This hotel is quite good for Bangladesh standards. It has a rooftop pool and gym, and the breakfast is excellent. The facilities are a bit old, and the room was a little small.

Stayed 3 nights and it was a flawless experience from start to finish. Booking the airport transfer through the hotel was so easy, and the driver was waiting for us right after baggage claim — a perfect first impression. The entire team, from the front desk to the restaurant, is top-notch: attentive, helpful, and always smiling. Knowing we were in the secure embassy area let us relax completely. And with the enormous breakfast spread offering new discoveries every day, we were fueled and ready to explore. For a stress-free visit to Dhaka, this hotel has it all figured out.

Good location and 10 mins walk away from great eating places and some shopping. The room was large enough for two and the breakfast very decent and tasty. The gym could be better equipped tho, a lot of the machines were not functioning.

We had a wonderful stay at Ascott Residence Dhaka. Special thanks to Mr. Bashar for providing excellent service and warm hospitality throughout our stay. He was professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Truly made our experience comfortable and memorable.

I arrived in Dhaka late at night and stayed for one night. I had pre-booked a paid airport transfer, and they gave clear instructions on where the driver would be waiting, so meeting up was very smooth. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet with both Western and Bangladeshi options. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

An overall good hotel that needs some attention and renovation. Breakfast was great with lots of options, staff were always friendly and attentive, airport taxi is seriously overpriced at 20 USD (we didn’t take it), bed and bedding were very comfortable, the cord of the shower head was very short and the water pressure could be better, hallways were a little dirty, bar on the second floor smells like old cigarettes, rooftop was quite nice with a pool, doors and lighting felt a little old, too many light switches and it was always unclear which controls what light, deluxe king room felt smaller and the bed definitely wasn’t king size, room service was great with flexible and diligent service, complementary welcome drinks, fruits and two large bottles of water per day. Wouldn’t recommend getting beer at their restaurant as the menu prices (300 TK for a Hunter) are different from their actual prices (700 TK) and they’re not very honest about this gap.

at first they gave me wrong room which is downgraded from double to singgle room, i check in at 2 in the morning is quite disappointing bcs i can't sleep at all bcs the bed are way to small for both of us, i want change the room immediately but they said it's no available for double deluxe room (type room that i booked). and the next day finally they change our room but still you have to pay attention next time about this things. water heater didn't work i can tolerate bcs the weather are still hot any way, the breakfast are good, friendly staff quite location and safe. thx

Dear Trip.com Support, I would like to raise a formal complaint regarding my recent hotel stay booked through your platform. During breakfast at the hotel, I found an insect/ant in my food, which was extremely disturbing and unacceptable from a hygiene and food safety perspective. I immediately informed the hotel staff, and while they replaced the food, the incident completely ruined my dining experience and caused serious concern about the hotel’s cleanliness standards. I booked this stay expecting proper hygiene and quality service, but this experience was very disappointing and uncomfortable. I have attached/photo evidence of the issue. Considering the unpleasant experience and health concern caused, I request appropriate compensation or resolution from your side. Please investigate this matter and update me as soon as possible. Really good service! The room was tidy, well-maintained, and the amenities were good! The entertainment system was better than most of the places I’ve stayed in Dhaka. Staff were really professional. Great food! In total, worth the price!
