"We feel annoying because someone wrip the floor at 0630 with a lot of noise. Extra bill when check out. A bill for dinner buffet which we did not attend. Your staff did not listen to us and insist we eat the buffet and they said CCTV can see us there. At the end, we wait for half hour and the did not show the CCTV and let us go. When we settle the bill for 2 dinners we have, the wifi connection is not good and your staff say they did not receive the pament and ask us the pay cash. At the end, we find the bill already settle by credit card. And we need to go back to the hotel and they still say hotel did not recieve the payment and ask us to check with our bank."

"Xanadu, quiet and comfortable. The service is thoughtful, the food is delicious and outrageous, the butler service is provided, and our butler is praised. When we see that the child does not get up for breakfast, we will take the initiative to prepare take-out. We will pick us up to Lion Rock at less than five o'clock in the morning. "This hotel exceeded my expectations; the price-performance ratio is amazing. Currently, the hotel only has 10 rooms, as the new area is still under construction and will be fully completed in 2027. The road to the hotel isn't easy to walk, but we even saw wild peacocks along the way. The hotel has a small garden with various fruits and vegetables, a small cabin, and a small jungle trail where you can shoot arrows. We casually strolled around and met some staff who gave us a tour, explaining the different fruits and vegetables – it was really interesting! They even offered to take us birdwatching the next morning, although there weren't many birds, haha, but the morning air was truly refreshing. At night, there were sounds from the rooftop, like some kind of animal running by, along with various bird calls – very natural. Breakfast is a set menu; we ordered the American and Continental options, and there wasn't much difference. The taste was just okay. Overall, a very satisfying stay, I would recommend it to friends, and if I have the chance to visit Sri Lanka again, I would definitely stay here."

"Set in a lovely, peaceful location beside the Kandalama Reservoir, Amaya Lake Dambulla offers a relaxing retreat within a large property with plenty of mature trees, giving the resort a natural and spacious feel. The property features a good range of amenities, with the swimming pools being especially refreshing after a long day exploring the surrounding area. The buffet breakfast offered a comprehensive selection, catering to a variety of tastes. The chalets were clean and reasonably well maintained, and the staff throughout the resort were warm and friendly."

"The hotel has a very friendly reception and exceptional service staff, which creates a very positive first impression. The pool area is lovely, surrounded by lush vegetation and equipped with hammocks perfect for relaxing in the sun. The path to the bungalows and small apartments is adorned with well-kept gardens, full of life, where you can observe squirrels and birds. This connection with nature makes the stay really special and enjoyable. The interior of the room is incredibly spacious, with two huge and very pretty beds. We appreciated the detail of the flowers that were left for us; it really adds a special and pleasant touch to the stay. It has a small terrace, which is perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the surroundings. Spending time there was great. The bathroom is also very spacious. As for breakfast, I think they should improve the Western options a bit to live up to the category of their facilities. It is a small sacrifice that they could easily improve. The only negative detail was the internet connection, which failed us on several occasions. We had to call reception twice to have the connection checked, which was a bit of a pain. However, it should be noted that the hotel is a bit far from the nightlife; you need to walk about 15 minutes along the road to reach the restaurants where you can dine. Despite this, the tranquility of the place makes up for the minor inconvenience. In short, the hotel's ambiance, along with its attention to detail and the natural beauty that surrounds it, all contribute to a memorable experience."

"The very warm and thoughtful service and rich breakfast will make you unbelievable that this is a great experience provided by a homestay! The wooden house in the tropical jungle is surrounded by the sound of birds and you can enjoy nature to your heart's content. The swings and hammocks at the door allow people to play as soon as possible. The sign at the door is not very obvious. There are several restaurants around, but I didn't find any restaurants that I was interested in."

"Located in Dumbulla town, convenient for visiting in the cultural triangle. Rooms are in wooden chalet style with space and well equipped. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Dinner buffet is at good level. Overall it’s a nice stay at this area."

"Booked the Danbulak Kandalam Heritage Hotel, but later said the hotel was full, let ’s change the hotel, changing the hotel we wanted before the trip was really uncomfortable at first, then Ctrip let us choose the hotel ourselves because of time I was nervous when I chose the water garden hotel, but I did n’t have much hope, but the staying experience was very good, the rooms are comfortable, the environment is quiet, you can overlook the Lion Rock. "The forest cabin is awesome, a completely different experience, a bit similar to the lame building, one person lives on two floors, don't be too cool, the night pillow wind and rain listen to the insects and birds sing, comfortable 10086++ hotel side worried that I would be afraid, repeatedly confirmed whether to change the room, the service is very considerate!
