The hotel environment was great and new, and the service was very warm and welcoming. It's conveniently located within the scenic area with shuttle buses to various attractions. They also gave us complimentary tickets to the petting zoo, which our children enjoyed immensely. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Yunqiu Mountain. The breakfast was also plentiful, clean, and hygienic.

The rooms next to each other cannot see each other unless the side curtains are opened. The slippers are of a kind that can be worn for a period of time. The quality is considered Very good. The slippers used for bathing are very clean and new. The details are great! The room is fully intelligent and has a skylight so you can see the starry sky, right above the bed. It's basically at the top of the mountain. It is only a few dozen meters away from the highest point. There is a car to pick you up the mountain. I also saw some people driving up. The hotel has a large viewing platform which is also very good. There are a lot of bugs in summer. Another way to go up the mountain is to take a ferry, but you have to walk a lot of climbing and stairs. But I also experienced it. It’s such a feeling of enlightenment. If you don’t have children, the ferry would be beautiful.
Hygiene: The glass is very bright, the room does not smell of smoke, the toilet does not smell of sewer, the toilet is smart, the sink has no water stains, there is a wooden comb in a gift bag, and the slippers are placed in a sealed bag , extremely clean.
Environment: You can see the stars while lying on the bed. From the small outdoor balcony, you can see the lights of Jishan Town in the distance, listen to the rain and watch the sunrise and sunset. The cool breeze blowing on the hotel platform has a nice view of the mountain top. There are just a lot of bugs. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent. After all, there are many trees and grass, and there are all kinds of little black bugs. The food we eat is most inconsistent with the national conditions. I feel that the sausages and chips are not as good as our fried dough sticks, tofu, pancakes and other Chinese breakfasts. Eating here always feels bland, just what kids like. However, it is understandable that it may be difficult to transport food in the mountains. I recommend the grilled fish for dinner and the shrimp and eggs for lunch. These two are particularly delicious.
Service: There are free tickets and ferry tickets for the ropeway🚡, but I didn’t know about it carefully before going. I wanted to experience the ropeway with my children, but I didn’t expect that the ropeway is still a long way from the hotel. Walking and carrying the baby up and down even though it is a horizontal translation, it can be tiring. dead. It is tiring to let children experience the ice cave. After all, it is a mountain. Even if there is a ferry ropeway, it still takes more than half an hour to walk with children.
The overall feeling is that of comfort and relaxation.

It is not recommended to go to see personal preferences.

MM860276****After a long journey, what I look forward to most is finding a warm and comfortable sanctuary to rest in. This time, I stumbled upon Zefei Hotel, and it truly showed me what it means to be an 'extraordinary presence on a journey.'
Stepping into the lobby, the vintage 'Maillard' colored walls, the European-style fireplace area, and the walls lined with books instantly transported me into an artistic space, making the fatigue of my long travels disappear. When checking in, the front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. Not only did they quickly process my check-in, but they also thoughtfully introduced the hotel facilities and interesting places nearby. Their service truly warmed my heart!
Entering the room, the solid wood furniture paired with a Zinus mattress and star-rated bedding made lying down feel like being gently enveloped by clouds – pure comfort. The room also thoughtfully provided a coffee corner, and the aroma of pour-over coffee filled the air, allowing me to enjoy a moment of peace and tranquility even in this unfamiliar city.
The hotel's public areas are also fantastic. The 24-hour café, with its rich coffee aroma, is perfect whether you want to start your morning full of energy or relax in the evening with a cup of coffee. In my free time, I enjoyed picking out a favorite book in the book bar and immersing myself in a sea of knowledge; time just seemed to slow down.
Moreover, the hotel's location is excellent, with shopping malls and food streets all around, and transportation is very convenient. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, Zefei Hotel is an excellent choice. I genuinely recommend it to everyone; come here and start your wonderful journey!

GGuest UserLet's start with the location. This hotel is very close to Xiaoxitian Temple. We followed the manager's instructions and rode a shared e-bike there, which took about 8 minutes. Shared e-bikes are very convenient.
As for the hotel's amenities, Xiaodu basically takes care of everything. The room is fully automated, the room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
As for the breakfast, it's a small town, so it can't compare to big hotels, but it was still good, and the wontons were delicious.
As for the staff, be sure to pick up the little card they provide when you arrive; it's very helpful and personable. By the way, if you can see the manager, add him on WeChat for an even better experience. He'll send you some very helpful messages.
They also have a large parking lot, and valet parking is also available, which is very convenient.
Another great place, recommended by the owner, is Ma Shi Restaurant across the street. The food is delicious and generous.
In short, the service is exceptional, beyond what you'd expect from a small town.

AAnonymous UserThe Wanghelou Hotel near Hukou Waterfall is truly a hidden gem, and the experience far exceeded our expectations! It's super close to the Hukou Scenic Area, and they even have EV charging stations downstairs, which was incredibly convenient for our electric car – no range anxiety at all.
The hotel facilities are also excellent. They have underfloor heating in winter and central air conditioning in summer, so the temperature was always perfectly comfortable. When we checked in, our room felt a bit chilly, so we called the front desk for extra blankets, and a staff member brought them up very quickly. Their response was incredibly prompt; any request we had for the front desk was resolved right away.
The service throughout our stay was exceptionally thoughtful and warm. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very attentive. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, with every detail in both the rooms and public areas being immaculate. The breakfast was also incredibly rich, with a wide variety of options and plenty to eat. It was so convenient to finish breakfast and head straight to the scenic area.
Since it's in a small county near a scenic spot, I honestly didn't have very high expectations. However, this place exceeded them all – from the facilities and service to the value for money, I couldn't find a single fault. To get this level of quality at this price is truly incredible. I highly recommend it!
