My family and I had a great time at Pacific Bay Grand Suites. It was such a fantastic experience that we all agreed that this is now our go-to hotel whenever we are in Manila from now on. On top of that, great location and service, too!

This hotel is incredibly close to the airport, right across from it. I stayed on the eighth floor, and the soundproofing was decent, but it couldn't block out the motorbike noise. The service was generally good. However, there was a slight sewer smell coming from the bathroom, and the hairdryer's power was a bit weak. They offer in-room massage services, but you have to go to the front desk to pay by card immediately after your massage. The pool is shallow, with live music by the poolside, and it's quite enjoyable for a swim, but it closes at 8 PM, so you have to make the most of it. Also, despite being close to the airport (about a 20-minute walk), the pedestrian walkways aren't very convenient; you often encounter obstacles that force you onto the road. Taking a taxi would be a better option.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Westside Manila Bay. The hotel was very clean and smelled nice as soon as we walked in. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always helpful. The room was comfortable and well maintained. Everything felt organized and relaxing. Our family had a great experience, and we would gladly stay here again on our next trip. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The biggest highlight is the location. It’s right across from NAIA Terminal 3 via the Runway Manila bridge, which made arrival and departure incredibly stress-free. Being within Newport World Resorts also meant easy access to restaurants, cafes, and entertainment options without needing to travel far. The room was clean and well-maintained. It’s not very spacious, but it had everything needed for a short stay: a comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. Housekeeping was consistent throughout the stay. Service was efficient and polite. Staff were helpful, especially with check-in and basic requests. Overall, it’s a great choice for a short stay, layover, or business trip, especially if proximity to the airport is a priority.

Our stay was excellent and truly felt like home. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the complete amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen with utensils, which made our stay even more convenient. It is perfect for families, offering plenty of comfort and space at an affordable price. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of Manila Bay from the balcony, which made our mornings and evenings even more relaxing. Overall, it provided great value for money, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, family-friendly, and budget-friendly place to stay.

This hotel is more suited for Chinese guests. From the moment you enter the building to the room itself, from the walls to the products, everything is Chinese. Even the toothbrushes provided have Chinese characters printed on them, and all the air conditioners and TVs are domestic brands. Even the elevator lobby has two large Chinese characters, making you truly feel like you're in a building in China. The environment is decent; it looks quite spacious and bright, but many areas are a bit old and some spots aren't perfectly clean. There were mosquitoes and a couple of small flies in the room. It's very convenient to take a taxi to T1, making it suitable for layovers. The hotel lobby also offers free coffee, juice, and water.

It was a nice experience although there was the annoying detail about not getting the king size bed I asked for and that I was told could choose when I check in because it was full so had ro settle for two single's bed. They should also clean the glass window from the exterior. It got stains on it preventing from taking clear photos of the surroundings

@@apieceofmykOverall: 4/5 Location: 4.5/5 Very convenient. I stayed here for a 2-day ISO training held in one of their convention rooms, so it was super practical. It’s also right beside Starbucks, which was my go-to for coffee. Value: 4/5 Reasonable for a short business stay, but parking has an extra fee. Room: 3/5 The hotel feels old and nostalgic — classic elevators and hallways. Bathroom was clean, but the room had a slightly musky smell. Walls seem thin since I could hear a neighboring room’s phone and music. Cleanliness: 5/5 Bathroom was neat and well-maintained. Service: 5/5 Staff were friendly and accommodating. Facilities: 5/5 Convention rooms are functional and convenient for seminars and trainings. The packaged food during the training was also good and complete, from breakfast snacks to lunch and merienda. Final Take: Good option for business stays and trainings. Not the most modern, but convenient and comfortable enough for short trips.

AAnonymous UserWe normally stay at this hotel for family staycation. However, this time, it was a bit disappointing. There were a lot of things that really made our stay not enjoyable. 1. Construction noise - no one informed us about the construction. Previously, front desk would inform about it upon check in and they also left a note in our room. But now, nothing. And as a person who works at night, i normally sleep in the morning til afternoon but we were disturbed by the construction noise. 2. Plates, utensils - if you want to borrow 1 set of playe, bowl & utensils, you have to pay Php150 per set, which is so unbelievable! Your room rates aren't cheap & you can't even allow your guests to borrow plates, spoons & fork, which are usually necessity when staying in a hotel. So we just went to the nearby Lawson & bouth 10pcs of plates, spoons, forks & cups for only Php80! 3. Parking- they said 1 room has an alloted 1 parking space but when we had to park, no more available space. You should prioritize your check in guests! And how come the parking is already full when you kept saying you alloted 1 parking space per room. 4. Missing chair- in the pictures, you will see 2 chairs but when we entered the room, there's only 1. 5. Old furniture- their sofa bed is squeekingly old, you can't sleep bec every move, the sofa bed will create noise. Not worth it anymore. Their only redemptions are the king bed, free chocolates & nuts & nespresso coffee.

KKuku_TravelsMy stay at Valero Grand Suites was great, it has everything you need to make yourself feel home. I requested pan to cook breakfast and it was delivered immediately. But you can also get breakfast buffet at the hotel - if wished. The pool is on the 34th floor and the gym operates 24h. Staff were nice and friendly, location is very nice and easy to walk to greenbelt, ayala triangle park etc.

WWubbaWubbaWubbaBeautiful and large comfortable rooms with a view, Shower pressure was great. Drinking water dispenser at lift landing provides instant hot and cold water. Rooftop dining and kitchen area was adequate and clean. Gym was sufficient for a casual workout on your travels. Nearby Robinsons mall is huge and provides for your dining and grocery needs. Now the location… unfortunately Malate smells like piss. It’s just how the area is. All breatheable air has moved to BGC and Makati. My first day I walked along Taft Ave, the main thoroughfare where the LRT tracks run along, it was unbearable. I suggest if you’re walking to Intramuros or the National museums, turn left coming out of the building and walk down Adriatico or Roxas. It’s less putrid near the bay. Avoid Taft at all cost. The entire team at Lyf I’d encountered, front desk, concierge housekeeping and dining, were all super helpful and smiling always. Bravo, team!

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The location was also convenient, close to SM MOA and restaurants. The only thing that I didn't like was the size of the pool, it quite small and a bit shallow (4ft) from the usual 5ft pools, but the overall hotel service was efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

RRenee AgnesStayed here with my husband since we had somewhere nearby to go, and overall it was a good choice. The location is very convenient, with lots of restaurants and a convenience store nearby. We had a car so it was easy for us to get around, but it might be less accessible for commuters. The hotel staff were also very nice and accommodating, which we appreciated. On the downside, the gym and pool weren’t very convenient to access since you still have to go down to the lobby to inform them before using them. The shower temperature was also inconsistent and would suddenly turn cold even on a warm setting. What we enjoyed the most was the breakfast buffet! The food was super yummy and definitely one of the best for its price. Overall, for a hotel in a business district, it’s sulit and worth it.
