I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The check-in process was very fast and efficient, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

I originally booked a double room, but to my surprise, I was given a complimentary upgrade to a quadruple room. The room was extremely spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It even had two TVs, which was a nice bonus. The restroom was also large and featured a bathtub, making the stay even more comfortable.

Whenever I encountered any issues, the hotel staff responded promptly and resolved them efficiently.

The location is excellent—only about a 5-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station. There are plenty of convenient dining and shopping options nearby, including McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, and 7-Eleven.

The breakfast was another highlight of the stay, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes.

Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kaohsiung.

I would give this hotel 100 out of 10! The stay was truly excellent, offering great value for money and wonderful service throughout. I really appreciated the complimentary snacks provided during the stay, and the hotel also offers free laundry service, which was a very nice bonus (even though I personally missed the chance to use it).

The room itself was not very large, but it was well arranged with two queen beds. The hotel also provided four bottles of water and four sets of amenities, even though the room was for two guests and I stayed alone. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable, making it easy to sleep well.

The staff were all very friendly, professional, and able to communicate clearly. Whenever I asked for recommendations or assistance, they provided useful and thoughtful suggestions.

Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Guests can also enjoy complimentary snacks and ice cream downstairs during the stay. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent location, convenient for getting around everywhere. The metro station is super close, and the Taiwan Railways station is also easily accessible, making it the best choice for exploring Kaohsiung and its surroundings. The breakfast spread is abundant, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thumbs up!

Great location less than 20 minutes from KHH airport. It is within 8 minutes walking distance from SOGO for those who love to shop department stores.  

There are 7-11s ( more than one!) Family Marts and a PX Mart (grocery store) along each road.  Very convenient.  

The drinks at 7-11 will be cheaper priced than Family Mart and PX Mart and sometimes they will have a BOGO on select items ( I got an extra baby wipe pack by sheer luck).

The Family Mart will have more unique items (ex Kombucha, health teas etc). The food selection for both places will be a bit limited for grab and go eats.  Think sweet pastries and snacks.  They do have some sandwiches but not super healthy if you are vegetarian.

The hotel has complementary breakfast that starts at 6:30am ends at 10am.  It is a buffet the fills up the entire room.  There is a wonderful mix of local foods, one Western style pot.

There is a small salad bar, fruit bar, coffee/tea and a small short order cook that will fry up 4 items (eggs, scallion onion omelette, turnip cakes). There is an other side has at least 10 varieties of local foods.  

The quality is great! Not too oily, 2 congee pots ( regular and Hong Kong Style).  Fruits include what is season (Guava, apples, watermelon) and oranges, bananas.

I will warn you about the late night snack (Dim Sum) buffet.  Located on same floor and it starts at 7pm.  That is a busy mad house. The line to queue up starts earlier and it will go down the hall to the stairwell.  

Lots of tour buses come to this location and tour groups will flood in each week during season.  I went during early April for 9 days.  

I would go to breakfast at 8 am and skipped the nighttime crush. Restaurants are readily available all around and very affordable.

This hotel comes with complimentary laundry DIY and laundry powder soap.  Make sure you write your room number on the dry erase placard and stick it on each machine you use.  Otherwise another guest may accidentally throw their items in and use the machine.  The dryers are on top so hard to see what’s on the bottom.  

There is a free lounge in the lobby that has complimentary ice cream, coffee/tea and jasmine flavored gelatin cups.  You can sit there all day if you like and sip on a free espresso or other drink.

This hotel comes with a lot of amenities at a reasonable rate— I will stay here again next time.

I stayed at Kindness Hotel Kaohsiung Liuhe Night Market Zhongzheng during my trip to Kaohsiung.

Overall, the cleanliness and service were very good. The staff were friendly and the room was well maintained. The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast, which is quite decent. The selection is fairly normal, but it is sufficient if you are not too picky.

