Our room was spacious, comfortable and offered an amazing view of the ocean. We especially loved spending time on the balcony, which had comfortable seating and provided the perfect spot to soak in the breathtaking scenery and to hear the sound of the waves which was therapeutic and calming. Such a treat it was! The complimentary minibar also added a little nice touch to the stay. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The overall ambience of the resort was relaxing and inviting, and the facilities were well maintained and enjoyable for a time of family fun. Overall, it was a memorable experience and we would mot hesitate to return again in the future."

The place is beautiful with a peaceful atmosphere, and the service is consistently warm and welcoming. The only downside is the poor soundproofing, as we were a few times woken up thinking the door was opening. Overall, still a good stay. 👍🏻"

The facilities are absolutely excellent—from the stunning pools to the beautifully appointed room, every detail was perfect. And the view! Waking up to that breathtaking vista of the Andaman Sea was really awesome and something we will never forget. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single team member we encountered was so helpful, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had a perfect experience. We would like to give a special mention to Asri at the Beach Grill. He is such a nice and wonderful person. We felt so comfortable and grateful to talk with him; his service went far beyond just taking our order. He shared so many funny stories and insights about Langkawi, its culture, and its beautiful nature. He has a fantastic sense of humour and a real passion for the island, which made our meals there not just delicious, but truly memorable. He is a real asset to the hotel. Thank you to Asri and the entire team for making our vacation so special. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we are planning to return hotel soon."

"In general a nice resort for a family stay. But I would say not worth the price. Firstly the beach are horrible in that area. Breakfast is so so, only good egg station, but the rest not that good. If you are a family then make sure you don’t stay near the lobby as the live music is loud until 23:00. But the staff are top"

"Beautiful beach, friendly staffs. Peace and cozy. We had a wonderful stay at Tanjung Rhu Beach Resort, Langkawi. The staff were extremely friendly and warm — they greeted us every time we crossed paths, which made us feel truly welcomed. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good mix of Western and local options. The kueh teow soup was especially nice, and the champagne was a fun and pleasant touch! We also had dinner at the resort restaurant — the pizza and drinks were delicious. Dining by the beach while watching the sunset, with the cool sea breeze and peaceful atmosphere, was incredibly cozy. The view is simply priceless — something money can’t measure. The location is excellent. At the corner of the resort’s private beach, you can easily find mangrove tour providers. During high tide, boats can even come directly to the beach to pick you up. It’s also just a 5-minute walk to the jetty, where there are more mangrove tour companies. The jetty is also a beautiful spot to catch the sunrise in the morning. The resort offers daily activities as well, which were fun and relaxing. Nature lovers will especially appreciate this place — we spotted a family of dusky leaf monkeys, hornbills, squirrels, and many other birds. It truly feels like a protected natural haven. A perfect retreat for those seeking peace, nature, and a relaxing beachfront experience."

Dayang Bay Resort Langkawi
"The hotel is far away from main attractions (30 mins) so I had to pay for a taxi 30 mins each way. The sheets were disgustingly dirty, even when they were changed each time. The room was a deluxe room but so 2 star looking. I picked this resort because it was a very good price including breakfast and I wanted to have my first trip with breakfast included. Especially since it’s my honeymoon .The breakfast was horrendous. Me and my husband would only pick these items each time because everything else was so bad. My husband hardly eats when he’s there’s so it’s a waste of money. I spoke to someone else there and she was complaining too. The condition and taste of the food was like hospital food. Not many options and most of it was cold when I reached down around 9/9:45. They have candles at the bottom to keep it heated so shouldn’t be an excuse. They have this really bad tasting orange juice. I don’t like the taste of water so I always drink juice, however every time I went down I had to drink water. There was a time I put the sign on for room service and when I came back to the room, the room was not made up. The towels smell like damp towels, even when I asked them to change them, they always had this bad smell as if they weren’t even cleaned. One had a stain on it. I don’t think they wash their towels properly or use detergent. Pool closes so early at 8pm. Wouldn’t come back. Staff were lovely though and I liked having a balcony."
