The hotel's location is excellent, and the environment is clean and comfortable. The room is spacious and bright, with a nice view outside the window. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and helpful, making both check-in and check-out a smooth process. The hotel is about a 25-30 minute drive from Hongqiao Airport T2, which is very convenient for travel. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and you can even walk to Laowai Street. As this was a business trip, my time was tight, so I didn't get to fully experience the hotel's facilities or the surrounding attractions. Overall, it was a great experience and highly recommended. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Shanghai!

Honestly, I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but I decided to experience it myself. My experience was actually great. It's a bit of a walk to the subway, but there's a bus stop right outside that takes you one stop to Loushanguan Road Station on Line 2, or you can just use a shared bike. The room was quite spacious, with a balcony and a washing machine. The front desk even provides laundry detergent, which is super convenient. The main selling point is the price, especially for someone like me who doesn't need breakfast; booking without it makes it even cheaper, which is perfect.

The rooftop garden is the absolute best part—sitting up there at night, feeling the breeze and stargazing, it's so relaxing I didn't want to leave. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the faucets are gleaming. Even though it's on a busy street, the double-glazed windows provide excellent soundproofing. Plus, the hallways are adorned with local photography – the attention to detail is just superb. I'd come back again just for the atmosphere!

In addition, there is a large shopping mall directly opposite the hotel, offering plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. With these amenities so close by, the hotel is within easy reach of almost everything a business traveler might need during their stay. During my visit, my spouse and son accompanied me, and the room setup worked out very well for our small family. The sofa bed provided in the room made it comfortable enough to accommodate three people without feeling cramped. The room itself was spacious, well-organized, and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another highlight of the hotel is the excellent service from the staff. The housekeeping team was consistently friendly and attentive, ensuring the room was well maintained each day. The reception staff were also polite, welcoming, and professional, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Overall, the combination of a great location, comfortable rooms, and attentive service made our stay at Hyatt Place Shanghai Tianshan Plaza a very enjoyable experience.

Booked a suite for two nights again this time. Front desk manager Xu upgraded us to a newly renovated Swiss suite. It's a spacious and comfortable one-bedroom apartment with a living room, and a fully equipped kitchen including a fridge, washing machine, and microwave. From the window, Nan Fung City, Shum Kai Centre, and Gubei International Plaza are all within easy reach. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and transportation is very convenient. The executive lounge on the 30th floor was staffed by Wally, a friendly young man from Shanghai who provided excellent service. On a side note, I actually prefer rooms on lower floors. This is an old-school five-star hotel with a grand ambiance. While the decor is a bit vintage, all the room facilities are complete. It's a different kind of experience, but all in all, it was a good fit and great value for money.
