It is an even shorter drive to the Idyllwild Nature Center, which offers an indoor interactive area for kids, many great hikes and picnic areas in the summer and great sledding in the winter. Humber Park is also nearby, which has hiking in the summer and great sledding in the winter (it tends to be about 15 degrees colder here so always bring some warm clothing!). The Idyllwild community is known as an artist’s town.
