"Perfect stay, clean huge room, comfy huge king bed, friendly frontdesk ladies for check in and out, toiletries from crabtree & evelyn smell really good, towels, full length mirror, safety box, coffee machine etc all in. Free cookies on check in and it’s so yummy and timely. Responsive reply to email, held the room for us for super late check-in. Free parking, within 15 min drive to Calgary airport. Offers shuttle at $5 as well. Second time staying and will always be our go-to when we fly! Trip.com offered the best price after coins off, great!"

The hotel's location in the city center was extremely convenient; all the city hotspots I wanted to visit were within walking distance. All in all, it was excellent. "Was there for one night. Reached there early in the morning and left around 10am. Was upgraded and happy with the room. Breakfast was good too. Only feedback is the quality of the towels and bedding items, which we felt can be improved."

"The presence of many homeless people nearby made me reluctant to go out at night. The hotel was conveniently located near the 8th Street C-Train station, and it was easy to use the free zone within downtown. It's situated at the western end of downtown, while most major city facilities are to the east. There are plenty of Tim Hortons, convenience stores, and other restaurants nearby, and it's close to the riverside, which is great for walks. The hotel only has a pool and a gym; there's no breakfast service. The room atmosphere was generally dark, and the facilities felt a bit dated. The room itself was spacious, with a separate bedroom and living area. The bedding was comfortable. Although I could hear the train passing, it wasn't disruptive enough to affect my sleep. The view was of the office building across the street, so I couldn't really keep the curtains open. There's a mini-kitchen, but it's barely stocked with cooking utensils. They don't provide complimentary bottled water; you have to inconveniently ask for it at reception. Housekeeping also occasionally missed cleaning the room."

"The hotel has that classic luxury vibe but still feels warm and comfortable, not overly formal. Location was super convenient — easy to walk around downtown Calgary, restaurants, cafés, and shopping nearby. The room was spacious and cozy, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast service was excellent. Also loved the little details and the old historic atmosphere of the hotel."

"Stayed at the Holiday Inn Calgary Airport (IHG). The location is very convenient for the airport and surrounding routes, and the overall cleanliness of the property was excellent—both the rooms and common areas were well maintained. Amenities are fairly basic, so travellers expecting extensive facilities may find them somewhat limited. Unfortunately, the service was on the poorer end of the spectrum during my stay. One point future guests should be aware of: the booking information on the hotel’s website states that a deposit is required, but it does not clearly specify that this must be provided strictly via credit card. Staff indicated that this policy is standard at hotels worldwide; however, as an experienced traveller, I can confirm that many hotels do in fact accept debit cards for deposits. To avoid any issues at check-in, make sure you bring a credit card with you. Overall: great location and cleanliness, basic amenities, but service and clarity around deposit policies could certainly be improved."

"The room was spacious and clean, and it was really helpful that we could refill water and ice for free on each floor. Even though it was only for one night, I had a comfortable stay."

"That's a very friendly check-in in and I easily booked the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel until 12 am, also the front desk can fully understand what's the client needs and want to make it happen in their role. The room was very clean and the bed quality was good to rest. The hottub water so warm for relex shower and would like to recommend and stay it again."

"The hotel is conveniently located on the same floor as the departure terminal. The room was quite comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a separate shower. There are fast food options in the airport like Tim Hortons, Japanese food, burgers, and sandwiches, so you can grab breakfast there if it's not included with your stay. A quick complaint about WestJet's check-in speed: we waited in line for 40 minutes and the line barely moved. I had to shamelessly ask some foreigners if I could cut in front of them, otherwise, we would have missed our flight."
