"Its a 10-min walk from the nearest train station. It has a beautiful view from the balcony where u can sit and have a coffee. Spacious room and had a bath tub so its a plus point. The room is clean. I love everything abt this place. Will definitely recommend this to our friends and families"

"I could definitely see why this hotel has such high ratings. It's less than a two-minute walk from Zermatt train station. The hotel has a cozy Alpine style, and the room was much larger and more comfortable than I expected. It was great to see that both the room and the bathroom were maintained in pristine condition. The breakfast was truly, truly excellent. It was such a clean and well-presented spread that no further explanation is needed. I was absolutely amazed by the breakfast throughout my entire three-day stay. Another great advantage of this hotel is the afternoon tea time (from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM). The coffee, drinks, and soft bread perfectly relieved the pressure of Zermatt's incredibly high prices. This is the best hotel, and I would love to visit again if I get the chance."

"The hotel boasts incredible views and a perfect location! It was truly special to witness the Matterhorn's sunrise and sunset without any other tourists around, making it an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable experience. However, the dinner wasn't particularly good, though breakfast was quite decent. Service was just average."

"Spur-of-the-moment trip to Zermatt, and we lucked out with amazing weather! I booked a quad room and emailed them three days prior to request a female-only room, which they accommodated. It was really clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the showers and toilets were separate and also very clean, with separate facilities for men and women. The breakfast was impressive, and the view from the room's window was unbeatable. I'd definitely recommend staying here again next time; it's unbeatable value for money."

"the location was good. u can see matterhorn clearly but unfortunately there is a big construction crane block some view. On the way to hotel from zermatt station if you follow the google map, it gonna lead u to hard way, very high upslope hill. it will be better if hotel provide u the easy path way to hotel."

"1. This hotel apartment has no front desk. After 4 pm, it is impossible to manually check-in. The machine can be on the machine. The machine is very slow. We also encountered the problem of credit card payment errors. After the call service staff waited for 15 minutes for people to come over to solve it. The service attitude is very good, but this is really inconvenient, especially after we slipped for a day of snow, and pulled the big box and small box very hard to get here. If it arrives at 4 pm, it is recommended to go to the next Alpen Resort hotel (the message is in the first picture) first check-in and then come over, otherwise you have to be frozen if you can't get in. 😅 2. The hotel is very good, the room is large, you can cook, we ate a few days of white rice can not stand, go to the COOP supermarket next to buy ingredients, make the simplest and most classic tomato scrambled eggs, chili fried meat, green vegetables, very satisfied 🤭 3. The room has a balcony, you can sit on the balcony to watch the snow-capped mountains and the town scenery and drink beer, it must be very pleasant. However, we were too tired to ski for a day and it was very cold, so we didn't enjoy 👻"

"The hotel was quite easy to find actually. Just follow the directions on Google Map. We had the family room which was at the top level (2 flight of stairs) and comes with a balcony. Their rooms don't have matterhorn views but the breakfast restaurant has a beautiful and clear view. Very comfy and no frills stay here!"

"The room is small and cozy for two people but if there are three people then there is hardly any space to move around after unfolding the sofa bed. So, it’s okay if you plan to stay for 2 nights. It was interesting that they offered free beverage coupons if you don’t avail housekeeping services. The receptionist in the evening was very cheerful and jolly for a good conversation to hear about local news."

"I am travelling with my 80 years old dad and visit Zermatt/Gornergrat for a day and taking Glacier Express in next early morning, this hotel is in perfect location. Just few minutes walk to train station and Gornergrat Railway. Check in is actually happened at the hotel Simi right opposite our hotel. The room is spacious and has everything we need. Also, we have a very nice and big balcony. One thing that I want to say about is the bath tub is too high for us to step in as Asian and for 80 years old man. But overall is good. BTW, there are so many restaurants around and we just went to the Swiss Chalet right opposite our hotel, services and food is really good."

"A perfect boutique hotel in the heart of Zermatt, centrally located on the main shopping street and just a few minutes’ walk from the train station. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, thoughtful pre-arrival WhatsApp messages from the front desk, and even a partial Matterhorn view from the balcony upon request. GGuest UserZermatt is an expensive town so we were happy we could save a bit with the hotel. We were worried at first based on the reviews saying it was a bit noisy but we had no issues up on the higher floor we stayed on. We would recommend this hotel if you're staying for just a night or two and are looking to control your budget while in Zermatt because eating out and the activities here are expensive. The room was just a place to sleep. We had two twin beds with slats underneath that were a bit loose and they fell out when I sat down but after we fixed it we found the beds to be comfy enough. The rooms are dated with older furniture and a mix of furniture and lighting. There was a small TV and a DVD player but we saw no need to use them with all the things to do and see in Zermatt. We did hear a little bit of noise from the bars at the street level but it wasn't too bad. If you get a lower floor you may want to consider bringing your own earplugs. The bathroom was interesting. There was a pretty big jacuzzi style bath tub with a shower head attachment - I am tall and I had to sit down to shower but my shorter wife had no issues. The bathroom had a towel warming rack with an interesting extension to hang light clothing but it did not warm. The lighting was a little dim but the lights above the sink did not work and those would have helped. The breakfast at the hotel was nice and they had a nice variety of fruit, breads, Swiss cheese and some hardboiled egg. They had juice, milk and could make coffee to order as well. The hotel had laundry machines and some popular restaurants on site. The location is the best part about this hotel. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station and very centrally located. It is close to the Gornergrat Bahn, Matterhorn Museum and the church Eglise St. Mauritius. The viewing platform of the Matterhorn at the church is great to watch the sunrise hit the tip of the Matterhorn and it is not too busy so if you have a clear day it is worth the short walk and getting up early. We went in early November so not all the hotels, shops and restaurants were open yet but there was more than enough open to keep us happy. The hotel does not have an elevator and the stairs are a little narrow so do not bring too much to visit Zermatt. We loved Zermatt and appreciated this hotel for its affordability and location. If you are not looking for anything too fancy the Hotel Helvetia will work for sleeping and some down time. It is important to note that Zermatt does not allow cars but we found parking affordable and accessible at Täsch railway station and very frequent train service to and from Zermatt.
