"I arrived at Phi Phi by ferry from Phuket, and at the pier, someone was waiting with a sign bearing the hotel's name (he probably meets every ferry, as I didn't specify my arrival time). After a five-minute wait for all the tourists, we took a boat taxi to the hotel. They helped with the suitcases (loading them onto the boat), and the ride was about 5 minutes at most. Transfers to the hotel from the pier and back to the pier upon checkout are free. I received a room upgrade because my original room was occupied, but it was for the best. They gave me a spacious room, though it was at the very top. Getting there required some effort, walking uphill, but it's good to not just relax all the time! This was all compensated for by the amazing view of the pristine Long Beach. There's a steep path down to this beach right behind the building, but everyone uses it. The room was spotless, with 2 bottles of water daily, clean white linens, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a window overlooking the beach, and there was a hammock on the balcony. In the morning, a family of three monkeys visited me, so it's important to keep the doors closed and not leave things on the balcony. The baby monkey played with my swimsuit but must not have liked it, as he left it for me! It was beautiful; thinking back, I want to return. Breakfasts included scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheese, sausages, vegetables, bread, salad, pastries, fruits, and juices – pretty standard for Thailand, and everything was delicious. On the beach, there's sand, but to the left, there are rocks and corals. I snorkeled there (they provide masks, but I had my own). There were many fish of all sizes; the snorkeling was excellent. You can get to the pier by boat taxi, which costs 150 baht during the day and 250-300 baht after dark (you can haggle for the return trip at the pier). There's a 7/11 at the pier if you need to buy anything. In the evening, there's live music at the hotel restaurant, and on some days, they have fire shows. It's very quiet at the hotel in the evenings."

"This is a fabulous place to stay. It’s tucked away in the corner of a beautiful beach so it’s peaceful and chilled but still walking distance (5mins) to the main shops, cafes, bars and harbour of PhiPhi. The bamboo huts are very solid and appeared to be really well sealed so no bugs getting in and excellent at holding the cool air from the air conditioner inside. Very comfy bed, soft bed linen, good pillows, bathrobes, bottled water and good quality toiletries all provided. Gorgeous bathroom with great showers. Welcome drink and snacks provided in the room. The breakfast buffet was incredible- so much choice and everything was delicious. We also ate lunch here one day and dinner here one night and both were delicious, The swim up pool bar was a real treat with happy hour 2 for one cocktails from 3-5 as well as delicious smoothies ice cream and made to order sushi available. The pool is stunning of with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool towels supplied. Also possible to hire canoes and stand up paddle boards to take out on the bay. (1 hour included for free for all guests). The staff were lovely at all times. A delight to deal with at all times. Lastly yes you can hear the noise from the bar across the bay in the evenings from 10 to 2:30 am but the resort supplies ear plugs and we all slept perfectly fine every night. If you are sensitive to noise maybe bring some noise blocking ear plugs but don’t let that be the reason you miss out on staying in this stunning resort."

"My husband had a birthday, and we decided to celebrate it at this place. The room was clean, there were plenty of towels, but no kettle. It was quiet in the evenings and at night. During the day, of course, quite a lot of people gather at the beach and block the view 😂. The grounds are magnificent, and the beach is cleaned every morning. We had a first-line villa with a truly stunning view 😍. Breakfast was hearty and varied. We were the first ones at breakfast (7:30) and had the place to ourselves. An excellent place to recharge. I recommend it."

"The environment and scenery at Saii Phi Phi Island are absolutely stunning, no complaints there. However, getting there was quite a hassle. Definitely avoid arriving at the hotel in the afternoon. The shallow beach by the hotel entrance experiences a significant low tide, so the speedboat has to anchor quite far out at sea. You then have to transfer to a smaller boat, and still walk a long stretch of sandy beach. We waited on the sea from around 1 PM and didn't make it to the hotel until 3 PM. The check-in process was incredibly slow; we waited another hour and finally got into our room past 4 PM. There's no such issue when departing the island at midday, as the speedboat can dock directly at the hotel's small pier. The service was average, but breakfast was pretty good. We booked a spa session, and it offered decent value for money."

"I honestly don’t understand the number of negative reviews this hotel gets. Our experience was completely different, we had a fantastic stay. The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made everything even better. Yes, the property shows some signs of wear, but that’s normal for beachfront places unless you’re paying for high-end luxury. Considering the price, especially for rooms with a sea view, it actually feels like great value. The view from our room was incredible, the ocean with some greenery in between, peaceful and beautiful at any time of day. The air conditioning worked perfectly (which is essential in Phi Phi), and everything in the room functioned as it should. One thing to keep in mind is that reaching some rooms involves a fair amount of walking, sometimes under direct sun. This can be tiring, especially for people who are not in good physical condition or who are sensitive to heat. It may not be the best option for everyone in that regard. This is not a luxury resort, but it’s a solid, comfortable beachfront hotel that delivers more than fair value for what you pay. Overall, I’d say it’s one of the best options in Phi Phi in its price range, and far more enjoyable than many of the crowded, stuffy places in the center. We had a great time and would definitely stay again."

