"We stayed in the hotel for 4 days. Location was very near the train station and accessible to buses. Staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The picture of the hotel in your ad was quite deceiving. The hotel was old and made up of very old timber. , though the inside was modern in style, the room was really not a good place to relax / sleep in since I can hear the loud steps of the one above our room and the noises from the adjacent rooms.No lift or elevator available. Not recommended for elderly tourist. Amenities like kettle for hot water and water dispenser needed to be taken from the ground floor near the office. Breakfast has a variety of foods served daily. The only consolation was the breathtaking views of jungfrau and accessible transportation."

"The hotel is in a good location, just 2 minutes walk from the train station. The hotel room is decorated like a log cabin, very authentic, clean and tidy, and the hygiene is very good. It is a comfortable and beautiful log cabin. As soon as you enter, you will feel like you are living in Switzerland. It is very comfortable to stay, and there is a bathtub for bathing. The Jungfrau cable car station is within walking distance, and you will pass many small Swiss hills along the way, where you can check in and the scenery is beautiful. AAnonymous UserRight next to the train station, not a long walk, but the subway navigation was off, taking me on a long detour. I searched for a while before I found it. The hotel replied quickly to my email and sent a car to pick me up. The front desk service was excellent. It's very convenient for First and Jungfraujoch, and they can also help with booking tickets. A young man on the night shift enthusiastically suggested waiting until the next day to check the weather before booking tickets. The scenery is beautiful and the room is very spacious, but it was more expensive than the price I saw that day. Breakfast was great, very European. The scenery is beautiful.

I would say just book (level 4 lifestyle room) with a peace of mind and do remember to bring your own toiletries.

QQIANThe hotel is halfway up the hill, some distance from the Grindelwald center and the train station. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be transported. We are self-driving. There is free parking in the hotel. It is relatively close to the cable car station of the first mountain. There are not many types of breakfast at the hotel. But it is enough, the biggest feature is the scenery, so beautiful! Whether it is a room or a place to have breakfast, look out for the snowy mountain, if you come to grindelwald next time, you will stay here!

Ddcobra1981The hotel was far beyond our expectations. The hotel pictures on Ctrip really lowered the grade of this hotel. The hotel is invincible. Our room has a 180-degree balcony with an invincible view, the side of the balcony (Figure 1), the front of the balcony and the view from the restaurant (Figures 2-4). After all, it is such a noble place, and psychologically I am afraid that the waiters will be arrogant. As a result, the hotel staff provided invincible service. The child wanted to add a sofa bed, which was immediately made. The dinner added cheese for 15 Swiss francs, and the waiter introduced various cheeses to the child in detail (eat as you like). I rarely ate vegetables along the way, but I ordered a large plate of vegetables here, and they customized a grilled vegetable for us the next day. Various dishes are also delicious. Although the price of 4,500 per night is expensive, it is a bit more expensive for a family of three with a 12-year-old child, but this view and service are absolutely worth it.

TTravel bear around JapanWe are staying in Grindelwald for a couple of days and we spent one night in this hotel.
The location is a bit far away from the train station and it’s exhausting to carry heavy luggage over the slopes between station and hotel.
The price is reasonable and the balcony view of Eiger is stunning. The hotel looks quite old where no ventilation system can be found in washroom. Wi-Fi signal is poor and we were unable to connect it in the room.
We appreciate the breakfast as the food quality is good but seems the number of staff is limited. They are required to work in the reception for check in/out enquiries and at the same time busy rushing to the breakfast area to clean up the tables and food.
