"I checked in around 8:30 pm after traveling from Malang. After I got the room and went there, I found the AC was leaking. Then I informed the reception. Engineering came to check, I thought they would replace the new room, but apparently not. I waited for them to check, because I was going out again for dinner. After they finished, I left the hotel. I returned to the hotel and rested. Around 3 pm, a staff member tried to open the room and we woke up and asked, they asked if the AC could be used? AT 3 AM WHEN GUESTS ARE RESTING!! Is that normal?? We slept with the AC not functioning properly in the heat of Surabaya."

"It was raining when we arrived, and the area in front of the lobby was a bit muddy. When we got to the room, we found a leak. The front desk immediately sent someone to clean it up. We had an early check-in because we needed to freshen up before heading to the hospital. When we were about to leave, the receptionist informed us that our room would be moved to one without a leak. We were on the 17th floor and got moved to the 11th, with the same room size and facilities. Their service was quick and very friendly. The facilities are comprehensive, making it feel more like an apartment than a hotel. The breakfast was all delicious, with a full range of menu options from traditional to modern dishes. The view from the rooftop pool was great, and there's also a kids' playground. What the kids loved most were the room facilities and the breakfast."

"This hotel is located in the Darmo area, within walking distance to Surabaya Zoo, and about a 10-minute taxi ride to the train station, Submarine Monument, and Plaza. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance, making the location excellent and safe. I stayed here for three nights. The executive suite on the top floor offers great views, but the deluxe suite on the floor below would have been perfectly adequate. Both rooms are very spacious with two floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, enough to satisfy even a Chinese palate. A special thank you to the front desk staff for helping me find my wallet, which I had lost in the lobby!"
