The Kameya-Rakan is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Kameya-Rakan is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Ito. "This is an older Japanese-style hotel in Ito. The front desk staff are elderly and very kind, patiently explaining how to use the hot springs and yukata. The hotel has a main building and an annex, connected by a corridor on the 5th floor, and the ocean view rooms even offer sunrise views. While the facilities are a bit dated, it's still a great choice considering its convenient location and excellent value for money."

Renovated in 2025, the Mori no Yu Izu Kogen Kira no Sato [Renewal Opening: December 22, 2025] is a great choice for accommodation in Ito. The hotel is conveniently located just 1km from Izu-Kōgen Station and 84km from Shizuoka Airport. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Ringafuranka Jogasakibunka Museum, Izu Teddy Bear Museum and Hachimangukinomiya Shrine. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Ito hotel offers parking on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely loved the Hachiman-no Wayo-shiki room type at KIRA-NO-SATO! Upon reaching the floor of our room, we had to take off our shoes and put them in a shoe cabinet, then walk barefoot to the room. If you're heading to the public bathhouse or just exploring the hotel, you can wear the geta (wooden clogs) provided by the shoe cabinet. The floors were incredibly clean; walking barefoot was very comfortable and not dirty at all. The room itself was spotless and spacious, not feeling old-fashioned in the slightest. In fact, it looked quite new. The shower room's design reminded me of a sauna, but it was very comfortable and clean. We didn't use the public bath. Instead, we showered in our room each time before grabbing the key for a private onsen. The 'Stone Craftsman' bath, made of stone, was a bit small; it felt a little cramped for two people. 'Bamboo Immortal' was made of wood (or perhaps bamboo, judging by the name?) and offered more space. 'Rock Seat' was more like a small swimming pool, the largest of the three private onsens, very spacious for two, and had the best overhead cover. The hotel front desk offered complimentary drinks, including sodas, coffee, and tea. The public bath area provided milk and coffee milk in the mornings, and lactic acid drinks and ice cream in the evenings. The building next to the front desk offered various refreshments at different times, such as green tea, local sweet potatoes, soba noodles, and oden. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle bus service to Izu-Kogen Station, though it stops running after 5:30 PM. After that, you'd have to walk. The walk from the station to the hotel is uphill with a significant incline, which can be tiring if you have luggage or many bags. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and polite! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Izu~"

The Izu One Club is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Izu One Club is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Ito. The hotel is conveniently located just 4km from Izu-Kōgen Station and 82km from Shizuoka Airport. This hotel is located near many of Ito's attractions including Akazawa Foot Bath, Akazawa Onsen Day Spa and 海洋深層水赤沢スパ. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Ito hotel offers parking on site.

"Izu One Club stood quietly in the mountains. The exterior had a Western-style feel, and the reception area was decorated with motorcycles and nostalgic figurines displayed in glass cases. It felt like a place overflowing with personal touches. They meticulously checked out the entire building, including my room, which was a Japanese-style room just like the pictures I'd seen. It had the bare minimum – a TV, table, futon, kettle – a simple space, but somehow it evoked a sense of nostalgia. The only thing I would mention is that, perhaps because of the time of year I stayed (late March) or because it's in the mountains, it was a little chilly. Personally, I didn't mind, but some people might need a jacket. And then there's the bath. I didn't use the bathtub, but the shower was sufficient… however, perhaps because I took a shower in the morning, the water didn't heat up quickly… there was a stove in the changing area, which was nice and warm. On my way out, I stopped by a large common room-like area with a spectacular view of the sea – it was beautiful. I thought it would have been even more beautiful if it had been sunnier (the photo was taken from the room in that space). This time I stayed there urgently for a one-day business trip, but it was a pretty nice room, and I might stay there again if I have the chance. However, please note that a car is essential to get there. There are no convenience stores nearby either, so I recommend eating before you stay."

"Underestimate the desolation of Izu Kogen Station. Remember to call ahead to make an appointment to pick up and drop off the hotel. There should be Chinese people who can let Chinese people pick up the phone, but generally there will be no cars at four or five at the latest. If the last bus is more than 6 o'clock I want to call a car in a kiosk. If you can’t speak Japanese, you can only try your luck and wait, especially when there is no car The room is ok. Although the Japanese bed is a bit harder, it is wide and clean."

This time I stayed near Izu Kogen Station, just a few hundred meters walk away, which was very convenient. Facilities: The restaurant and hot springs were all available. Although the hot springs and restrooms are shared, it wasn't inconvenient at all. You can play PS5 and use the massage chair. There are two hot spring baths, one large and one small, which can be reserved in advance. Cleanliness: It was cleaned daily. While traditional Japanese-style rooms don't inherently look as 'clean' as modern ones, I found it quite clean. Environment: It's close to the train station and there are some restaurants nearby. The owner keeps the place very nicely decorated, with many interesting ornaments and designs. Service: The staff member is *********, which made communication very easy. Every day, a large thermos of hot water was left at the door. The hot spring reservation software was very convenient and integrated with WeChat. When I left, the owner insisted on driving me to the train station – the service was absolutely top-notch. This little inn is quite interesting; if you're used to modern hotels, you might want to try this Japanese-style one. I would definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Izu.

