The hotel is new and modern. Staff are friendly, if perhaps overtaxed. The bed is fine. But there are a couple of design features that make me wonder. You have two choices of lights in the bathroom, either very bright or very bright. There is no way to have a gentle light on for occasional nighttime excursions when you don't want to be blasted as if standing in a full sun. There is no credenza or other desktop storage area of meaningful size. Just lots of little tables, etc. It is hard to find places to put things. There is no coffee machine in the room, evidently by design. You have to ask for one to be delivered. I'm told the hotel management thinks having coffee in your room in the morning is antisocial. Room service is quirky. Even if you order a ”fancy” meal from the main restaurant, it arrives in thin cardboard boxes. The food is just dumped into the box. No plate is provided, so you have to eat right out of the box. Hardly how a prestige place would run things. There is a microphone attached to a cable in the room. I suspect it is some form of Alexa. Sorry, I don't want one of the tech giants (or hotel staff) listening to everything that happens in the room. Fortunately, you can unplug it. There is a bright red light on the phone. I've stayed at this hotel perhaps ten times and I STILL cannot figure out how to turn it off. It disturbs sleep at night. The light fixtures do not have obvious on/off switches. You have to spend a lot of time figuring out how to turn things on. Overall, you can survive the experience but (1) don't ever order room service and (2) be prepared to adapt your lifestyle to the one hotel management thinks you should have.

Breakfast is medium to normal, just average. There are very few, coffee buffets can take a big cup and go well. The fireplace area on the first floor looked very warm. There is a Chinese supermarket across the road from the hotel, where you can buy fruit and instant noodles. Hotel parking is free. Just on the main road, the traffic is convenient.

Welcoming and convenient home base when your loved one is at the UVa Hospital. My room was excellent, clean, quiet, comfortable, good wifi, vanity separated from bed, plenty of space. Most memorable is how the staff worked with me and the situation of not knowing when my wife would be discharged from the hospital. The overnight front desk guy set me up to extend my stay. The day manager worked with me during the high stress time when discharge seemed imminent but not certain, and then at the last minute allowed me to cancel that evening's stay. Honestly, it felt like working with family. The location is at ”The Corner” with several options for food, and just a 2 block walk to the hospital (Best route: go across the street from the hotel, into the parking garage of the Battle hospital where you immediately are facing an elevator; go up to level C and onto the walkway to the hospital parking garage; take the elevator down to level A and walk the pedestrian bridge over to the UVa Medical Center).

Excellent location, not too far from the Sinatra National Park. The restaurant service is very good and the food is very refined and delicious. Next to the hotel is Walmart. The room is large but the sound insulation is not good. On the second night, the waiter did not give the bath towel that was used the day before.

The staff at Courtyard Charlottesville was incredible. We were traveling with our 5 yo and 2 year yo. Becky and Bahieh went out of their way to make us feel welcome. After serving breakfast they came back and around with complementary toys and coloring books for our kids to enjoy during the stay. They checked in on us frequently and were some of the friendliest hosts we’ve encountered. We booked a one bedroom suite which was roomy and perfect for family of four (with young kids). The room was very clean and up to date. We will stay again!

KKSBeautiful hotel! Front desk very friendly, especially Latasha! My request for a quiet room was granted. The 6th floor in low numbers is good. I stayed 3 nights for work and my room was SPOTLESS! The mattress was firm, my pillows fluffy. I especially loved the slippers because I forgot mine. Upon arrival Franklin helped me with my luggage and on a rainy day my umbrella was in my car. He kindly gave me one. The only drawback was the Valet parking. They're very good at what they do but I wish there was maybe off-site parking. $18 is a bit steep, I walked to work so I paid for my car to be parked. The morning coffee in the lobby was very good. I didn't get a chance to eat at restaurant Ridley but the aroma sure smelled good. I would definitely stay here again. The lobby's decor and seating was very comfortable.
Cchjg66We stayed one night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, on our way to Monticello on a US History Tour. We found it to be a nice hotel, with efficient staff and complimentary breakfast. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We noticed they had a nice gym & pool, but since our tour group arrived fairly late, and we had an early start the next day didn’t really have time & energy for exploring amenities. The location was convenient for going to Monticello the next morning.
GGuest UserRoom was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was good. Small refrigerator and microwave were a plus. Good location, close to shopping and restaurants. A magnification mirror and safe would be a welcome addition.
SSuziThis place is so clean. The staff is so incredibly nice. It's situated in such a pretty spot. We woke up to an amazing view of the lake. Just stunning and Charlottesville in general is just stunning. I would definitely stay there as a matter of fact, we switched to this hotel from another one and we're so glad we did.
GGuest UserFront staff were all extremely friendly. There was a weird smell in our room, sort of a chemical odor. The location was very close to downtown so that was convenient.
克克雷叙鱼玄机Because I visited the University of Virginia, I decided to stay here very close. There is a big supermarket right next to it. It is easy to buy water and food. The breakfast buffet was also good. There is free parking.
AAnonymous UserVery nice room. 4 normal pillows on beds, seems to be harder to find places that offer a decent/normal pillow. The room was fairly clean, a rag was left behind by the cleaner who must have forgotten to check prior to leaving.
刘刘The hotel is great, the service is good, very warm. The room facilities are good, the surroundings are lively, but the room is very quiet. At The corner, it’s a lively place for college weekend gatherings. It should be the nearest hotel to the University of Virginia. Walk to the train station for about 10 minutes. Recommended
GGuest Userwe stayed over night june 10, 21. the room was recently remodeled and beautiful. the staff was very nice and helpful and i could not have been more satisfied. it is pet friendly and my little alice was very happy. the beds were comfortable but a little hard for my taste. (i am very picky about my bed so can't really go by me) my husband was very pleased with it. there is a steakhouse within walking distance that is very nice. yes i would stay again.
陈陈The hotel is very good. I was very fortunate to have encountered the heavy snow in December (generally there was no snow in December)... The room was very clean, the waiter was very warm, and the scenery outside the window was first class!
