A mountain stream flows outside the room window; due to heavy rain the day before, the water flow was quite strong on the day of arrival. I woke up to the sound of flowing water and birdsong. A short walk took me to the viewing platform to see the sea of ​​clouds. The landlady slaughtered a chicken fresh that day, and the vegetables were just picked from the fields – the ingredients were fresh and delicious. A very satisfying stay!

It's also about a 60 minute hike (1.8km) to a great scenic spot called Qixingdun. You can pay more money if you want to stay in one of the top room floors with better views of the village below. One thing that can be improved is the small bathrooms which can be designed better. Also, it can get loud if families are staying because the kids can scream.

The guesthouse is run by two young men. The rooms were stylishly designed, warmly decorated, clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The young men were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. They were considerate yet unobtrusive, showing attention to detail in every aspect. There's a large barbecue and camping area where you can buy local ingredients to try – absolutely wonderful!