One of the main advantages is the location. The hotel is very close to Liuhe Night Market, making it convenient to explore the night market and nearby food options.
However, although the hotel is near the night market, you still need to walk through a small bumpy passageway to reach the hotel with luggage. It was manageable for us, but it might be a little inconvenient, especially if it rains.

Overall, it is still a good and comfortable stay, especially for travelers who want easy access to Liuhe Night Market.

Even though the hotel isn't located right by an MRT station, its facilities, service, and cleanliness are all excellent. What truly impressed me was their incredible generosity – not only do they provide breakfast, but they also offer late-night snacks, treats, and ice cream! On top of that, the washing machines and dryers are a very thoughtful amenity for travelers.

provides breakfast, afternoon tea and supper. hotel is frequently used to host tourists staff will advise guests to avoid peak hour timings at breakfast and super service.

room is clean, and well equipped with amenities. do bring own toothbrush and toothpaste, razor as they do not provide in accordance to taiwan policies on disposable items.

only issue is that the soundproofing done between floors is not as good

The social area downstairs is great, offering coffee, tea, and ice cream, which is a nice touch. The breakfast soup changes daily and is always delicious. The room was also very clean and overall, the stay was very pleasant.
However, in some rooms, the toilet seat doesn’t fit properly and moves when you sit down, which can be uncomfortable. I also really appreciated the friendly smiles from the front desk staff.

Even though it’s not like the big luxury hotels, the service was exactly like it, would definitely recommend it !!! 100% excellent

First time staying here, and the location is fantastic. The staff were all very polite and friendly.

It's the top choice for winter amusement park activities, and super close to the pier.

There's a 7-Eleven nearby. The only minor downside is that the coffee isn't very good – not sure if it's the beans or the machine, but even the latte wasn't great. I think that's definitely an area for improvement.

The breakfast was diverse, plentiful, and delicious.

The snacks were also very thoughtful – all-you-can-eat ice cream, which the kids absolutely loved!

This is by far the warmest and cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. After checking in, all sweaty from the heat, the front desk lady, with a smile, told me I could go enjoy their free afternoon tea. She then mentioned that supper was also complimentary. A glass of winter melon tea and two scoops of ice cream instantly cooled me down. I was also amazed by the variety of food offered at supper. And out of all the places I've stayed on this trip, this is the first hotel in Taiwan with a free self-service laundry facility. It was so convenient and comfortable! If I ever get the chance to visit Tainan again, I will definitely stay here.

I recently stayed at the Kindness Hotel Tainan Minsheng Branch, and the overall experience was really comfortable! The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very relaxing to sleep on. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling from check-in to check-out. What made me happiest was the breakfast: they offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western buffet options, all delicious. After a satisfying meal, I had plenty of energy to start my day of exploring Tainan. The hotel also has a 24-hour coffee, tea, and ice cream bar, which is super convenient if you want a snack in the evening. The value for money is truly excellent, making it a very satisfying stay. The location is also very convenient; stepping out, you're right in the heart of Tainan's delicious food and shopping streets, perfect for solo travelers and relaxing getaways. Highly recommend overall!

One of the better (if not the best) hotel chains I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’ve visited Taiwan about 10 times and stayed here for 2 nights, and overall I was very satisfied with the experience.

They provide free bicycles (3 hours limit), which is useful for getting around Hualien. Breakfast has a good spread, and there are complimentary ice cream and drinks available in the lobby around the clock. We didn’t realise they also offer late-night supper from 7pm to 9pm, which was honestly as good as a proper dinner buffet, with a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes and even live entertainment.

The room was spacious and well maintained, with no hygiene concerns. Shower water pressure was good. Noise levels were generally fine, though louder sounds like furniture movement could occasionally be heard.

The hotel is conveniently located near a convenience store, restaurants, KTV, and a cinema, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the station. You can also cycle to the night market within 15 minutes, making it super easy to get around the main area without getting a taxi.

Overall, a very good stay and very good value for money. While a gym would be nice, I would definitely consider staying at other branches on future trips.
