We recently stayed at Kalachuchi Beach Resort and absolutely loved it! Located about 30 minutes from the port, this secluded gem offers a tranquil escape with its own private beach. The villas are spacious and comfortable, with two large beds and hot/cold showers. We appreciated the quiet and secluded atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the food at the restaurant was delicious and generous in portion size. The resort boasts a lovely pool and a private beach, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. While WiFi is limited to the reception, pool, and restaurant area, the lack of mobile signal actually encouraged us to truly disconnect and enjoy our vacation. A note for travelers: The Google Maps location is inaccurate, so be sure to double-check directions before arriving. Overall, Kalachuchi Beach Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing escape in Siquijor 🤍

⭐ ”Best hostel experience in Siquijor!” I stayed at Tribu Kihud for 7 nights and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was part of a family. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The bamboo cottages are simple but cozy, surrounded by nature and peace. The location is also great — close to San Juan's restaurants and beaches. What makes this place truly special is the atmosphere. You meet other travelers easily, share meals, and enjoy quiet evenings. It's not a fancy hotel, but it's perfect for backpackers who want a genuine and affordable experience. They can also help you rent a motorbike to explore the island. Yes, there's no hot water, but honestly, the cold shower felt refreshing after a hot day! . I highly recommend Tribu Kihud to anyone visiting Siquijor. I love the view of the resort although it was not located near the main attractions. Slightly troublesome for us because we can't drive a tuk tuk or motorcycle but that won't be a problem for thos who can or intend hire a tuk tuk for a day. We weren't interested in usual itinerary provided by the tours so we mostly stayed in the resort. Nevertheless, it was such a great time for my partner and I to relax and bask in the great sea view. Not having food and drinks in the room was slightly inconvenient but understandable given the fire ants situation in the island. As a result, we left some of our items behind because we forgot to claim them during check out. Not a big deal but something to take note of.

We stayed for 2 nights at Zosimo’s Inn. Our rooms was massive with kitchen and a fridge. Our second room upstairs was where our young adults stayed. The place is clean, room was very welcoming. Bed has the right firmness. Sheets and towels were crisp white. Toiletries were provided. No Netflix or Disney on the TV. Reception answers inquiries promptly. This was the reason I opted for this place. The price I paid for was just right with breakfast included. There is a very close walkable street food in Lazi, which was great. Our breakfast was served in a nearby eatery where our meal was prepared as ordered. Overall, it was a good stay, aside from its distance from the main city- around 30 minutes. I can recommend this place if distance to the noisy main city is not for you. I was gonna upload photos but trip.com website takes a long while to upload. ☹️

The room is clean when we arrived. The location is not beach front but is ok. The room I booked has no private bathroom which is not clearly stated in the amenities description in your app. Three rooms share in one bathroom. That is why I cancelled my 2nd and third day booking. The room also has no tv. Something I look for in an accommodation to watch news updates. 6/10

The staff were truly wonderful — very kind and helpful throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. The price is also quite affordable. However, I found the accommodation itself quite uncomfortable. The room lacked proper ventilation, and there was a noticeable smell. The air conditioning was old and quite noisy, and there was constant background noise, including water sounds and little to no sound insulation from neighboring rooms. Basic comfort elements like the pillows, mattress, and bed linen also did not meet expectations. Additionally, the window situation was not ideal. Unfortunately, despite the great staff and reasonable price, I would not choose to stay here again.

Payag ni Capitan is truly one of the most relaxing places to stay in Siquijor. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the peaceful atmosphere and the cozy, beautifully designed surroundings. Waking up to the calming sounds of nature and enjoying the fresh island breeze made every moment unforgettable. It’s the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and recharge. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with amazing vibes, comfort, and genuine island charm, I highly recommend Payag ni Capitan. I can’t wait to come back!

The place has an amazing view. Rooms are very spacious. Maintenance needs improvement. The rooms that we stayed had few issues. Staffs are wonderful. No cleaning service during our 3 nights of stay. Location is a bit far from San Juan where popular night life and restaurants are located.

The room was spacious and very clean, the owner and staff are very friendly. The only downside is the noice from the street which can get very loud at night! The AC is also quite loud so we had to turn it off during the night and just manage the heat.
