The hotel's location is good, in Stone Town, convenient for getting around. The room was a special offer, in a side building, quite small, and without an elevator. Service was average. These are all acceptable.
The most outrageous thing was that the hotel fan snapped the mosquito net off at night! Then the metal chain connecting the net was also torn off! It was very dangerous when it was thrown out.
We immediately called the front desk to explain the situation, but they just sent someone to remove the net.
The next day at checkout, we told the front desk again. They just gave a perfunctory ”sorry.” No compensation was offered, and no explanation was given!
I will never stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

The hotel is in the stone city, close to the road outside, breakfast is good, the restaurant is on the roof, the scenery is good, there is a sea view. The room is clean and hygienic. It is very convenient to go to the beach. There is a night market nearby, but it is not recommended to pit tourists. Overall it is recommended.

Good location - in the center of everything in Stone town. They don’t have water coolers for clients - you have to go to the restaurant to refill.
Also: it seems they bought another building. So they accommodated us in like 200 meters from main facility. Surely it’s kind of inconvenient but still ok.

Location is good originally as it is near to the ferry, but its noisy at night. I can hear people arguing at the midnight.
The room is very clean but no bottles water, toothpaste and toothbrush.
The staff are very nice.
