Spending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time. The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring. Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city.

This hotel is a beautifully converted tulou, offering a modern and polished take on a traditional structure. While it may lack some of the original lived-in charm you might expect from such heritage buildings, it still provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The service was a standout, staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, which really enhanced the overall experience. As for the room design, we were initially impressed by the split-level layout, with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom and toilet below. However, this became a bit inconvenient, especially for older guests needing to use the bathroom during the night. The shower setup was another slight drawback, as there’s no space to hang clothes or towels inside. This means you have to change outside the shower area, making it difficult for others to use the lower level at the same time. These were minor inconveniences rather than major issues, and they didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay.

Family! We found a treasure✨ I just checked out of this B&B and I have to praise it! The location is right in the scenic area, so it is super convenient to go back to the accommodation when you are tired. There is also an exclusive parking lot, which makes self-driving parties ecstatic🚗 The room is warmly decorated, the bedding is clean and soft, and the large windows face the natural scenery. In the morning, I was awakened by the sun and birdsong, and I felt happy🌿 The bathroom is also clean and the facilities are easy to use. I especially praise the boss! He is as enthusiastic as a family member and thoughtfully planned a tour route for us. This service is amazing👍 I will stay here again next time I come, and it is a five-star recommendation~

The hotel is facing Guanzhang Mountain and has an excellent location. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Guanzhang Mountain directly from the balcony of the room and the platform on the second floor of the hotel. The duplex suite we booked is perfect for family outings. The first floor is a living room with enough space for tea viewing, and the second floor is two bedrooms with separate bathrooms and toilets, which are large and spacious. Hotel service is very good, patient and kind, check-in and check-out speed are very fast. The trip also had two breakfasts and two dinners in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast had a variety of local specialties, which was quite hearty. The dinner was good and cheap, and the seasonal vegetables were quite delicious.

This stay was really a surprise! From the beginning of the get off the bus, I felt full of intimate, the front desk check-in was fast, the room type was very good, highly recommended. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft like a cloud, and I slept super heavy at night. The breakfast shop at the entrance of the hotel has many types to choose from, and the boiling water is really delicious! It is only three minutes away from the ancient city of Changting. It is convenient to go to attractions and business districts. Next time you come to live here, you must have five stars!

This guesthouse is right at the entrance of the Fujian Tulou Prince Scenic Area. We visited during road construction, but parking was available right outside. The guesthouse itself is a converted Tulou, and the rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable. It's truly impressive how well a 500-year-old Tulou has been renovated. In the evenings, there were Hakka cultural and art performances. The service was excellent, and breakfast offered a good variety. Overall, a very satisfying stay during our road trip.

This time I stayed at the Tujiawan Hotel. The room was clean and tidy. The quilt cover and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was large and the hot bath was bigger than mine. I expected and the Hakka dishes in the restaurant next door were also delicious. The front desk sister Jiang is also very hospitable and talkative. In fact, this time from Malaysia to Yongding is to find roots. After talking to her, she was very happy to introduce me to the tour guide. After the tour guide took me to a lot of earth buildings, I found the ancestors by the way. In the evening, I returned to the hotel and met my sister at the front desk. We talked again before getting off work. She knew my hometown and was very happy to help me. I said that there were relatives who could help me find my hometown relatives. After about an hour, I received her good news, saying that there are relatives there. I will have people from my hometown to meet later. I am so excited and excited to receive her news. The inn is located on the main road 30 meters away from the entrance of the scenic area and is easy to find. It is a small inn with spacious and bright rooms, clean and tidy beds, and complete bathroom facilities. There is a large earth building opposite the entrance of the inn. It is very beautiful, especially at night. When the lights are turned on, it is very beautiful. There are performances in the earth building at night. I was lucky enough to see the fireworks. I was very happy. The boss is very enthusiastic and warm. They also have catering services in their store. I stayed at his house for a day and had three meals there. The food was delicious and it felt like home. This inn has convenient transportation, is economical, and has thoughtful service. It is trustworthy and deserves a five-star rating!

The service of the hotel is very good, the hygiene and food are very good, and the guests are always responsive to their requests. The hotel is located in the center of the city, next to the local snack street. After crossing the bridge, you will reach the intersection of the scenic spot. After a walk, you can just go back to the hotel, which saves you the trouble of where to park. Overall, it is a very good trip. It was a pleasant trip. A very satisfying stay experience. This homestay is quite large, with a large parking lot and restaurant. The location is very good, a few steps away from the Tulou Prince Zhencheng Building. The exit of the scenic spot was 600 meters from his house. We didn't let the car in the scenic spot until 4 pm. We parked the car in the parking lot next to the exit (free of charge). The proprietress drove to pick it up in time and was very enthusiastic. The boss introduced us to the tour route. Some villagers were drinking tea and chatting with the boss, and the boss's family was very good. At around 5 o'clock, we drove the car to the downstairs of the villa, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The proprietress burned a hand, caught chicken on the mountain, fresh vegetables picked in the field, and the kitchen was clean. After dinner, go to Zhencheng Building to watch a light show and a movie on the floor. If you walk about 2 kilometers from the entrance of the scenic spot to Zhencheng Building, you don't have to take the scenic car and pay the parking fee to live in this house, which saves money and effort. It is a very recommended homestay.
