**Transportation:** The hotel offers a dedicated shuttle service to popular attractions like the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel is also very close to the city center, and it only takes about 10 minutes to get around, making it super accessible.
**High-Quality Central Diffused Oxygen for 18 Hours:** The room comes with an 18-hour supply of medical-grade diffused oxygen, which is a lifesaver. It genuinely works wonders, highly recommended!
**Ambiance:** The hotel boasts a beautiful ******* manor-style design, complete with white stupas, golden prayer flags, and even traditional ******* clothing. You can take some stunning photos in the courtyard ā it's truly picturesque and authentic.
**Service:** Every staff member was incredibly warm and attentive. They offered us Rhodiola rosea hot drinks during check-in and consistently checked in on us to see if we were experiencing altitude sickness. They even provided recommendations for our itinerary, showing genuine care and helpfulness. Highly recommended!

JJonaswqIt's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.

GGuest UserFacilities: Very comprehensive, with an oxygen machine and a humidifier, which greatly alleviated altitude sickness.
Cleanliness: Excellent. I saw the staff meticulously cleaning the carpet, which made me feel safe. The bathroom and toilet were also very clean, with disposable toilet seats.
Environment: Convenient parking, perfect for self-driving trips. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, simple, nutritious, and not overly heavy. The breakfast buffet is open from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, so even if I'm feeling unwell and wake up late, I don't have to worry about missing breakfast.
Service: Xiaoluo, Suoqu, and Cangmujue were all very patient and welcoming, helping with mail and opening the door. Thank you.
I had a very good impression of the hotel. I stayed here last time I visited Lhasa, and I will definitely stay again next time.

AAilvxingdexiaxiaojieWhen I first arrived in Lhasa, I stayed at Jicai, primarily because of its cleanliness and its proximity to the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. My experience after checking in was excellent. After my trip to Nyingchi and MĆŖdog, I booked Jicai again. If you experience altitude sickness, the lobby provides an oxygen concentrator, and the rooms even have diffused oxygen supply.
I had wanted to try breakfast in Lhasa, so on my last day, I bought the hotel's breakfast and discovered their noodles (fen) are really good. I regretted not booking a room with breakfast included. If you're still debating whether to book breakfast, my advice is to go for it if you like sour and spicy noodles, because their breakfast noodles are delicious. Delicious, delicious!
Front desk service was good, and honestly, Jicai offers great value for money. Highly recommended.

MM30466****Traveling solo to Lhasa, I booked this hotel online because it's so close to the Potala Palace. I was pleasantly surprised that hotel staff even picked me up from the train station ā such a thoughtful touch! My room was located on the inner side facing the parking lot, so it was incredibly quiet. Walking in, I was blown away: fully smart AI controls throughout the room and even diffused oxygen! That's seriously impressive. The cleaning lady, noticing I was traveling alone, was so enthusiastic and recommended local delicacies and sightseeing routes. I have to say, the service at this hotel is truly outstanding; no wonder they're doing so well!

GGuest UserSatisfactory aspects: The room was nice and had ethnic characteristics; the hotel's location was excellent (we had a travel companion with mobility issues); the service and communication were very satisfactory (there was a third-party system error with another platform regarding room extensions, but the front desk staff were very patient in communicating with them, and the receptionist, Yangji, provided excellent service; the overall service quality was also very good); the breakfast was delicious and we were very satisfied; the room cleaning was also satisfactory.
-- The only unsatisfactory aspect was: the toothbrush bristles were shedding. After rinsing my mouth, 5 or 6 bristles got stuck between my teeth, and I had to stop and pull them out while rinsing. (Bringing your own toothbrush solved this problem.)
-- Suggestion: If possible, if the hotel renovates again, it could add features catering to younger travelers (such as self-service laundry and a self-service bar).
-- There are attractions downstairs, and you can walk to Namased Restaurant. It's conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to get around. The attached pictures show nearby attractions and restaurants.

GGuest UserThe room is very good, the facilities are complete, every time you stay, you also send snacks, eye masks, wipes and other small gifts, full of sincerity, the hotel is clean and hygienic. Especially the housekeeper Xiao Li and the front desk Xiaomi have a very good service attitude, responsive and very enthusiastic. Is a super cost-effective hotel!

GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
