AAleksei ProA wonderful hotel next to the beach. Delicious breakfasts. Clean, fresh rooms. Good service. Clean swimming pool. Perfect for a holiday with family or friends. The nearest beach is equipped with cheeslones, a large number of cheap beach restaurants. Great time! Thank you.

DDIANA2003Rested 10 days in this hotel. Excellent location, to the sea 7 minutes walk. Residential fast, although by the rules from 14:30. Staff friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast is good for India, always omlet, yogurt eggs, 2 types of fruit, crops, tea, toasts, generally hungry will not stay.The room is excellent, everything works, with hot water no problems, clean every day, but you have to press the clining button. There is a pool on the 5th floor, there is almost never a people. In general, the hotel liked if I came to Candolim, not even thinking about choosing it again.

GGuest UserI stayed at Santana Beach Resort with my boys’ gang for a leisure trip, and we booked a suite category room. The stay was amazing — the rooms were spacious, homely, and very clean. The pool area was always lively and fun, adding to the overall vibe of the resort.
One of the best parts is the Calamari Shack, which is the hotel’s own shack located right on the beach. The Goan food there was delicious, and the whole place gives you the perfect Goan vibes. Overall, Santana Beach Resort is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a fun, relaxed, beachside stay in Goa. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserTaj is the best in every service. We visited Taj Holiday for our anniversary and our stay was excellent. The Breakfast was amazing and had lot of varieties. Taj is the best hotel in hospitality. The Hotel lobby staff Saily helped us very much, upgrade our room to a Cottage and also gave us a complimentary anniversary Pastry and decorated our room. She also gave us some cute gifts on our anniversary.
We also visited and enjoyed Taj Fort Aguada property as its accessible from Taj Holiday Village Resort, the property is amazing and has serene and beautiful beach views.
Thank you Taj for the amazing service and hospitality.

They contacted a day prior to ask what time I would be checking in. I came in a bit later than the time mentioned and still had to wait 15-20 mins for the room to be ready. Check out was slow as well.
Rooms are clean but old and need improvement.
Breakfast buffet had mediorce options.
Staff barely smile at you.
Stayed at 3 star properties with much better outcome

GGuest UserIt was a pleasant stay. The swimming pool was good. Food and other amenities were satisfactory. Mr. Sambhu was extremely welcoming and diligent in getting things done when it came to food and other services. Finally tbe location was quite good. Medical stores, restaurants, grocery stores and most importantly the beach was at touching distance. Overall the experience as already mentioned in the beginning was quite pleasant.

GGuest User1. I booked hotel with citi view but balcony was provided on back side and that was not giving view of swimming pool also. There was no room in hotel with citi view balcony. 2. Room cleaning was week compared to other hotels of same standard. 3. As i have to go early for dudhsagar fall, they arranged snacks early in the morning on my request. But they charged for coffee ordered in room. As i told them that it should be covered under my breakfast, it should not be charged. But they informed that as yhey have generated bill, they cannot reverse. But gave 20% discount. This bill can be fully waived. Hotel is not up to the standard of money spent.

We were shown to our room and things explained.
The balcony was small but ample.
The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue.
The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter.
The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby.
The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way.
The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though.
The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice.
The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning.
Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble.
We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection.
If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss.
Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in.
All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

Only drawback is that room is quite outdated, saw some previous feedbacks about property for improvements, yet it's the same even now like bathroom door is not locking etc.
