Staying at a tent hotel right next to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake was an incredible experience! It truly captures the romance between the sand and the oasis. We chose the Desert Starry Sky Ziwei Garden Tent Hotel, which is within walking distance of the Mingsha Mountain scenic area. However, the hotel was incredibly thoughtful and provided a private car to take us to the attractions. I originally thought a desert tent would be quite basic, but upon arrival, I was immediately drawn to its blend of ancient charm and modern design. The scenery, especially at sunset, was breathtaking – like a beautiful silhouette. The reflections of the sunrise and sunset on the water were so romantic... The hotel facilities are exceptionally well-equipped, with air conditioning, humidifiers, showers, and wet/dry separation. The bedding was super comfortable, and the fridge was stocked with various drinks. We enjoyed wonderful song and dance performances, savored the unique flavors of desert BBQ, and even rode camels... Our one-on-one butler provided attentive service, sharing stories of the starry sky and the romance of the frontier, as if centuries of romance were waiting to be discovered. It felt like we traveled through time to appreciate the desert's grandeur with ancient people! This was truly a fantastic and joyful trip! 🌹🌹👏👏

Out of our 9-day trip along the Qinghai-Gansu Loop, this homestay was our family's absolute favorite. It's a place with real heart and soul, where every detail is thoughtfully considered. Even our five-year-old said he'd give this hotel 30 stars! The homestay has a great design aesthetic, and the rooms are spotless, perfectly matching the tastes and ideas of younger travelers. We always bring our own disposable toiletries when we travel, but here, everything was already provided in the room. I also really loved the landlady – she's just one of those people you instantly like, and it was so comfortable interacting with her. From the moment we checked into the homestay in Dunhuang, we had such a positive impression of the city. Even though our stay was brief, it's full of beautiful memories. When we were leaving, she found out my child liked apricots and even gave him some from her own yard, which was incredibly touching. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and it was all very enjoyable. I truly recommend this homestay if you're coming to Dunhuang. Traveling to Dunhuang, we stayed at Courtyard No. 23 for two nights, and the overall experience was fantastic! The room was very clean, and the entire environment is especially suitable for families with children. The courtyard has many fruit trees, including Li Guang apricots and green apples. They also raise goats and bunnies, so kids can feed the pets, and there's a lovely Border Collie too. Sitting on a lounge chair or hammock under the green apple tree, with a gentle breeze blowing, was incredibly relaxing. You can pick apricots to eat while strolling around the courtyard; the owner is very hospitable and encouraged us to eat as much as we liked [Joyful]. There's also a go-kart track, and the kids couldn't stop playing. In the morning, we had breakfast at a large wooden table under the apricot tree, enjoying delicious lamb soup noodles with coarse grains. Looking at the blue sky and the rustling poplars in the wind, we are so grateful to the guesthouse for adding such beauty to our trip. The staff were warm, thoughtful, and attentive. I truly recommend this courtyard for anyone visiting Dunhuang!

I've always wanted to experience desert tenting, and after careful consideration, I chose Windy. The location is perfect, with sand dunes just outside. The tents are in excellent condition, and the ensuite bathrooms have plenty of hot and cold water. The service was excellent, with prompt responses from the housekeepers, and the staff in the restaurant and activities were also very helpful and welcoming. Camel rides and ATV pickups are available right outside the room, which was a big plus. We were finally taken back to the city in a Mercedes-Benz van!

I got the best set of photos I've ever had. Both the makeup artist and photographer were incredibly professional. I was instantly thrilled with the retouched photos just 5 minutes after the shoot, and even more delighted to learn they'd spend another three days on meticulous post-processing. The terrace above the lobby offers a fantastic photo op, especially with the red canopy against the desert backdrop – it's truly magnificent and a unique scene. 4. Given how dry Dunhuang is, the hotel thoughtfully provided complimentary face masks and lotion. 5. They also offered a free transfer to my next hotel.

The room facilities are very complete, the environment is very good, and it is not far from the attractions. Every service staff is very enthusiastic, especially the lobby manager. Yogurt is given when you check in, and plush toys are given when you check out. The kids like it very much and said they will stay here again next time. Highly recommended. Very cost-effective.

During peak season, hotel rooms were scarce, and I had only booked one night. Anna assisted me in extending my stay at the discounted platform rate. She also helped me book tickets for 'See Dunhuang Again' and even gave me a 30 RMB fruit voucher. I really appreciate Anna's thoughtful and meticulous service. Although the hotel room wasn't huge, it was very cozy and comfortable. You could even see distant views of Mingsha Mountain from the window. My child was particularly pleased as well.
