Amazing
This hotel was very beautiful. The room was spacious and very clean. The view was so beautiful, waking up to the view of Eiger is really something else! One of our favorite things was definitely the spa and wellness area, especially the outdoor hot tub. There is just something special about being in warm water and it being very cold all around you. The steam from the hot water was really relaxing. The breakfast was really nice too but for CHF 35.- per person is a bit expensive in my opinion. Overall I can really recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Grindelwald.☺️

Everything was excellent. Warm welcome, friendly staff, great location with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Clean, comfortable, beautiful views, and the dinner is a must-try!

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, overlooking the town of Grindelwald. Buses 123 run hourly, but if you miss the last bus at 7 PM, you'll have to take a taxi or walk 40 minutes back to the hotel. The front desk was very friendly, sending a car to the train station to pick us up in advance. They even offered us two umbrellas before we left because it was raining. The food at the hotel restaurant is exquisite and delicious, and the prices are comparable to those outside. Rather than foraging for food outside, it's better to dine at the hotel while gazing at the snow-capped mountains. Four bottles of water were provided in the room, a first for a Swiss hotel. Disposable slippers were also provided.

The family room is quite a good size for 2 adults and 2 teens. It is very cozy and clean. Our room is facing the front and temporary reception area and we can see the Alps clearly. There is a big pigeon hole style cabinet which we can use to place our stuff. The room is organised and not cramped due to this. Breakfast is good enough for us. There is a microwave oven in the Breakfast lounge where you can heat up food and a kettle (no kettle in the room). The only thing we don't like is the lack of door to the entrance of the shower area. Anyone entering the front door of the room, can see someone showering inside the shower area (if any). We had to remind each other to stay out of that area when we shower..

The hotel is in a good location, just 2 minutes walk from the train station. The hotel room is decorated like a log cabin, very authentic, clean and tidy, and the hygiene is very good. It is a comfortable and beautiful log cabin. As soon as you enter, you will feel like you are living in Switzerland. It is very comfortable to stay, and there is a bathtub for bathing. The Jungfrau cable car station is within walking distance, and you will pass many small Swiss hills along the way, where you can check in and the scenery is beautiful. The breakfast is rich, you can bake bread, and the eggs are also hot. The accommodation experience is very good, good reviews.

Easy to find. Very central in town. Very walkable. Shared bathroom wasn't an issue. Included breakfast left us full everyday. Very short walk to cable car to get to First. Quiet and cozy rooms.

I came back from a trip and have such fond memories of staying here. It's fun even without doing anything. I enjoyed the beautiful view morning and night, and made my own coffee, tea, and food. I had a great time :-)
