Staying at the Kindness Hotel Station East Jiuru was a great experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located not far from Kaohsiung Main Station, with plenty of dining options nearby. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent, so it didn't really affect my sleep at night. The staff were friendly and efficient with both check-in and check-out. The first floor offers complimentary coffee, tea, ice cream, and snacks, and the breakfast selection is extensive, offering excellent value for money. For its price, I would highly recommend it for both business trips and leisure stays. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Kaohsiung.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has a good location that is close to Kaohsiung Main Station and a nightmarket. There is also a 7-Eleven just a few meters away.
They upgraded my room to a very spacious one. The room was very clean and the AC worked very well.
The hotel offers a free laundry room and free tasty ice cream.

We were extremely impressed with our stay at this hotel! We absolutely loved the unlimited snacks available throughout the day, including coffee, tea, junk foods, and especially the ice cream. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary 24-hour laundry service, which was very convenient and added great value to our experience. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations with its wide variety of delicious dishes. Our room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, providing the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The hotel's location was also excellent and convenient for exploring the area. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding amenities. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very affordable, think they might have upgraded us to 2x double beds which was awesome, free breakfast in the morning, free housekeeping, reception was also very friendly and helpful (we were rushing for the HSR after checkout and she helped us to book a taxi), just the door is still a key type and the knob seems kind of flimsy so it did worry us. Location is very central and convenient.

This hotel definitely deserves a special shout-out! My experience was fantastic right from check-in. For those who enjoy culinary experiences, I highly recommend checking out their 'one night, two meals' package. I loved the ice cream with nachos at the ground floor cafe. The evening snacks and breakfast on the second floor were also delicious. While it might not have the extensive variety of a typical star-rated hotel buffet, it offers a great chance to try various local snacks. Every single braised meat, minced pork, and topping was incredibly flavorful, and I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of a rice cooker so you could serve yourself hot rice. You could really tell that the restaurant staff and managers were genuinely dedicated to service and food quality, constantly moving around and attending to guests.

The room was spotless, and the lighting was much brighter than what you'd typically find in comparable hotels. The bathroom was also more spacious. The only minor drawback was a gap of about 1cm under the room door, which made me think the soundproofing might not be great. However, I wasn't disturbed by any noise from outside during my stay.

Even though the hotel isn't located right by an MRT station, its facilities, service, and cleanliness are all excellent. What truly impressed me was their incredible generosity – not only do they provide breakfast, but they also offer late-night snacks, treats, and ice cream! On top of that, the washing machines and dryers are a very thoughtful amenity for travelers.

staff are well trained and polite, provided good service

provides breakfast, afternoon tea and supper. hotel is frequently used to host tourists staff will advise guests to avoid peak hour timings at breakfast and super service.

room is clean, and well equipped with amenities. do bring own toothbrush and toothpaste, razor as they do not provide in accordance to taiwan policies on disposable items.

only issue is that the soundproofing done between floors is not as good

The hotel's location is really convenient, close to the Light Rail Glory Pier station, and there are some restaurants nearby too. I got a room upgrade at check-in, which was a nice bonus! On the first floor, they offer complimentary snacks, ice cream, and cookies, though seating is a bit limited. The room itself was clean and tidy, though the lighting in the sofa and coffee table area was a bit dim. The soundproofing was excellent; I barely heard any noise at night. The AC temperature was just right, and the water pressure was stable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with both Chinese and Western options, plus a live cooking station. Overall, it was a great stay, and I'd definitely consider coming back!

Staying in a double suite for one night, including breakfast, for less than NT$1600, plus free self-service laundry, coffee, drinks, and snacks. There's no on-site parking, but they offer a NT$200 subsidy for public street parking nearby. Overall, it's excellent value for money.

The hotel isn't located on a main road, so there's no traffic noise. There's a market and shops like Quanlian nearby, which are convenient for groceries. However, there are limited parking spaces right in front, so late arrivals will have to park in a more distant partner lot.

This is by far the warmest and cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. After checking in, all sweaty from the heat, the front desk lady, with a smile, told me I could go enjoy their free afternoon tea. She then mentioned that supper was also complimentary. A glass of winter melon tea and two scoops of ice cream instantly cooled me down. I was also amazed by the variety of food offered at supper. And out of all the places I've stayed on this trip, this is the first hotel in Taiwan with a free self-service laundry facility. It was so convenient and comfortable! If I ever get the chance to visit Tainan again, I will definitely stay here.

I recently stayed at the Kindness Hotel Tainan Minsheng Branch, and the overall experience was really comfortable! The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very relaxing to sleep on. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling from check-in to check-out. What made me happiest was the breakfast: they offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western buffet options, all delicious. After a satisfying meal, I had plenty of energy to start my day of exploring Tainan. The hotel also has a 24-hour coffee, tea, and ice cream bar, which is super convenient if you want a snack in the evening. The value for money is truly excellent, making it a very satisfying stay. The location is also very convenient; stepping out, you're right in the heart of Tainan's delicious food and shopping streets, perfect for solo travelers and relaxing getaways. Highly recommend overall!

Highly recommended hotel! From the room type to the service, everything made us feel comfortable. This time I stayed with my mom and sister, and my sister kept saying... From now on, whenever we come back to Hualien, let's just stay here.
