Zermatt Hotels with Bars

Conveniently located near Zermatt HBF. Clean and spacious room, can see the Matterhorn tip from the balcony, will be better if I was allocated a higher level. Simple breakfast included, friendly reception , no early check in but can leave luggages with them. Overall, it’s a nice hotel to stay especially if you don’t want to drag your big luggage around. Oh.. there’s no fan and aircon in the room so have to open the window and can be wake up by the train track sound.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

The hotel is the white house shown in the first picture. The room was quite small, but the breakfast was decent and pretty abundant. It's located in the middle of town, close to the church. Overall, the value for money is alright. Zermatt has tons of hotels, so there are many choices, but very few are available for booking on Ctrip.

The waiter's attitude is good, the breakfast is very good, the choice is many, the hotel is very convenient, very clean, there are many restaurants next to it, not far from the train station and the cable car station, very convenient

This hotel is our lucky hotel! We ended the bitter wind and rain in Switzerland here and finally saw the Matterhorn! This hotel itself is also great. The interior layout and design are very cleverly using the elements of the Matterhorn. Moreover, we only made a temporary reservation at 6 or 7 last night. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room type. The room is so big and has a large balcony. There are free coffee and tea in the room. Their breakfast is also great. Because I was in a hurry to go up the mountain in the morning, I didn’t take any photos, but the breakfast is very rich, with various fresh fruits such as strawberries and kiwis, freshly fried meats such as bacon and grilled sausages, as well as vegetables such as broccoli and mushrooms, as well as various breads, juices and milk, and even freshly squeezed orange juice. You can also go to the bar and order a cappuccino. In short, you can eat very satisfying! The best thing is that this hotel also has a pick-up service. We originally had to drag the big box to the train station for more than ten minutes, and the small car took us directly there. It took a few minutes and arrived super fast! I promise that I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I come to Zermatt!

We travelled throughout Switzerland, and the view from our Matterhorn room was hands down the best we experienced. Waking up to that iconic peak every morning was simply breathtaking. The service at the Julen is impeccable. The staff is incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to meet every need we had, making us feel truly welcome. Speaking of needs, be sure to grab a bite at their downstairs restaurant. The food is excellent, though the space is a little on the cozy (some might say claustrophobic) side. Don't let that deter you, though - the culinary experience is well worth it. Overall, the Traditional Julen Hotel is a fantastic choice. Splurge on the Matterhorn room for an unforgettable view, and rest assured knowing you'll be taken care of by a truly exceptional team. Highly recommended!

the location was good. u can see matterhorn clearly but unfortunately there is a big construction crane block some view. On the way to hotel from zermatt station if you follow the google map, it gonna lead u to hard way, very high upslope hill. it will be better if hotel provide u the easy path way to hotel.

The hotel is literally a stone’s throw away from the train station. Super convenient! The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and worth it!

The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The hotel is super close to the Zermatt train station, Coop supermarket, and the Gornergrat train station. The living room is huge, and the bathroom is also very spacious. You can see the Matterhorn directly from the balcony.

Just a 10-second walk from Nihonjin-bashi, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The location is absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and offered a nice view as well. While it wasn't a Matterhorn-view room, we still enjoyed a lovely view of the Zermatt townscape. If I get the chance to visit again, I would definitely want to stay here.