I had a fantastic experience at Forest Glaming! The staff, including Mr. Terada & the cool dude with long hair, were not only incredibly friendly but also made an effort to communicate with me in English and encouraged my attempts at speaking Japanese. Despite missing the shuttle bus, Mr. Terada kindly came to pick me up. The resort is a serene haven, offering tranquility and the cleanest toilets I've ever encountered. ✨Being tented near the shower and toilet facilities was an added bonus. 😮💨The food was outstanding, especially the aged domestic beef 🍖 BBQ. The only disappointment was not having the chance to share the wonderful dinner with the staff. I totally recommend Forest Glaming to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape with exceptional service and facilities. The staff's warmth and willingness to engage in different languages truly enhanced my stay. Fantabulous!!! 😍🥰

This was my mother and daughters' first international trip together, and thanks to this place, we had such a happy and enjoyable time! 🥰 Everyone was incredibly friendly, and both the outdoor private onsen and indoor hot spring bath in our room were clean and beautiful! 👍 My mom had been wanting to go to a hot spring for years, and she was absolutely thrilled and very satisfied. 💜 Dinner and breakfast were also fantastic; you could really feel the effort put into each dish, and we got to try new ingredients, so it was all delicious! 😍 If you're driving from Shizuoka by rental car, I highly recommend taking the toll road! We took the free road and ended up learning to drive in Japan 'Spartan-style' on our first day, thanks to the massive forest roads and fog. Haha. We received the best hospitality during our stay, which helped my mother and daughters make truly wonderful memories. 🧡 Thank you so much. We'll definitely come back with the whole family next time! Please stay healthy always. 💖

There was a mistake when I made the reservation, but the front desk kindly handled it. Thanks to them, I was able to have a wonderful stay! I think both the staff and the environment are wonderful. The amenities and facilities are very clean and simple, so you can enjoy it even if you come empty-handed. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity!

Service: 1. The Japanese gentleman running the place is incredibly welcoming. Besides Japanese, he also speaks English and a little Chinese. 2. My Japanese is only N3 level, so the owner was very patient, speaking slowly to make sure I understood. 3. The hotel offers free pick-up and drop-off service from the station. Since there's only one convenience store and supermarket between Izu Kogen and Jōgasaki Coast, the owner also organizes trips for guests who need to buy daily necessities. 4. If you want to visit tourist spots, you can also tell the owner, and he'll help drive you if he's available. Environment: The room was very clean, and even on a cloudy day, there was no damp smell. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.

The seafood sashimi was a little small, but the meal was satisfactory. The stairs from the parking lot to the front room were tight for me with bad knees.

For Dashishan and Cactus Zoo, the hotel is near Izu Plateau Station. It takes about 18 minutes to walk and there are more slopes. People along the way are also very quiet with cute flowers and plants. You can store your luggage for free on the day of check-in. Going to Dashishan or taking the bus honestly, watching the walk is only 40 minutes, but there will be private roads along the way that are not allowed to pass, and the map walking navigation is still not very smart. The room is Western style, there are tatami mats, the price is really super high. The room is much larger than expected. There is a toilet sink. You have to take two free private soups to take a bath. It is said that the private soup feels like a large bath in an ordinary hotel. It’s super cool to have a lock on the personal door. In addition, there is a free drink machine coffee machine, very crazy sweet water.

In fact, the hotel is very good, the environment is very good, the room is very beautiful, the toilet is super big, and it is very comfortable to live. But the disadvantage is that the traffic is too inconvenient, unless you drive by yourself... and dinner needs to be booked one day in advance, otherwise there is nothing to eat nearby.

Highly Recommended!! Key Point: The hotel includes a one-day admission ticket, allowing access to three attractions within one day: (Cactus Zoo, Izu Granpal Park, and the New York Lighting Museum Garden). We recommend checking in after visiting Mt. Omuro, enjoying a one-night stay with two meals at the onsen (hot spring), and then visiting the above attractions the next day! Perfect for families and couples! We recommend driving or walking to the hotel from Mt. Omuro/the zoo. Environment and Location: The hotel is located next to Mt. Omuro, about a 10-minute walk from the Mt. Omuro Ropeway; it also has a private entrance to the Cactus Zoo (accessible via a gate next to the hotel). The hotel features a terrace and platform with stunning surrounding views, perfect for taking photos, overlooking the sunrise, night views, and Mt. Omuro. Rooms and Facilities: Spacious rooms with a semi-Western, semi-Japanese design. Meals: The hotel offers a Japanese set breakfast and a kaiseki dinner.

The location is a bit remote, on the mountain, but there is a parking lot. It is highly recommended for friends who drive by themselves. Although the setting is relatively old, it is cheap, clean, and very quiet. There is a golf course downstairs, which can provide golf entertainment. The hotel also has hot springs for soaking
