EepiceIt was better than the Marriott at Seattle Airport in many ways, except that the Wi-Fi was still unusable without registration, and although the breakfast was delicious, it was confusing that each room was given a $50 credit, and any amount exceeding that, including taxes and tips, had to be paid by the guest, but the final charge was confusing. In short, it was a mess of accounts, but fortunately the amount involved was not large.

KKathyWe loved our experience at The Dorian! Room was beautiful with so many details covered. Bathroom was huge (hard to find these days) and we especially loved the details in the wet bar cart. Service was friendly from check in to check out. We did not eat on site, but the location was in walking distance to our dinner date. Only negative was the cleaning staff talking loudly in the hallway at 9 am for about 20 minutes. I should have let them know their voices carried into our room, but instead didn't say anything...I regret that after the fact. All in all, we had a great time and will for sure book at the Dorian again!

AAegeansea9This hotel in Calgary offers incredible value for money! It was by far the most comfortable stay I had throughout my entire trip in Canada. The facilities are new, the rooms are spacious, and the decor is elegant and tasteful. They even have a gym. The service was very welcoming, though the restaurant food was quite average – but then again, Chinese palates can be hard to please! The best part was the long row of charging desks in the lobby. For someone like me, who had half a day to kill before heading to the airport and needed to work on my laptop, it was absolutely perfect! The hotel is also just a 100-meter walk from Caesar's Steak House, a famous old steakhouse in Calgary. If you're interested, it's worth checking out. This hotel gave my Canadian trip a wonderful ending! (Although I did encounter some truly disgusting and over-the-top hotels along the way – like the Glacier View Lodge by the Columbia Icefield on the Icefields Parkway near Jasper. They severely discriminated against Chinese people, and the staff were incredibly rude and aggressive, telling guests to get out of their hotel late at night in freezing weather! I'd advise everyone to avoid it.)

KKingCowStaff members were helpful. Patio accessed from room was very cosy and pleasantly set up.
A gentle reminder that the bathtub/shower floor was extremely slippery, to the point of being potentially hazardous when in use.
Lighting in room a bit weak to our liking; some dust on the reading lamp on the desk yet to be cleaned.

TTLocation strategic as there are fewer homeless people around compared with the 7th Avenue or core shopping area, and I didn't feel unsafe during my stay. It's near Chinatown too. I however do not particularly like this hotel as there's no kettle inside the room, air conditioning is rather strong and couldn't be adjusted except the temperature. Nothing to eat nearby and the restaurant on 2/F requires booking. The hotel doesn't have a character itself. Most ridiculous is that they require a security deposit by really debiting my credit card upon my checkin (usually hotels won't present the card for similar deposit as security).

GGuest UserThe checkin went very smoothly and my room was clean and spacious. It was very convenient to the Calgary Airport. Although it was connected I only found the bridge way that lead to the parking garage and then found entrance to hotel. When you walk out the hotel front door you can see the entrance to the airport. You can reach the entrance in less than a minute. I will definitely stay again when in Calgary. I especially love the added security of needed my room keycard to operate the elevators. There is a phone near the elevator should you lock yourself out.

MMichelle BillingtonI always enjoy my stay at Deerfoot Inn & Casino. The purpose of my trip was to hang out with my sister and catch up on our lives. The deluxe queen room was spacious and welcoming. I found a stain on the top sheet when the cover topper fell away. Just looked like a coffee stain, but jeez?! We went down to the buffet for supper, and the prime rib and scalloped potatoes were delicious, as well as the other entries. After we ate, we sat in the lounge next to the restaurant. I loved the big, comfortable chairs we chose to sit on. When I got up to use the ladies' room, my hips were out of sorts for several steps because the chairs are sitting too low. May I suggest they update the furniture as I noticed other older guests having the same issue.

孙孙Did not eat breakfast, but the lunch on the first floor restaurant was ok, the room was large, the double room seemed to allow four people, because the four of us opened two rooms, the front desk started to make a mistake and thought we were one Room, and then gave us four room cards, did not say nothing wrong, and later learned that it is two rooms. There is a small swimming pool on the first floor, and the environment is ok. The double beds in the double room are large, with a balcony, a coffee machine, and hygiene. You can see Calgary Tower when you go out. It takes about five or six minutes to walk.
