Guest UserThe hotel is good, up to its standard as Hyatt. The location is near the center of St. Julian's, easy to go around with buses. One thing pity is that our room didn't come with tooth brush and paste. We had to ask the reception for it everyday. Reception reminded that tap water is not for drinking so we had to get the filtered water from the hallway. It might be better if hotel can just provide bottles of drinking water in the room so we don't have to walk out of the room for water everytime. Other than that, everything else was great!

The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful sea view and is relatively quiet despite being in a busy area. However, the road leading to the hotel is very noisy and the traffic is quite bad. Also, the sea view from the family room is angled rather than a direct, front-facing view.
The facilities are fairly standard, but the ice machine experience was terrible. After using it on the first day, we found that the remaining ice cubes contained a lot of black impurities and some unidentified debris, which was quite disgusting. Even after trying again, the issue persisted.
The hotel pool was not very clean, and there is no jacuzzi. There are only two massage jet switches inside the pool.
The breakfast quality was average. The cold cuts were not very tasty, and most of the fruit seemed artificially ripened and didn’t taste good. There were limited options that were actually enjoyable. Local specialty snacks often seemed to have been reheated multiple times and were tough to chew, indicating poor quality control. The omelette was only well made on one day, when the chef prepared it properly in a half-moon shape. On the other days, it was more like a plate of scrambled eggs mixed with various vegetables, which felt quite perfunctory. After a few days, there was very little left worth eating.
However, I was very happy to see the sunrise on the last day—it was absolutely beautiful.

Guest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and check-in at the front desk was very quick. The location is excellent, close to the main road but surprisingly quiet. There's a large shopping mall, KFC, Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Starbucks, and Costa nearby, as well as local supermarket chains and brunch spots. It's also very close to the airport shuttle bus stop, and there's a Wenzhou supermarket near the bus stop. Overall, a good experience. When paying the city tax at check-in, try to use a card, as cash payments might not leave a digital record, and you might be asked to pay again at check-out. Ordering a Bolt from the hotel was also accurate and convenient. Overall, not bad.

Guest UserThis was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for them.
Beautiful location, with stunning views from the roof top.
The in-house restaurant ‘Zest’ was so lovely with amazing Japanese food.
If I return to Malta I will be coming back. Excellent value for money, excellent accommodation, excellent everything! I don’t have a bad word to say.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but breakfast hardly selected then rooms have spiced after distant fat and food in the morning.
The pool was small but acceptable
Elevator disaster has taken too long to have used the stairs was very obsolete
Location was mostly expensive with Uber and Bolt
The beach is away from the hotel.

Anonymous UserThe cleanliness of the room was very good; everything was tidy and well-maintained. I also want to give a shout-out to the lady at the front desk: since I don't have a credit card, she went out of her way to find a solution for the deposit, even though this wasn't clearly communicated beforehand.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives, making the stay very stressful:
* **Poor Soundproofing due to Connecting Door:** There was a connecting door between my room and the neighboring room. I could hear every word my neighbors said – privacy was unfortunately non-existent.
* **Misleading Air Conditioning:** The central air conditioning didn't work and was also very complicated to operate. After I complained, I was promised that someone would look into it. The fact that they simply put a fan in my room instead felt disrespectful, as I explicitly booked and paid for a room with air conditioning.
* **Incomprehensible Balcony Rule:** The room has a balcony, but smoking is prohibited on it. You have to go all the way to the 8th floor to the reception area to smoke. This is illogical and extremely inconvenient.
* **Lack of Information Regarding Deposit:** Although I had already paid everything in advance via Trip.com, a deposit (credit card or €100 cash) was required upon arrival. There was no prior information about this, which led to unnecessary stress during check-in.

Guest UserOverall it was good There was a good selection for breakfast but the hot food was always cold. Spa facilities were good but on the day we are the jacuzzi didn’t appear to working on subsequent days some groups seem to stay in the jacuzzi for long periods of time even though it stated it should be used for 15 minutes when we brought this to staff attention nothing was done on our last morning there was constant drilling noise from early in morning not what you expect in a 5 star hotel

Guest UserThe hygiene was good, and the floor tiles were non-slip. The facilities were relatively new. The environment was just average, with an unremarkable city view. The restaurant was understaffed; when it got busy, they simply couldn't keep up. We had dinner at the ground floor restaurant for two nights. On the second night, there were more guests, and we waited over an hour after ordering before our food was finally brought out after we prompted them. The same issue applied to breakfast.

Rob TravelsA lovely stay overall. Nice, modern hotel in a central location. Staff overall very friendly. A couple of minor snags, requested an extra bath towel to be told they had none left.. we had to wait till the following morning. For a 4 star hotel this is unacceptable. Also the breakfast staff are too keen in cleaning up your table.. we left our food at the table to get some juice and came back and they'd cleared our plates away. Admittedly they did apologise. Overall I'd still recommend this hotel.
