If you're staying near de airport but want to stay in homely place, have a delicious dinner on one of the multiple delicious restaurants or bars in the area and relax, this is a great place. Staff is attentive, breakfast is simple in the traditional style, and rooms are clean and spacious.

Was welcomed by the very friendly Dark haired Desk Manager. She swiftly glanced at the colors of my outfit and assigned me a room that perfectly matches... I found out that later as it was a pleasant surprise, she guessed that I drink lots of tea, so she gave me a huge luxury tea kettle to take to my room, some people are emotional genuises! She figured I booked this hotel because of the name... So she explained to me the historic significance of Fium-Icino and it's incredible subtle multi-player Ed lesser relation to the famous Rubicon, which used to be called Fium-Icino until the rediscovery of the Rubicon.. It's like all the Great rivers know each other! She explained that the Rubicon became associated with Barracks populism and the Tiber became associated with Aristocratic democracy and later on Enjoying Catholicism. The Hotel itself sits on the mouth of Second tributary canal that fed the new port of old Rome, because the original Tiber last miles were full of it! If you must see the older river Port is a 15 minute walk south across until you reach the North banks across of Ostia. As that settled in my mind, she explained the Tiber significance Upstream Rome... Small boats used to go up the Tiber deep into Umbria. The thought of all that was amazing, due to the Hotel significance it will be renovated into an exclusive Luxury 5 star Hotel, will be all Stone like the Monolithic Limestone honed filled sink, but with stone cladding everywhere it will become prohibitively expensive luxury hotel, but for now it's still an excellent Transit hotel... A good 1 hour walk from the airport, especially at night, make a right and follow the river North Bank of the new Canal and you will reach the Hotel... You can't miss it.

Facilities: Because the hotel is old, the facilities are old but there is no problem Hygienic: It is cleaned up, but it may be because the hotel is a bit old and looks a bit dirty, but it is not actually dirty. I booked a large bed and three single beds, but what I got was a large bed and two single beds, which was not as described.

The receptionist is very polite and talented . She care about all the Clients and she is very prepared around the area . Not even at Westin excelsior you receive. Attentions and consideration as from the evening shift receptionist . Hope you treasure her as much as we are pleased with her services . Room is tidy all functions and there is a very good restaurant Calle i conti near by . Good experience

The hotel is a homestay nature, the location is not too far from Rome Airport, the 7 euro bus is there, the room is clean, very quiet, there are fruit trees in the yard, the landlord is very enthusiastic, when I check in, I made an appointment for the shuttle bus to the airport the next day. Not far from the hotel is the seaside, just a few minutes walk, I saw a beautiful sunset on the beach in the evening of the arrival, I will have the opportunity to choose here in the future, it is recommended!
