My stay here last year was great, so I decided to come back for my round-the-island trip this year. When checking in, I asked the front desk about motorcycle parking. The staff member, whose name tag said 'Intern,' told me I could park anywhere on the white lines along the road next to the hotel. I then asked if the parking lot across the street, where I parked last year, was still an option. A man and a woman next to the counter said that was for cars and heavy motorcycles (even though I wasn't riding a heavy motorcycle last year either). I said 'okay' and went to look for white lines on the road next to the hotel (as shown in the photo). Turns out, the road had just been repaved and there were no markings at all. If you expect us to find our own parking, you should at least clarify that the road markings are gone. I'm not a local, so how would I know what markings used to be there? And the full-time staff member next to the intern also just replied, as if it wasn't their problem, 'You can park on the white lines nearby.' Where exactly are these 'nearby white lines'? Anyway, the breakfast was good. If you're on a budget, I highly recommend this place.

They offer a lemon tart for birthday celebrants of the month, and the Cat's Tail one was really delicious. I'd suggest installing a rearview mirror at the parking exit to help drivers see oncoming traffic. Also, please don't park at the coin payment machine, as it blocks the exit flow and makes it hard to pay. The light fixture in room 402's bathroom was flickering and seems to be damaged. Overall, it was great 👍👍 and I'd come back again. Thank you!

Close to Fisherman's Wharf, the Tamsui sunset is incredibly beautiful. The front desk lady was very warm and welcoming. It's a bit far from the MRT station, but the room is large and beautiful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a bathtub too! I loved it.
