Everything was great. For a B&B, my only requirement is cleanliness, and this place met it. The bathroom with a sink is on the first floor, and the bedroom is on the second. It has a wet/dry separation, and I could leave my luggage downstairs, which was very convenient! A thoughtful touch was the extra blanket in the closet – very helpful when traveling with kids! Most hotels nowadays don't provide this, and you usually have to pay extra for an additional blanket. For elderly guests who need to use the restroom at night, climbing stairs might be something to consider. Overall, it was an excellent stay! Living in a Tulou (earthen building) was a wonderful experience too!

It's a bit strange; it claims to be a family-friendly hotel, yet it lacks bed rails. Other children's amenities, however, are quite complete. As a five-star hotel, looking at customers while speaking is basic, right? The receptionist, Chen Xiaomei, was expressionless and had a terrible attitude; she didn't even look up when I spoke to her. After checking in, I wasn't satisfied with the room type and asked Chen Xiaomei if I could pay for an upgrade. She didn't even look up and simply said there were no rooms available. I checked Ctrip, and there were still many rooms available. Clearly having rooms available, yet refusing to allow customers to pay for an upgrade and failing to communicate with customers is extremely incompetent. This service is worse than a 50 RMB restaurant down the mountain. My takeout arrived, but I wasn't in the room at the moment. I told the front desk I'd deliver it in five minutes. Three minutes later, I returned to the room to find a robot waiting at the door—I was helpless. The front desk really seems like a makeshift operation. I found a huge ant on the bed. The doorman, cleaning lady, and restaurant staff were all very friendly. I've also seen several complaints about the front desk on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). It hasn't improved after all this time; maybe the front desk staff are all people with connections.

Family! We found a treasure✨ I just checked out of this B&B and I have to praise it! The location is right in the scenic area, so it is super convenient to go back to the accommodation when you are tired. There is also an exclusive parking lot, which makes self-driving parties ecstatic🚗 The room is warmly decorated, the bedding is clean and soft, and the large windows face the natural scenery. In the morning, I was awakened by the sun and birdsong, and I felt happy🌿 The bathroom is also clean and the facilities are easy to use. I especially praise the boss! He is as enthusiastic as a family member and thoughtfully planned a tour route for us. This service is amazing👍 I will stay here again next time I come, and it is a five-star recommendation~

Spending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time. The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring. Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city.

Staying in a modern room within a centuries-old Tulou was an incredible experience! They even installed an elevator in the Tulou, which was a thoughtful touch. The location is right next to the Tulou Prince scenic area, and there's parking available for those driving. What made it even better was the fantastic evening show; we specifically came for it and felt it was totally worth the trip! My only minor complaint is that the mattress was a bit too soft, and after a day of driving, it wasn't great for my back. Luckily, there was a firm daybed I could sleep on. I'd recommend visiting during the off-season; it's quieter at night, and you'll feel like you have the whole Tulou to yourself for photos. However, it's still a good idea to bring noise-canceling headphones, otherwise, you might get woken up early by tour groups checking in.

This time I stayed at the Tujiawan Hotel. The room was clean and tidy. The quilt cover and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was large and the hot bath was bigger than mine. I expected and the Hakka dishes in the restaurant next door were also delicious. The front desk sister Jiang is also very hospitable and talkative. In fact, this time from Malaysia to Yongding is to find roots. After talking to her, she was very happy to introduce me to the tour guide. After the tour guide took me to a lot of earth buildings, I found the ancestors by the way. In the evening, I returned to the hotel and met my sister at the front desk. We talked again before getting off work. She knew my hometown and was very happy to help me. I said that there were relatives who could help me find my hometown relatives. After about an hour, I received her good news, saying that there are relatives there. I will have people from my hometown to meet later. I am so excited and excited to receive her news. I really have a grateful heart. Thank you for her so enthusiastic help. Otherwise, I will not find my hometown to find my roots smoothly. This trip is awesome. Thanks again to sister Jiang Jingqing! After comparing many options, the hotel I booked was a pleasant surprise. The river view was absolutely stunning, facing the Tingjiang River with a wide-open vista, offering views of the Eight Happiness Tower and the beautiful covered bridge. It was incredibly close to all the scenic spots; the best restaurants were just steps away, and the snacks on Shuidong Street were all authentic – I regret not trying more! To see the beautiful Jichuan Gate at night and watch the drone show, there was no need to squeeze into a crowded taxi; it was just a 10-15 minute walk through Shuidong Street. The hotel service was also very attentive and responsive. While not the most luxurious hotel, it was definitely the most convenient. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, including freshly ground soy milk, refreshing mung bean soup, and various Tingzhou snacks, which my child enjoyed.

This stay was really a surprise! From the beginning of the get off the bus, I felt full of intimate, the front desk check-in was fast, the room type was very good, highly recommended. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft like a cloud, and I slept super heavy at night. The breakfast shop at the entrance of the hotel has many types to choose from, and the boiling water is really delicious! It is only three minutes away from the ancient city of Changting. It is convenient to go to attractions and business districts. Next time you come to live here, you must have five stars!

A very satisfying stay experience. This homestay is quite large, with a large parking lot and restaurant. The location is very good, a few steps away from the Tulou Prince Zhencheng Building. The exit of the scenic spot was 600 meters from his house. We didn't let the car in the scenic spot until 4 pm. We parked the car in the parking lot next to the exit (free of charge). The proprietress drove to pick it up in time and was very enthusiastic. The boss introduced us to the tour route. Some villagers were drinking tea and chatting with the boss, and the boss's family was very good. At around 5 o'clock, we drove the car to the downstairs of the villa, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The proprietress burned a hand, caught chicken on the mountain, fresh vegetables picked in the field, and the kitchen was clean. After dinner, go to Zhencheng Building to watch a light show and a movie on the floor. If you walk about 2 kilometers from the entrance of the scenic spot to Zhencheng Building, you don't have to take the scenic car and pay the parking fee to live in this house, which saves money and effort. It is a very recommended homestay.
