Great
RRodrigoBHere's a short review in English based on your notes: --- This hotel is beautiful and tranquil, set in a tropical environment with many open-air areas. You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option.

GGuest UserThe facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you will be woken up to the call of prayer frequently. I have no problem with people exercising there religious traditions I would just like a forewarning about being woken at 5AM to hear the it.

11856141****1. The room hygiene was good; every corner was clean, and the bedding, towels, bath towels, and beach towels were all spotless. However, the room itself was rundown. Some bath towels had torn edges but were still given to guests. 2. The room decor was worse than that of a roadside motel. But the mattress was quite comfortable, and I slept well for these three nights, so I didn't feel too unsettled. 3. I booked a partial sea-view room, and the view was great. Room 302. 4. Getting in and out of the room daily was difficult; either you waited for a car or walked up and down a super steep hill. If you needed a buggy for transport, it was common to wait 10-15 minutes during peak check-in or check-out times. 5. The hotel's included breakfast was incredibly bad. I mean, *incredibly* bad! My 8-year-old child was charged extra, and three breakfasts cost 1200 THB (approximately 270 CNY), so paying 90 CNY for such poor breakfast was unacceptable. 6. The hotel only accepted cash and credit cards. Alipay and WeChat Pay were not accepted. While WeChat and Alipay can usually scan Thai merchant QR codes, this hotel's Thai payment QR code was for a private account, so WeChat and Alipay couldn't be used, or it would require direct transfer to a private account. 7. Service was almost non-existent. Other hotels offered shuttle services to nearby beaches or Tonsai. This hotel offered nothing but one longtail boat transfer on arrival day and one on departure day. 8. The fire dance and light show mentioned on Trip.com were nowhere to be found. 9. The two swimming pools were very small. You could reach the end in half a breath. 10. Let me talk about the most disappointing aspect. The beach in front of the hotel was in terrible condition – coarse sand, many rocks, a steep slope, and a very short stretch of beach. During the day, it was packed with people sunbathing. You had to queue for the two swings. The coral bleaching was severe. It didn't offer the conditions for snorkeling right outside the door. The shark point was a certain distance from the shore and dangerous to swim to at low tide. At high tide, it was a longtail boat route, making it even more dangerous. The Lomudi Beach behind the hotel was long and gentle, requiring a 5-10 minute uphill and downhill walk from the hotel. Similarly, the coral bleaching was very severe and heartbreaking to see. Our family of three all brought snorkeling gear, but only my dad used it. My child and I just wandered along the shore. Summary: If this hotel cost 500 CNY, it would be okay to stay. But if it's 1500 CNY like I paid, definitely don't book it. It's completely overpriced and was the worst and most boring three days of my 8-day, 7-night Phuket trip. I went to Long Beach on Koh Phi Phi specifically for snorkeling opportunities without needing to go out on a boat, like in Koh Lipe, where you find starfish, sea urchins, stingrays, clownfish, various colorful fish, sea dragons, giant clams, and countless jellyfish along the coast. But Koh Phi Phi didn't have any of that. The same rocky and coral environment had very little marine life. The color of the sea also didn't justify the effort of coming here. Furthermore, eating and shopping on Long Beach were very inconvenient. You either ate the bad hotel food or paid 200 THB per person round trip by boat to Tonsai. Eating and drinking in Tonsai were also very expensive! And it was just the same old stuff. The most fun part of the entire Koh Phi Phi was the 7-Eleven complex!!!

GGuest UserI stayed here during my trip to Koh Phi Phi, and first off, the location is unbeatable! It's super convenient to get anywhere, and even though the facilities are a bit old, they were clean. Any issues I had were quickly addressed, and they provided all the services you'd expect, like cleaning and luggage storage. Given that accommodations on Koh Phi Phi are generally a bit older, I went in with that expectation and was very satisfied overall! I'd love to stay here again on my next trip. Had a great stay!

KKrystal9400Pros: - The hotel is located on a separate island, offering a secluded and less crowded environment compared to Ton Sai, which creates a great vacation atmosphere. - The kittens are adorable. - The longtail boat is affordable at 1800 baht for 4 hours (though the facilities are basic, no sofa). Cons: 1. In the first room, the lights flickered and suddenly went out at night, which was quite scary. I recorded many videos of this. 2. The front desk staff's English needs improvement, leading to some communication difficulties. 3. After changing rooms through Trip.com, the air conditioning in the second room leaked, dripping water at night and waking me up. There might have been other small animals in the room as I heard noises while sleeping. 4. The cleanliness of every room was poor. The bedding was old, the mosquito net had many holes, and there were various insects like ants and fleas. 5. The rocky area in front of the hotel is very sharp; remember to bring water shoes when going into the water. 6. Prices are very expensive. Mango sticky rice costs 65 RMB, and a single meal can cost 300-400 RMB.

GGuest UserWe had a small familiy reunion, and stayed at The Cove for 4 nights. We enjoyed it. The beach is lovely and right there. You can swim and snorkel any time of the day. The cabins are cute and have a small kettle and fridge. They have good food which is not too expensive and their service is alright, they changed our room with no issues and fixed things when we had issues. They have boat trips which we enjoyed that leave from the resort. There is a hike from the resort to the main pier and has amazing views, but it is toughz Overall we all had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway with no rush.

GGuest UserThe biggest plus is the location. It's a 400m walk from the pier. The room is average, nothing fancy. Small but cozy. The bathroom is also tiny, you can't really move around if there are two people. The shower is just a hole, but there's hot water. It's a standard room. The grounds are beautiful. But the pool, that's just fantastic! There's a big pool and a smaller one for kids. The views from the pool out to the sea are also great.

KKaren AnnGreat location  Our suite was lovely although our view was a bit obscured by trees but that couldn’t be helped  We were able to go on a couple of trips as the weather improved which was good  The crossing was a bit bumpy but at this time of the year it could of been much worse

GGuest UserA lovely hotel on a beautiful and very quiet part of Phi Phi. If you are looking for somewhere to totally unwind, a romantic holiday or somewhere quiet for the family then this is for you! It's away from the main nightlife of Phi Phi and there are no taxis only taxi boats. I don't think they would go at night. There was some very quiet and gentle musical entertainment most nights.

Llyu571I booked the most expensive room type. The first room they gave me was a connecting room (with a door in between), and the door felt very flimsy and unsafe. So, I asked to switch. The second room I got still had a building in front of it, blocking about a third of the P1 view. On top of that, the toilet was clogged. The hotel refused to let me change rooms again, claiming they were fully booked for the day (don't they assign rooms on a first-come, first-served basis? Or do they pre-allocate them?). Yet, I noticed the two rooms next to mine were empty for two consecutive nights (P2). What a rip-off! They claim to offer shuttle service, but I didn't get to use it. When I got off the boat, there was no sign of anyone. I missed the previous shuttle and had to wait an hour. I ended up dragging my suitcase across the beach myself, which was hot and exhausting. The hotel also doesn't provide a schedule; you only find out when you arrive. When I complained at the front desk, the two staff members (a man and a woman) were whispering to each other with their heads down. That's very unprofessional! I suggest they put the shuttle schedule online so guests can plan their island arrival times better. Aside from all that, the scenery and sea view are excellent. The sand right outside the hotel is like flour, very fine. There are two beaches where you can swim. It's not far to go to town for food or to Long Beach for snorkeling, so the location is great. You can also see monkeys 🐒 at the hotel. A special shout-out to the porters; they were very helpful!
