This Glamping site, Mingsha Flaming Tent Camp, was the most delightful surprise during my trip to Dunhuang! It completely shattered my stereotype of shabby desert tents – it's absolutely amazing! The inside of the tent is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, on par with a hotel room. Step outside and you're right in the desert, with expansive, unobstructed views and absolute privacy. It's an incredible spot for stargazing at night. The tents are scattered, providing a secluded feel, and there's no city pollution. The staff are attentive and thoughtful, and getting to the Mingsha Mountain scenic area is really convenient. If you're looking for a luxurious glamping experience in the desert, don't even think twice – book this place! It's the top choice for desert tent accommodation in Dunhuang!

The environment is quiet and elegant, the decor is unique and stylish, and the room is clean, tidy, and thoughtfully arranged with a cozy feel. The facilities are complete and functional, and the natural light and ventilation are excellent. The location is convenient and easy to find, making sightseeing and getting around incredibly hassle-free. The owner is warm, attentive, and thoughtful, providing excellent and personalized service. Overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant, far exceeding expectations. I genuinely recommend it!

Great atmosphere. The tent/bedding was much cleaner than expected despite being in the middle of desert . The heater works well. The owner took his time to take great care of us (noted that we didn’t go during high-season); very service-minded. He took us to/from airports and different tourist spots. Also provided us with many additional activities (not excluded in the initial program of camel riding) such as ATV riding, sand hill sliding, firework. The hotpot/grill dinner was delicious! We were extremely satisfied in every aspect! This Dunhuang hotel was simply perfect! We were thoughtfully upgraded to a better room because we were traveling with children, and the attention to detail was heartwarming. Breakfast was especially considerate of our little one, and the cleanliness was impeccable; the housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive. Every staff member we encountered was warm and attentive, making for a flawless experience. The hotel's location is superb, very close to the Dunhuang Night Market and major attractions, making travel incredibly convenient. We were so satisfied that we extended our stay multiple times… If we ever visit Dunhuang again, this will definitely be our top choice!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and the experience was truly excellent in every way. The property is well-maintained, clean, and welcoming, with bright spaces and designer furnishings. The room was spacious, quiet, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay (complimentary Perrier and still water, L’Occitane toiletries, fresh and dried fruits, bathtub). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to respond with a smile and offer helpful advice to make your stay even better. Breakfast was rich, varied, and made with excellent quality products. A note about the free airport/station pick-up service. 10 out of 10!

I absolutely loved the hotel's 'wild luxury' aesthetic – it's simple yet grand, with a unique and pleasant aroma. 3. The hotel's travel photography service is outstanding! I got the best set of photos I've ever had. Both the makeup artist and photographer were incredibly professional. I was instantly thrilled with the retouched photos just 5 minutes after the shoot, and even more delighted to learn they'd spend another three days on meticulous post-processing. The terrace above the lobby offers a fantastic photo op, especially with the red canopy against the desert backdrop – it's truly magnificent and a unique scene. 4. Given how dry Dunhuang is, the hotel thoughtfully provided complimentary face masks and lotion. 5. They also offered a free transfer to my next hotel.

I highly recommend this hotel to those who drive to Dunhuang with their kids. It has a bathtub, which the kids love very much. The room facilities are very complete, the environment is very good, and it is not far from the attractions. Every service staff is very enthusiastic, especially the lobby manager. Yogurt is given when you check in, and plush toys are given when you check out. The kids like it very much and said they will stay here again next time. Highly recommended. Very cost-effective.

Staying at this place in Dunhuang was such a pleasant surprise! First off, the overall environment is incredibly clean, and the style is unique. The room amenities are comprehensive, with thoughtful touches like eye masks and earplugs. The smart home controls throughout the room were a huge plus for someone as lazy as me! And I was thrilled to find that the toiletries were Diptyque, a brand I actually use myself – it instantly made me feel right at home and relaxed. We also got to experience making fun mud slab paintings at the guesthouse, which was a fantastic hands-on activity that made our leisure time incredibly fulfilling. Lastly, a big shout-out to the staff; they were attentive and enthusiastic without being intrusive, always providing just the right amount of care. The breakfast and afternoon tea were also very generous; my friend and I couldn't even finish it all! The entire stay was relaxing and enjoyable. If our itinerary hadn't been so tight, I honestly would have loved to stay a few more nights.

The hotel isn't far from the airport, maybe a little over 10 kilometers. Following the navigation, I saw a new building that looked like a museum, and only when I turned the corner did I realize it was the hotel. Ida at the front desk was excellent during check-in, very professional. Since I booked two rooms, she specially arranged connecting rooms for us. The hotel lobby is also very well-designed and grand. The bar seems to have a good variety of craft beers and cocktails, a nice spot to relax in the evening.
