"Thank you for an amazing vacation! We came to celebrate my birthday, and it was probably one of the best and most heartwarming trips we've had in a long time. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team for the incredible hospitality! We were upgraded absolutely free of charge to a gorgeous two-room villa with its own onsen – it was an unbelievable gift. And a special, heartfelt thank you for the delicious celebratory cake from the staff; it was such a pleasant and unexpected surprise! I especially want to highlight how well-thought-out everything is on the property: Breakfasts – simply 10 out of 10. Everything is very fresh, delicious, and the selection is excellent. Atmosphere. The grounds are compact, but so incredibly well-maintained! The koi pond, the pool, the hot springs – it's a pleasure to stroll and relax here. Bicycles. We rented bikes and cycled through the surrounding area along the rice fields all the way to the sea – the views are incredible, I highly recommend everyone try it! There are two good restaurants and a bar on site, so we didn't even feel the need to go into town the entire time. We simply didn't want to leave the hotel! You gave us wonderful memories. We will definitely come back again and will recommend Kobi Onsen to all our friends!"

"This hotel was the most anticipated part of the entire trip to Hue. The resort was great, though a bit out of the way, requiring a taxi to get around. It had a retro feel but was clean and tidy, and everyone greeted us with a smile, creating a wonderful vacation atmosphere. The double room had an extra bed, and the breakfast included was great value. They even offered a wake-up service (I loved their flip-flops!). Because our train was at 6 AM the next day, we ate breakfast a day early – it was à la carte, and the yogurt was quite good. The receptionist even asked about our train time and thoughtfully prepared a convenient lunch for us when we left. There was also a cute little Year of the Horse gift – so sweet! It really boosted our mood. My parents were very satisfied with the trip. Thank you! I'll definitely recommend this hotel first in Hue. This is the first time I've written such a long review."

"The exact what we needed on our trip. It was so relaxing. The spa was amazing and the treatments and staff were 10/10. The the breakfast was amazing, both continental and Asian. the bar meals and evening meals very tasty too. A small menu though. Staff were 10/10 and very attentive. Could not do enough. The pool looked great, shame the sun didn’t shine until the day we left. The bikes were fun and the golf carts were a great idea for modes of transport. Would definitely recommend."

"I love this resort so much! Can’t wait to recommend everyone, especially those who love the zen vibe. It’s the best resort in my life. The atmosphere, the decoration, the service here and all the details are sooooo good! Although there’re lots of flowers and trees, but I couldn’t find any insect or mosquitoes! I also attended their free yoga and meditation classes. The vibes here just made us relaxing. We were ungraded to a villa and we totally enjoyed our stay here! I’ll definitely miss this place and the staff here! I recommend everyone to book the villa. The villa made my Vietnamese trip totally worth it! I also had a spa treatment, jacuzzi and sauna. Although i think the spa is a bit pricey, but thinking that i can relax with this beautiful place. Why not experience it once in a lifetime!"

"This was my first time staying at a Banyan Tree property and my first trip to Vietnam, so I was excited yet a little nervous. The experience turned out to be unexpectedly amazing, truly exceeding all my expectations. While this hotel isn't brand new, all the furniture and bathroom fixtures are impeccably maintained. Compared to other brand hotels I've stayed at recently, like the Westin in Phuket or even the Dusit Thani in the Maldives, Banyan Tree's brand standards are consistently stable and thorough. They offer twice-daily housekeeping, daily small gifts, and snacks, and on the last day, a bubble bath and romantic setup for two – all delightful surprises. Since our villa was on top of the hill, the buggy service was always prompt. Every staff member offered genuine, smiling service, incredibly patient, and even with limited English, there was none of that typical 'customer service' fake smile you often see in the hospitality industry. The spa truly deserves a special mention; I tried both the Banyan Tree and Angsana sister hotels' spas. The techniques were professional, the therapists put in great effort, and it was excellent value for money. I visited the spa four times during my seven-night, eight-day stay and still wanted more. Words can't express how highly I recommend it. I'm actually a very picky person, and a germaphobe, and over the past two decades, I've stayed at various five-star island resorts across several continents. This time, I'm truly grateful because it was a last-minute decision – I only booked and paid in September. After the trip, my initial apprehension turned into gratitude and satisfaction. I must say, Banyan Tree has won me over. I hope to try their properties in China this year."

"First of all, this hotel is a piece of art. The interior is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are also beautiful, you won’t stop taking pictures of the interior. The bed was super comfortable. Has an ATM across the street. The location was very good for exploring both the citadel and the tomb, however it is slightly far from the walking street and boat. There are some areas of to watch out for. The pool was cold and not suitable for swimming. The gym also closes at around 9 pm, which is quite early. The sauna is quite hidden. The shower curtain was old and had a smell. The bathrobe had some dirty spots. The breakfast was OK, very healthy, but I found a long string of hair in a chicken plate, which as upsetting."

"My second stay there and hopefully not my last one. If you are looking for a relaxing spa hotel surrounded by beautiful nature and calmness then Alba is your place. Modern architecture, lots of green, great pool, plenty of relaxing activities like yoga and meditation, the onsen, the massages etc. Staff is extremely nice, professional and helpful. I didn't want to leave but unfinished can't do holidays forever"

"The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!"
