My stay at EVEN Hotel Brooklyn was generally comfortable, though there are a few things to note. The hotel is in a very convenient location with many eateries nearby, and several train lines within a short walk, making it easy to travel to any part of New York City. The neighbourhood felt safe overall, despite a shooting incident that took place nearby during our stay.

The room itself was not super clean, and it contained several exercise equipment items, which may not suit everyone. While the concept is unique, it made the room feel a bit cluttered.

That said, the hotel’s surroundings and accessibility remain its strongest points. It is a practical option if you value convenience and easy access to transport and food choices.

Excellent location! The UN, Times Square, and Empire State Building are all within easy walking distance. For Manhattan, the room size was quite generous, easily accommodating two large suitcases. The dining area is compact but impeccably clean and well-maintained. Breakfast selection is limited, but everything is beautifully prepared and delicious. They also have an outdoor terrace with comfortable sofas, perfect for enjoying the warm Manhattan sun. There's a car rental agency directly across the street, which also doubles as a Zuzuche pick-up point – a massive convenience!

The hotel rooms, though small, were clean and tidy, well-maintained, and in a great location—quiet despite being in a bustling area. It was very close to the subway station, making transportation convenient. For New York, it was considered good value for money.

I chose this hotel because of its high reviews, but in reality, there was construction work going on next to the highway, so it was very noisy day and night. This price is in line with the location in New York. The staff were very friendly and considerate. However, I was a bit skeptical about the fact that it took four weeks to process the refund of my $200 deposit, which I wasn't informed of in advance.

Five stars service. This hotel makes you feel like home. The room is clean and tidy. A great place to relax. 

The staff are caring and detail-minded. Their service is 100/100 !! 

They provide delicious breakfast and FREE late night snacks. Another impressive thing is that they provide unlimited supply of bottle water (warm and cold) !! 

They also provide wide range of pillows for you to choose, allowing you to have a very good night sleep.  I chose lavender pillow for my stay and it was great! 

I would definitely come back again !!

This hotel is the top choice for events at the exhibition center. The location is excellent, and as a new hotel, it's very clean. Seven at the front desk provided fantastic service; I bothered her many times, and I apologize for that. The breakfast is not just a perfunctory offering; it's definitely worth eating, and the pastry chef is very skilled. I'll stay here again next time.

On the downside, the sliding bathroom door is outside the sink area, which is a bit awkward. The side facing the elevated highway gets a lot of sun and is a bit noisy. With the windows closed, it's only marginally acceptable. The hot/cold air conditioning switch is very inflexible. The two beds in the twin room are a bit too close together, likely to make space for yoga (which feels pointless), resulting in very little bedside table space, making it hard to place things.

Very pleased with my stay in this hotel. Requested early check-in if it was available, and the staff were able to check me in at around 11am, and even upgraded to a bigger room. The room was very spacious and clean, with good lighting. The toiletries (shampoo, body soap etc) were amazing, I really loved the scent, it was very relaxing. I extended my stay by one night, and the staff were also very kind to let me stay in the same room. I stayed here to attend a concert at Mercedes-Benz Arena, and it was an easy 10-15 minutes walk to the venue. The China Art Museum metro Station was also very accessible which makes it easy to go to other parts of the city. I tried the breakfast buffet on one of the mornings, it was affordable (88yuan) and had a variety of local and western breakfast foods.

I had previously booked this hotel for a friend and had a good impression. This time, experiencing it myself, it truly exceeded my expectations.

Facilities: The hotel feels brand new with comprehensive facilities. The fitness center is particularly impressive. I tried the gym on the 33rd floor and had a great experience.

Cleanliness: Impeccably clean and tidy, spotless throughout.

Service: I requested room cleaning, and it was immaculately tidied by the time I finished my meal downstairs – truly efficient and precise. The service from Xiao Wan was exceptional and left a lasting impression.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I will definitely be back.

Opened in 2025, under the InterContinental Hotels Group, and seeing all 5-star reviews, I decided to check it out.

1. The front desk service was quite good. Arriving at 1:20 AM, I received an upgrade and complimentary breakfast. They asked if I was a member and told me to leave my phone number and email address so they could check my records – very thoughtful. However, there was no response regarding check-out.

2. I was woken up by loud construction noise upstairs around 8 AM. I called the front desk three times, and on the third call, they finally agreed to move me to a room on the 19th floor. Thank you! At 9:21 AM, I was in my new room when the receptionist knocked, thought no one was home, and came in. I was still standing at the door when she said she thought the room was empty.

3. The front desk gave me a small gift upon check-out, which I appreciated. However, a plush toy and a plastic cup really felt like this was the standard for service at InterContinental Hotels Group.

The room was very nice, and the front desk even upgraded us, which was very kind of them. This hotel is very conveniently located near the Panda Base and Sanxingdui, and parking is easy to find for those driving. There's a subway station just one kilometer away, making it easy to get into Chengdu city center. There are also buses nearby, offering various options. The breakfast was good, although perhaps due to the busy Spring Festival schedule, the stir-fried dishes had less meat and weren't very refined. However, the other Western dishes, pastries, and black rice porridge were all very well prepared. The room was nice, but it was a bit noisy because it faces the street; earplugs could be provided for guests who have trouble sleeping. Overall, it's a very good hotel and worth recommending.
