"The reception is accommodating. The food is average because they don’t have any hot meal. The selection of cheese and cold items have many choices and fruit juice as well. They provide healthy options such as yoghurts, variety of fruits, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, chia seeds and nuts. They have also different kinds of danish pastries, croissants, savouries, sweets and cakes. We liked the breakfast buffet station. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The location of the hotel have good proximity within the tourist spots."

"The hotel is well located near the city centre. Convenient car parking at hotel premises. I was disappointed that booking for one person gets you only one single bed in a very small room. For such a price paid (cca 150 euro/night) this was very disappointing. Breakfast was basic and fine. Very friendly staff."

"We stayed three nights in a room advertised for lake view. The actual view is half blocked by a tree. This is very disappointing considering the images at the website. There was a huge bug on bed sheets and blonde hair noted on towels before we started using them. Lastly the hairdryer was broken. After I requested the hairdryer to be replaced, even though the reception staff said they would do it, it just never happened. Air conditioning was unable to be adjusted and the room gets freezing in the evenings. Overall, it was the worst experiences I have had during my three weeks of travelling in Italy. It was a huge disappointment."

"The hotel is 2 kilometers around the hotel. It belongs to the city center. Every day, you can hear the bells of the central church. The corridor is not very good. The room is small, but all the facilities inside are very new, and there are 2 windows. The windows are particularly interesting. The sound insulation is not very good, the front desk lady Francesca is very beautiful and very warm, people are kind"

"Love this hotel, location, service and friendliness. The location is near the train station and the lake. We arrived earlier than hotel check in time, but since the room has ready, they allow us to check in earlier. Very appreciate especially since we've just travelled from Milan. We're renting a bike, and they allow us to put the bike inside the garage. We had a situation having wet pantsuit, since they don't have a laundry service they borrowed us an ironing and it helps.. Will stay again if we're going back to Colico"

"My daughter and I had a splendid stay at the Palace Hotel Lake Como, which is a historic and elegant property on the lakefront. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beautiful Como Cathedral and the charming old town. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with an open and lovely view. The breakfast was delicious and varied, even with smoked salmon for breakfast, coffee was excellent. The staff was courteous and attentive, and made us feel at home. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing vacation in Como!"
