Chatan Hotels with Balcony

"The room is a bit on the smaller side but is functional with a small working table/desk. The hotel is located across the road from the American Village and surrounded by a few other buildings so may be slightly difficult to find and identify. Walking to the American Village or Chatan Gateway will take 10-15 minutes. Luggage storage before is complementary and the hotel service was friendly. However water is not provided."

"Location: About a 15-minute walk from American Village, with many chain restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Breakfast: They provide coupons for the adjacent Komeda's Coffee, which gets you a drink and toast."

"Hands down, this is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Japan. The only minor drawback is its location near American Village, which can make getting around a bit inconvenient if you don't have a car. However, if you're able to rent a car for independent travel, it's absolutely perfect! **Pros:** 1. The balcony was incredibly comfortable. In summer, you can sleep with the balcony doors open, letting the refreshing sea breeze in without needing AC. It really brought back such nostalgic childhood memories. 2. The room itself is very spacious and fully equipped with everything you could need – pots, pans, dishes, a microwave, and even a convenient in-room washer and dryer. A huge plus for families with children! 3. We stayed here for two nights. As we were on a family vacation with our child, we mainly explored American Village and its immediate surroundings. Aeon Mall is just 3.4km away, and there are plenty of fantastic food options nearby, like yakiniku and ramen. I especially recommend the Indian restaurant right next door – it's delicious and really affordable! 4. Our kid was absolutely thrilled, spending an entire morning on the balcony watching fighter jets fly by!"

"The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the American Village. The surrounding area is very quiet at night, but sometimes someone is practicing fancy locomotives on the small road. It is noisy to close the balcony door and there is no sound. Hotel facilities are normal, but to cook, you have to borrow stoves from the counter. The room has a strange smell and has a small improvement after turning on the air conditioner but still smelly. The wall part has black spots and musty smell. Sometimes there is an unknown small insect crawling on the countertop. Half of the mattress is hard and half is soft. It is difficult to adapt. The isolation of the upper and lower floors of the hotel is very poor. The upper floors are pulled and the lower floors are heard clearly. I hope the hotel can issue a notice to ask passengers who will stay not to wash clothes in the washing machine from 1 am to 3 am. It is really troublesome to sleep normally."

"The room was very spacious and clean. The toilet and shower areas were separate, with the shower and bathtub areas further divided. The balcony offered stunning sea views, especially on a clear day when the ocean looked like a 'jelly sea'. The hotel's toiletries were also excellent. Oh, and there's free coffee in the morning, which you brew yourself."

Clean facilities, cozy beds, good location, and a calm atmosphere that makes solo travel feel easy. No regrets at all—actually one of my favorite stays this trip."
