MM489593****I was very satisfied with my stay, though it's a pity it was only for one night. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I will definitely choose this hotel again. The service was excellent, and the room was arguably the largest I've stayed in during my visits to Barcelona. It's located on Passeig de Gràcia, making shopping incredibly convenient. As a welcome gift, they offered chocolate cookies and cava – and really, how can you go to Spain and not drink cava? Breakfast was also very good and plentiful; the ham was absolutely delicious!

2230301****The location is superb, right on Passeig de Gràcia, just a 5-minute walk to Casa Batlló. Various luxury brand stores are right downstairs. There are also all sorts of small shops on the side streets, catering to every shopping need.
The concierge service was excellent; they proactively helped with luggage and always greeted us with a friendly 'hello.'
The breakfast restaurant offers a semi-buffet style, and the à la carte portions are incredibly generous. We didn't realize this on the first day and ordered too much. I suggest the restaurant staff could advise guests about the portion sizes.
The room itself was standard, but I was in a connecting room on the 2nd floor. Every morning and evening, when people upstairs took showers, I could hear very loud pipe noises, which significantly disturbed my rest.
Finally, some items in the mini-bar are complimentary, but the staff didn't replenish them proactively daily. We also had to specifically call for the daily complimentary bottled water for the room, which wasn't a great experience.

The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive. Although the room is not big, it is very comfortable. The only drawback is that I personally think the pillow is too soft. In addition, the faucet of the sink is a bit close, and the water will easily splash out if it is turned on a little.
Breakfast is a la carte and tastes very good.

GGuest UserIt's a pretty good hotel, especially if you're traveling by car. It's conveniently located close to the airport, and the city center is only about a 10-minute drive away.
The rooms are quite spacious and look clean.
Breakfast was quite hearty, with options like hash browns and pancakes, and everything tasted good.
It's worth noting that all the elevators in this hotel are panoramic elevators, so those with a fear of heights should be aware.

MMbali ThusiThe hotel is in a great area close to the city centre and shopping Square and also close to the Metro and bus lines. The staff are very nice and amenities are good. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe in this hotel especially because it’s a LGBTQ+ but hetero friendly hotel. The beds are comfortable just be aware that the shower is see-through so if you’re sharing you will likely see the person taking a shower. The pool was also very nice for chilling in after a very long day of exploring. Just be careful of removing anything in the minibar. I removed some of the things and placed them on the table because I wanted to use the fridge to put my food and drinks that I bought myself . I unfortunately almost got charged for the things that I removed from the mini bar fridge even though I hadn’t consumed them. I did however explain to the receptionist that I returned all the drinks in the mini bar as I hadn’t consumed them.Overall I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

LLidaxiaoThe staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and efficient. They even went above and beyond, helping us switch to a room with a great view, and we were delighted to find complimentary welcome chocolates there. Our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious.
However, the hotel is somewhat distant from the main tourist attractions. On our first night, returning late by bus, we had a rather unsettling experience witnessing someone smashing a car. Because of this, I'd strongly advise guests to try and head back earlier in the evenings. That said, the public bus system is very convenient, with many direct routes to attractions, which makes it a decent choice overall.

AAnonymous UserSuper awesome! I booked a suite for three nights with my kids and upgraded to a suite with a view of Casa Batlló. The surprise was that I caught the light show of Casa Batlló on the last night. I could see the light show directly on the terrace of the room without having to go to the street to watch it. It was so awesome!
The room was big and full of details. The fruits delivered every night were very rich. Champagne and cake were also delivered on the first night!
Mandarin Oriental should be the best hotel in Barcelona. We walked to the three Gaudi attractions and Passeig de Gràcia was very easy to visit.
I will definitely stay at Mandarin Oriental next time I come to Barcelona!

GGuest UserWe ended up in this hotel because there was a problem with our pre-booked hotel. They try to clean the rooms well, I liked it, a nice, pleasant reception, thank you! I just didn't like the elderly man serving breakfast. On the first day, when I came for breakfast (I assumed that breakfast was included, because when changing hotels, the other parameters should not have changed), this man quite rudely asked me to leave, because breakfast was not included. It was unpleasant, he demonstrated everything as if he was trying to steal breakfast. And as a result, they save on champagne at breakfast. They put one bottle and do not change it for a very long time, after the previous one is finished (we still went to breakfast on the following days)

GGuest UserEverything were good, except air-conditioning, it only have fan ventilation therefore the room was very hot, show on the thermostat was 27-28 degrees during day time, night time had to turn on the fan, even outside temperature was 16-18 degree. Bed is a bit hard for me.

From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!
