"I am sharing this review so other guests are aware. We checked in at around 7pm after our taxi dropped us off at the location. The lockbox containing the key was difficult to locate and use , as it was located outside the condo. The facilities were generally nice, but the air-conditioning was not working properly. The remote control was missing, and the replacement remote provided did not work even after we asked for help. We had to climb onto a chair to manually turn on the air-conditioning. Since we could not adjust the temperature, I had difficulty sleeping because it was a warm night. After this stressful check-in experience, the homestay provider also requested an additional RM30 for a slightly late checkout, with payment requested by direct CIMB bank transfer outside the Trip.com platform. As a Singaporean, I travel to Johor Bahru often for both business and leisure and have usually had many pleasant experiences booking through Trip.com. I also appreciate Trip.com’s efforts to help smooth over the situation. However, based on this stay, I would not choose this particular residence/service provider again as there are several better options. We have filed a formal complaint with Trip.com and are awaiting resolution. Trip, Please contact me if this violates of any of the review rules ( i have checked and it has not), and i will edit accordingly. Thank you."

"When there was a problem during the stay, the landlord responded in a timely manner. But disappointingly, many days after check-out, the deposit has not been refunded. I hope the landlord can improve the deposit refund process to avoid unnecessary trouble for the guests."

"Room is spacious but looks a bit worn out. Provide toiletry and toilets but suggest to bring own towels and can wash it with their washing machines. Check in check out is easy and service is good, owner will provide step by step guide. Wife left something behind and owner wa us to go back to retrieve. 10-15mins walk to Mid Valley Southkey and it’s quite convenient."
