"We had a wonderful stay at Kamuela Villas Lagoi Bay. The villa was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for our family. The private pool was well-maintained and our son absolutely loved it. The staff were friendly, responsive, and always ready to help with our requests. The location is great, with easy access to Lagoi Bay Beach and nearby attractions. Overall, it was a relaxing family getaway and a perfect place to unwind. Thank you to the team at Kamuela Villas for making our holiday memorable. We would definitely love to come back again! "The hotel is quite old but well-maintained, and the service is good. However, they have a restrictive policy: each room is strictly limited to two occupants. If you have an additional person, even an underage child, they charge an extra $120 per night, even if no extra bed is needed. Since it's an all-villa resort, you need to call a car to get anywhere, which makes getting around a bit inconvenient, although the cars do arrive quickly."

"Service: There's a pier shuttle service available without prior booking. If you're coming from Singapore to Bintan, after disembarking and clearing security, the Sheraton service booth is on your left. There are also fixed bus schedules from the Sheraton to the pier. Cleanliness: I found the cleanliness to be very thorough. I stayed on the fifth floor, and the room wasn't damp at all, and the air freshener smelled lovely. Facilities: Breakfast is on the ground floor and includes local coffee and teh tarik, which is quite unique. The hotel also offers bicycles and ping-pong. There's a small restaurant by the pool where two drinks and a portion of fries cost around 130-150 RMB, and they sometimes have a buy-one-get-one-free offer. The most important thing is that by choosing Sheraton, you can walk right from the beach for about 5 minutes to a small mall with four or five restaurants and a mini-supermarket. Guests staying at other hotels would need to take a car, but at Sheraton, you can walk, which is very convenient."

"We travelled as a group of 6 adults and a baby. They were able to accommodate us to teepees just next to each other which was really helpful for a group trip. Communication via WhatsApp was prompt, with specific numbers for reception, in room dining and in house spa. The resort is closely connected to treasure bay and right next to another resort that shares the bay. Water activities and scooters for rent at 20% discount for guests. Teepee were well air conditioned and barely any creepy crawlies. Groups can hang out at the close by tables near the teepees or in their tents where there is a table, some stools and bean bags + a fan for hot days. Buggy within the resort was handy as well if you are staying far in. Service was immaculate - always so friendly and helpful."

"Wonderful moments celebrating my birthday on the stunning Bintan Island in Indonesia—a true slice of paradise. This beautiful destination is conveniently accessible with a 75-minute ferry ride from Tanah Merah, Singapore 🇸🇬, or a 20-minute trip from the Telaga Punggur ferry terminal in Batam to Tanjung Uban, as well as a 60-minute journey from Tanjung Pinang Island. During our delightful seven-night stay, we truly appreciated the warm hospitality we received. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Bintan, for the unforgettable memories!"

"Doulos Phos the Ship Hotel is a place of total serenity and peace. Upon arrival ,we were greeted by the warm hospitality of the hotel team. Andri, the hotel manager gave us a good overview of the activities that we can enjoy at the hotel. He personally conducted the tour and the ship hotel and briefed us on its interesting history. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful. In the evening, we had a 10-course Rijstafel, an Indo- Dutch semi fine dining comprising a welcome drink, appetizer,, main course and dessert plus a very special brew of coffee. Overall, it has been a wonderful weekend getaway for me and my wife. Will come back again to explore the surroundings more."

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Resort & Lagoon Bintan. From the moment we arrived at the ferry terminal, the complimentary shuttle bus transfer to the resort was seamless, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. Considering the resort has only recently opened, everything was well-organised and the facilities were impressive. There were still a few areas where work was being carried out, but that was completely understandable and didn’t affect our stay. In fact, it made us even more excited to see how the resort will continue to grow and what new experiences they’ll introduce in the future. The property itself is huge, with plenty to do for guests of all ages. There’s a gym, spa, Pilates classes, and a recreational village featuring a mini arcade, pool tables, foosball, and table tennis. You can also rent bicycles or e-bikes to explore the resort, including a designated cycling route that passes by the beach. The resort is perfect for both couples looking for a relaxing getaway and families wanting activities to keep everyone entertained. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. There are three swimming pools in total—a large main pool and two smaller pools—so it never felt too crowded. At the beach club, you can also rent kayaks and take part in other water activities. One of my favourite touches was the complimentary Chocolate Hour from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It was a lovely experience and one of the unique features that makes a stay at Mövenpick feel special. That said, we were slightly disappointed by what happened after we checked out. As our ferry departure was still a couple of hours away, we were waiting at the hotel and thought we would try our luck by asking if we could enjoy Chocolate Hour one last time. Unfortunately, our request was declined unless we paid an additional fee. While we completely understand the policy, it would have been a thoughtful gesture to extend this small courtesy to departing guests who are simply waiting for their transportation. It would have left an even more memorable impression of an otherwise wonderful stay. I could honestly go on about everything this resort has to offer. There are also different activities organised throughout the week, such as batik painting and bracelet making, so there’s always something new to try. Mövenpick Resort & Lagoon Bintan truly feels like an all-in-one destination where you can relax, stay active, and never run out of things to do. We’d love to return in the future—not just because we enjoyed our stay so much, but also to see how the resort continues to evolve as it settles into this exciting new chapter."

"Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food. The room was soundproof, ensuring a very good night's sleep. The only minor drawback was that the beef and chicken we ordered for lunch were very tough and hard to chew. However, the staff were attentive and provided excellent service, which made our whole family very happy. We would definitely come back again."

"Initially we were excited and found the resort very beautiful with beautiful beaches n lots of good food. The whole experience was marred due to the check-out episode which we believe should not have happened. The towels which should have been changed every day, were not changed accordingly but we did not complain. The episode of a missing bathrobe which we used on the 2nd day was informed when checking out. We were actually quite pissed off, the reason why we checked out so early was because we need to take the earliest ferry back to Malaysia and yet we are delayed because of the missing bathrobe... who in their right mind would want to steal your wet damp bathrobe? After nearly half an hour of explaining, the man manning the receptionist counter finally allowed us to go. Luckily thanks to our drivers who managed to reach the Ferry Terminal safely especially thru the long n winding road to the Terminal."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Outstanding Hospitality from Beginning to End** This was one of the best family holidays we've had. From check-in to departure, every interaction with the staff was sincere and heartfelt. You can tell that everyone genuinely enjoys looking after guests. A special highlight was the spa. My mother enjoyed the 90-minute full spa experience after the reception patiently explained the different packages to help us choose the most suitable treatment. The Chinese-speaking masseuse was exceptional and made the experience incredibly relaxing. Our daughter also had an amazing holiday. She loved Earth Basket, where Kiki made the visit engaging and fun, as well as the watersports, especially her first-ever banana boat ride, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. We also joined the complimentary stargazing sessions on both evenings. Idu and his colleague on one night, and Rusdi and his colleague on the next, shared fascinating knowledge about the moon, stars, navigation and astronomy. It became one of the most memorable activities of our stay. The front desk team, especially Haykal, Feronica and Gian, were always quick to assist us through WhatsApp and in person. Breakfast had an excellent variety every morning, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculately maintained. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Mustika, whose leadership and personal warmth were evident throughout the resort. Seeing him personally come over to bid us farewell before we left for the ferry was a wonderful way to end our stay. The Residence Bintan delivers genuine hospitality in every sense of the word. We would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Bintan and look forward to coming back again."
