After resigning, I wandered aimlessly, opening the Songyang website I'd saved for a long time. Before reaching my accommodation, I was in a daze. Arriving at the Songzhuang Village parking lot, I saw Lixia and her dog 123. It was like they were waiting for long-lost friends; there was no awkwardness, and we chatted naturally. When I got to the room, I saw the warm light that had been left on, and every detail made me feel comfortable. The bathroom was incredibly clean—a blessing for someone with OCD! The whole guesthouse felt like being at a friend's house, so I decided to stay a few more days. We drank tea, played cards, read books, and went for walks to stargaze. Lixia took me to Chenjiapu, saying it was her base. We also ate grass jelly in the old street, and Haibo's cooking was just as good as the online reviews said—I gained several pounds in just a few days… 123 is such a smart and well-behaved dog; it's hard not to like him. Happy times always pass too quickly. Next time, I definitely want to bring my girlfriend to Lixia and Hai's Crown Suite. I sincerely wish Lixia and Hai all the best! TTobias F.We had a amazing time here. We arrived by taxi in the village (which is beautiful) and got a beautiful room. The host and his family are really friendly. They showed us the surrounding and we ate together. In the area are a lot of beautiful old buildings and also some moderne buildings (tofu factory and rice wine factory). We felt like a part of the village and loved to stay here!

Clean, not far from downtown, bathrooms were in excellent condition, the breakfast was very good, except that there was nothing to drink in room temperature or any cold drink, like juice or water. In a very hot day a bit inconvenient, but everything else was very good. Ladies were helpful at the front desk. I'd stay there again in the future.

A perfect getaway from the city. The previous village that existed here was renovated and turned into a hotel, but it still retains its countryside charm. There are various activities from swimming in the infinity pool and playing pool in the games room. The food is fresh and tasty and there is coffee in the room, as well as at breakfast. Always a welcome addition. The service was great and they transported the bags up the steps for us, which was nice, as we were at the top. Overall, a great way to spend a weekend away from it all. Watch the clouds role in and enjoy the scenery.

It was more than what we expected. The place is clean and spacious, with a big screen Cable TV. There was washing machine for those who need reload with clean clothes. The location of the guesthouse is great especially if you drive, can always call for food delivery if you don’t want to drive to the nearby malls. Breakfast is yummy!
