"I specifically chose to travel in May, avoiding public holidays, and the experience was exceptionally pleasant. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the observation deck, and the scenic shuttle bus stop is very close by. I didn't have to drag my luggage for a long distance, which was a relief since I initially read guides saying it would be exhausting carrying bags. Here, you don't have to worry about that at all. The owner was incredibly welcoming and even came to pick me up personally. They also provided tips on how to explore the area. The room offered a spectacular view; opening the window revealed the entire Miao village. The room was clean and tidy. Being on the mountaintop, it was also quiet, allowing me to sleep in until I naturally woke up. During the day, the shuttle bus was nearby, making it easy to head down the mountain for sightseeing and photos. As night fell, I enjoyed a local specialty drink, accompanied by the beautiful nightscape of the Miao village. Such leisurely and comfortable moments were truly enchanting."

The room had an expansive view; opening the window revealed a beautiful landscape, maximizing the scenic experience. "The room was easy to find, right below the observation deck. The owner came to pick us up and even helped with our bags. I was traveling with elderly family and children, so it was convenient to just take the sightseeing car to the observation deck. Staying high up, you get a great view. The night view was beautiful; you could see the performance area. We sat on the balcony at night enjoying the view, and woke up to beautiful scenery in the morning too. Coming during the off-season meant fewer crowds and comfortable weather, not too hot. I'd definitely come back again. The owner even has a special photo spot for guests, with props like 'climbing onto the roof' and another where someone is lying down – it was really cool and a great photo op. I highly recommend staying here. The guesthouse was very clean. It was great not having to squeeze with the crowds at the observation deck."

"Beautiful hotel, nice and spacious room, great location and excellent staff. The location is close to a park, the pedestrian street if you want street food and near a mall if you want some more upscale food options. Easy to find and get a taxi/didi to anywhere you need to go. Our room had a separate living room and 2 bathrooms, with good views of the city. We had a couple requests that the staff graciously accommodated. If we come back to Kaili, we will choose this hotel again!"

"Facilities: Although it's an older hotel, it's very good overall. Cleanliness: The hygiene is very good. Environment: It's relatively quiet, and the location is easy to find. Service: The service attitude is excellent, and they even gifted us some special rice. I especially want to praise the breakfast – it's incredibly rich and plentiful, and it's served until noon. The breakfast is quite distinctive, even featuring the unique Kaili sour soup, which was fantastic! I was very satisfied with the breakfast."

"After booking the hotel, the staff proactively contacted us with directions. Once we reached Bridge No. 1, a friendly young man met us and helped us with our luggage all the way to our room – he worked so hard! The hotel just opened this year, and since we visited during the off-season, the owner upgraded our room. The environment is fantastic, and the room was incredibly comfortable, featuring a balcony with panoramic views of the Miao village. All toiletries were disposable. They even thoughtfully provided a toilet seat cover, and the toilet itself was a smart toilet, which I really appreciated. The shower pressure was great, and there was plenty of hot water. There was a little corner for drying clothes that made me feel right at home, and the balcony also had a drying rack. The small balcony was a perfect spot to sit and soak in the atmosphere. Waking up to such a beautiful view right outside the window was truly delightful! These are my personal feelings – it was genuinely very comfortable, and the service was excellent. Seriously, you can't go wrong choosing this place!"

The location of this guesthouse is a 5minute walk away from the main streets - very easy to access, as well a perfect distance to get a break from the bustle."

"This trip to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village was a real find! This B&B is nestled in the mountains, and opening the window reveals an endless panorama of green hills and staggered stilt houses – truly a healing and tranquil natural landscape. The location is a huge plus; it's very close to the main scenic area road and transportation hubs, making it super convenient to explore the village and get in and out of the area without long detours or steep climbs. The most heartwarming part was the incredibly genuine owner. We had a lot of luggage, and he proactively helped us carry it up and down, saving us the fatigue of hauling heavy bags up the mountain. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The room was clean and tidy, and the mountain air was fresh. During the day, we watched the misty mountain views, and in the evening, we enjoyed the glittering lights of the Miao Village. The overall atmosphere of our stay was perfect. It's excellent value for money. Staying here in Xijiang was absolutely spot-on, no regrets at all. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!"