"First of all the picture of the beach is a COMPLETE SCAM, the place doesn’t look like this, must be a pic from maybe 20 years ago when phi phi was still not famous, their beach is packed with speed boats full with tourists, there’s no space to swim and it’s so loud and chaotic, not a place to chill or relax. They assigned me a room with not working AC after complaining 2 times they changed my room then AC worked great. Poor WiFi. At night when finally all the tourists and boats leave the beach, they start building huts so there’s not a second of calm or quietness I would never ever booked this hotel if i knew the picture is fake, their beach DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THAT!"

"I scoured through all the hotels on Koh Phi Phi before finally settling on this one. It was quite a journey – during the Chinese New Year, it showed no availability, and I even emailed the hotel to confirm they were fully booked. But then, one day, luck smiled upon me and a room suddenly appeared, which I immediately booked! The hotel isn't right by the pier, which is great as it avoids the noisy bars that go on till late, yet it's still close enough to the pier. It's a mere 10-minute walk for transport, going out for snorkeling, or diving. The hotel also offers its own half-day boat tours, with direct boarding from the beach right in front, which is super convenient and very reasonably priced. The environment is simply stunning – a tranquil and cozy tropical rainforest villa. The pool, breakfast restaurant, and beach are all beautiful. The staff are warm and friendly, and their attention to detail is evident everywhere. Looking at other reviews, besides one overly dramatic negative comment, all others are overwhelmingly positive. The only drawback was that the shower water was a bit cold. It's a shame I only stayed for two nights. You can get a more visual sense from the pictures."

"Great location if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. If you miss the hustle and bustle or want to visit the clubs, you can take a private taxi boat to Tonsai for about 1,000 THB one way. We stayed in the Ocean Sunset Room. Just a heads-up: it’s located on a hill, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Hotel has free buggy shuttle between 6:00-22:00. However, it's the perfect spot for sunset lovers since you can't actually see the sunset from the beach itself. Great value for couples! The private pool offers total privacy (perfect for swimming naked! :) )and an amazing view of the sun going down. The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony, but it felt a bit dated. The main issue was the water pressure in the shower - it was extremely low, which was disappointing considering the price. Breakfast was okay, pretty standard. If you’re looking for a great meal nearby, check out a local restaurant called 'Banyan' -delicious food, fair prices, and excellent service."

"This was a really cute bungalow on the beach, which added to our experience of staying on Phi Phi. However, the bed was rock hard and the air con kept switching itself off in the night so we kept waking up sweating! The light from it was also really bright so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. You can also hear the whole island from your hut, and a lot of the Thai residents were working at night nearby, so it was very noisy and required ear plugs! There were lots of little bugs in the woodwork mainly, the shower wasn’t great and got the bathroom very wet. Also, any trips or taxi boats were quite expensive from the woman at reception, we managed to get a 4hr private long tail for 2300baht total. A lot of these things were to be expected, and isn’t too much of a complaint against the resort itself, but something for you to bear in mind when choosing to stay here."

"I booked the Ocean Cliff Villa. I am was here on April 19th, and there were not alot people. They have a boat service that picks you up, and drops you off room the pier. There were maybe only 15 - 20 guest , and no kids were there 🙏🏿! The hotel is very excluded from the rest of the island, which is great if you enjoy calm, peace, and quiet. The room was very clean, and all amenities worked properly. (I like it cold, and the AC was very powerful). The WiFi in my room was strong. I streamed Netflix, watched the NBA playoffs, and facetimed my mama while I was here. The staff was very friendly. They always helped us with our bags, gave extra towels when needed, and would give us a ride up the hill if they saw us walking. The room I purchased was indeed up a slope so be very mindful of that if you have limitations. The breakfast was included in my room, and it was good. For lunch/Dinner I ordered chicken fried rice and beef pad thai. It was very good. I am also very greedy and I eat almost anything so I am not the best person to give a food review, lol. I only stayed on night and I am seriously considering adjusting my vacation schedule so I can come back before I return to the states. 1 night was not enough. If you want to party, please do not ome here, and disturb the peace. There are plenty of other places in Thailand for that. If you want to kick back, vibe, and relax this is your place."
