Huajiaojiang101We stayed at the boss's house for three days on the recommendation of a friend. The boss and his family were very nice and they had a lot of luggage, so we had to carry it all for us. The boss's house is high up in the stockade, with a 360-degree view of the whole stockade. The scenery is better and quieter than living below. In the past three days, I have tasted the boss's menu all over. I am a picky Sichuanese and I think the craftsmanship is so good. I have three meals a day at the boss's place. Even when I go down the mountain to play, my family will not eat anything from outside. Come back and eat the boss's food. Every morning I wake up to the crowing of the rooster, go for a walk in the fields, and eat a bowl of the boss’s tomato scrambled egg noodles. Both husband and wife are hard-working people. We are grateful for meeting each other and wish the business a prosperous future!

QianxixinliangI visited Xijiang during the Dragon Boat Festival. This inn is conveniently located not far from Xiaobei Gate, tucked away in an alley next to the museum. There aren't many stairs to climb, and it's very close to the main street. Both the hallways and the rooms in the inn looked very clean. Our room had a balcony, though unfortunately, the view was blocked by the building in front. However, the standard room had two 1.5-meter beds, which was perfect for a family stay. The owners of the inn were incredibly warm and hospitable. The owner even came to pick up our luggage when we arrived at Xiaobei Gate. The next day, I felt a bit shy asking him to drop us off again, so we just walked back to Xiaobei Gate ourselves. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Guest UserI stayed for 3 nights in the Xijiang Miao Village and I'm very glad I chose this place as my accommodation. On arrival the boss gives a very comprehensive overview of the village and its attractions and encourages you to contact her via WeChat with any queries! The husband also recommended a nearby hot pot restaurant for dinner where I met a brother and sister from Chongqing, which led to a drunken night of spicy food, karaoke, and me wandering through the village without shoes or a shirt 😂 - 10/10 dinner recommendation!
The room was spacious, tidy and had all of the necessary features of a hotel room. It has a very nice family feel, and I often would see the owners' family enjoying dinner or playing with their children which creates a very calm and safe atmosphere! Water is provided (not every hotel does this!) and they are also happy to offer some of their delicious rice wine :)
The night before I left, I asked for information on bus tickets to Kaili and the husband even booked it on my behalf, so helpful! I highly recommend this accommodation to anybody staying in the village.

Anonymous UserIt was our first time visiting here, and we booked a homestay run by a local family. We spent two wonderful nights in this traditional Miao stilt house.
The host met us near the North Gate and looked after us incredibly well throughout our stay. They introduced us to local Miao customs and traditions. Even with the language barrier, their warmth never faded. They treated us to classic local sour fish hot pot and let us try traditional ethnic costumes.
Every night, we admired the breathtaking sea of twinkling lights covering thousands of Miao households right from our private balcony. What touched us most was the hostess—she even escorted us out of the scenic area at 2 a.m. and helped us get a taxi to the airport. We are truly grateful! Wishing the hosts every prosperity!
Among all these countless glowing lanterns, there is one light that feels like I lit myself.

This trip to Kaili was originally planned to include the Miao Village of a Thousand Households, but due to traffic congestion, we decided to go to Langde instead. I'm so glad I chose the Ru Ni Suo Yuan B&B. The B&B was reasonably priced, a real bargain considering the skyrocketing hotel prices in Guizhou. The location was excellent, convenient for getting around, very close to the sightseeing bus stop, and directly opposite the first row of the twelve traditional Miao banquet halls. The balcony had a beautiful balustrade with stunning views. The twin room had two 1.5-meter double beds with mattresses of just the right firmness, making for a very comfortable sleep. I slept soundly until morning. The bathroom had a smart toilet, a stable hot water supply in the shower, and free disposable towels and toilet seat covers—very clean and hygienic. What touched me most was the owner's meticulous care. The owner personally helped us with our luggage during check-in and check-out, enthusiastically recommended local delicacies, and after watching the Miao village performance at noon, I suffered from heatstroke. The owner kindly extended my check-out time and even gave me two bottles of water before I left. I was extremely grateful. It wasn't just the owner's family; the Miao villagers were incredibly hospitable. Near the performance area, there was a place with delicious and generous portions of shaved ice. An auntie invited me to her home for dinner and rice wine. In the evening, while strolling around the village, a Miao grandmother, worried we might get lost, proactively asked if we had any difficulties. The young lady at the photo studio was warm and talkative, sharing many interesting stories… The twelve rounds of welcoming wine and the song and dance performances were spectacular and full of ethnic charm. In short, this trip to Langde was very enjoyable, and I will definitely come back again in the future.

Ivy_Oh1. This hotel is located at the left side of the river and the luggage cart/trolley can't be used and will have to hand carry over. Thanks to the hotel boss for helping us to carry to/fro.
2. My room was at 3rd floor but I was not able to see the river but the rooftop. Whoever wanted to see the river will have to get a even higher floor.
3. Room was spacious with minimum amenities
4. No separated wet and dry toilet, no space in the toilet for hanging your towel / cloth
5. No breakfast option and no laundry facility on-site as well

The bedding in the hotel is very comfortable. The Jinkoer brand mattress is very comfortable. The room price of a few hundred yuan can get the quality of a hotel worth two to three thousand yuan. It is very affordable. When you go to the hotel, you will be shown the room and you can choose by yourself. There are ones close to the street and those close to the courtyard. You can choose. The hotel service is also very good. It sent out travel guides which are very considerate. There are also free rentals of traditional Miao costumes at the hotel. The boss is so enthusiastic, I wish the boss a fortune😘😘

Guest User”The service was attentive, the scenery was soothing, and it exceeded my expectations!” My family and everyone, from the elderly to the children, raved about our stay. The guesthouse has a fantastic location; although it's halfway up a mountain, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was very convenient. Our family room was spacious, clean, and offered unbeatable views! The attention to detail was excellent, making it a truly unforgettable experience – five stars!

The room was clean and tidy. The boss personally picked us up at the station. The view in the room was particularly beautiful. The mountains in the distance were shrouded in clouds and mist, and the entire village was in sight. The view was even better at night! You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while lying in bed in the morning, it’s like a fairyland!
