The hotel environment is really nice, and there are many foreigners staying here too. The afternoon tea looks great, and the breakfast is abundant, with particularly good pastries. I went for a swim after 8 PM; the pool isn't huge, but the water quality is very clean, and almost no one else was there, which made for a very comfortable swim. Highly recommend.

I chose the Intercity Hotel Hongqiao Airport Exhibition Center for this trip for two reasons: firstly, for travel flexibility, as my high-speed train arrival time at Hongqiao was uncertain and could be very late; and secondly, for the convenience of taking the suburban railway to Pudong Airport for my flight. Before the trip, I was already somewhat prepared for the complex route between the Hongqiao Hub and the hotel. 'Front desk agent Xiao Dong' provided guidance via phone and WeChat, giving my family and me a great sense of security and confidence – I'm truly grateful to her. The hotel's front desk and housekeeping services were excellent. Coupled with the fact that it's a brand-new hotel without the smell of new renovations and boasts an unbeatable location, I saw a 'full house' sign at the front desk during my stay, which is truly well-deserved. From the hotel, you take the elevator down to 3F, turn right, then right again, then right again along the wall, and you'll reach the suburban railway security check area. After security, take the escalator down, and you can board the train. This means you can get to Pudong Airport just a few steps from the hotel, which is incredibly convenient! Here’s a tip based on a past mistake, for your reference: When you exit the turnstile from Metro Line 2/10, the suburban railway is to your left, and the terminal building is to your right. You need to go towards the suburban railway. If you see a one-way turnstile, it means you've gone the wrong way. Turn back immediately, don't hesitate! Otherwise, you'll have to walk around the perimeters of various security areas just to see the hotel sign again. I vaguely felt that if you could find the suburban railway signs, you could also find the hotel sign/entrance. The downside is that food and drinks at the Hongqiao Hub are a bit pricey. Also, many delivery drivers are unfamiliar with the delivery routes. During my stay, out of three food deliveries, only one driver delivered directly. One asked me (I didn't know where electric bikes could park or how to deliver without entering restricted areas), and one gave up after being unable to reach anyone. Over time, more delivery drivers will likely become familiar with the routes, so please be a bit more patient. One more thing: getting to areas like the Bund and Jing'an in the city center requires 7 to 10 metro stops, which is a bit far. If you have time to adjust your schedule, it's not bad (I followed the trend and went to Jing'an Kerry to take photos of 'Summer Fishing'). Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Our 2nd stay back here! The hotel is connected to Songhong metro via the shopping mall, to note that the gates to the mall closes at approximately 10/1030pm, take the lift next to the mall exit and you can navigate from here. They also have breakfast options delivered to your door step if breakfast is selected in your package. Alternatively, head to one of the many coffee spots in the mall connected - like Ora Coffee, Manner, LuckIn etc. Robot service available and you can send your parcels here ahead of time for collection - the hotel front desk will also drop your parcels at your door if all details are labelled correctly. Room was clean and the washer dryer is exceptionally helpful for us. Late check out is also allowed if the room is available. Overall great stay! Will definitely return - it is also an easy route to either Hong Qiao airport / train station or Pudong international airport, very convenient!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Celine from the staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. The hotel's ambiance is elegant, and our room had excellent lighting and was spotlessly clean with no strange odors. We felt completely comfortable and at ease, making it a place we'd definitely return to! The facilities are comprehensive and modern, with ample hot water and consistent water pressure. This hotel truly excels in attention to detail! Highly recommended!

This hotel is conveniently located near Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1, which is perfect for guests arriving on late flights at that terminal. It's also not too far from the subway station, just a pleasant 10-minute walk. There are some ramen shops and other snacks nearby, which is a nice bonus. The hotel itself is a bit older, with a vibe from about 20 years ago, but the rooms have been renovated, and the hot water and air conditioning work great. You'll see a lot of airline crew here, and the breakfast on the first floor is very substantial. Front desk staff Xiao Yuan and Xiao Gao were very friendly and efficient with the check-in process!

I booked the room last minute and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, location, and ambiance. We stayed during a heavy rainstorm in Shanghai, but the hotel was conveniently located near the airport, high-speed train station, and major attractions. The room was clean and bright, and the breakfast was abundant. My husband even managed to get a simple breakfast to go after his morning run. Based on this great experience, I decided to book a Mercure hotel for our next stop in Suzhou, but unfortunately, the service and rooms there were a stark contrast to our wonderful stay in Shanghai.

I chose this hotel for my business trip to Shanghai, and its location is truly excellent. It's about a 5-6 minute walk to Loushanguan Road Station on Metro Line 2, making it convenient to get anywhere. Taxis are also straightforward, with quick access to the Inner Ring Elevated Road. I stayed in a king room with a garden view, and the window overlooked rooftop greenery, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The room had great natural light, and the Hyatt bedding was, as always, incredibly comfortable. Right downstairs is Hongqiao Nanfeng City, so you don't have to go far for food or shopping. Jinqiao International Business Plaza and Parkson UOKO are also within walking distance. There are tons of dining options at night (don't miss the row of Japanese restaurants on Xianxia Road!). Check-in at the front desk was efficient. Overall, it's clean and hassle-free, with everything you need for a business trip. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changning. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this hostel! The location is unbeatable, just a 400-meter walk to Weining Road Metro Station, making transfers and getting around incredibly convenient. Right outside, you'll find Binggu Plaza, which has everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping, so you don't have to go far for meals or leisure. The interior design is trendy and minimalist, with a futuristic vibe. The common areas are clean and bright, and the bathrooms are regularly cleaned with no unpleasant odors. Each bed comes with a private blackout curtain, a USB charging port, and a reading light. When you pull the curtain, it creates your own private space, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The bedding is changed for every guest, making for a great sleeping experience, and the price is very affordable. The front desk staff are kind and patient. It's perfect whether you're traveling solo, on a short business trip, or a student needing temporary accommodation. Overall, it's a five-star experience that's definitely worth recommending!

The cleaning staff were very friendly and the front desk was very helpful. The room was super clean and well-equipped, and the soundproofing was excellent. Highly recommend! The breakfast selection was also quite rich, with both Western and Chinese options to choose from, or you could have it delivered to your room. The hotel's location is fantastic, with many delicious Japanese restaurants in the basement of Takashimaya, right next to a Japanese supermarket.

This hotel was recommended by a friend. The location is very convenient, only a few kilometers from both the high-speed train station and the airport, so it's easily accessible by taxi. The whole place feels very new, likely having opened not long ago. The facilities are comprehensive, and the soundproofing is quite good. Everything is very clean. If you have a flight the next day, this place is definitely worth considering.
